Larissa remembered that most of the guests on the 16th floor were from the "Time of Childhood" cast.

She went to the front desk and had them check the records in the system. Room 1623 was indeed included among the dozens of rooms the "Time of Childhood" crew booked.

Since the crew themselves decided on the room assignments, the front desk couldn't replace out who the guest in room 1623 was.

However, room 1623 was a luxury suite, and only a few prominent actors and influential people within the crew could stay there.

Larissa's heart sank at the possibility that Cody might be meeting the producer of "Time of Childhood." She grabbed the front desk's intercom to call the housekeeping staff. "Who cleaned room 1623 today? Do you know who is staying there?"

A few minutes later, someone replied, "I cleaned it, and it seems to be a female celebrity, but I don't know her."

It calmed Larissa down a little.

She instructed the security, "If that man enters any other room afterward, you must inform me immediately."

She was afraid that the actress would mediate their meeting.

Fortunately, she didn't receive a call from the security department until she went to sleep.

The next day, she called the hotel again and was told that Cody stayed in 1623 the whole night and left in the morning after 8 am. Larissa found it awkward that she had accidentally stumbled upon an affair. But this matter had nothing to do with her, and she certainly didn't want to involve herself.

Around 8 pm, Larissa went to the pantry to pour herself a cup of coffee. On her way back to the office, she overheard a few employees talking about a commotion in the lobby on the first floor.

It wasn't anything unusual since the lobby and security usually handled such matters themselves without her intervention, so she didn't pay much attention to it.

When she was leaving at 9 pm, she ran into the lobby manager on the first floor. Hence, she asked, "Did something happen tonight?"

The lobby manager's expression was a little unreadable. "Yeah, it was quite intense, but I managed to handle it in the end."

"What happened?" Larissa furrowed her brows. "Was a guest dissatisfied with our hotel?"

"No," the lobby manager smirked slyly. "A wife came here, trying to catch her husband cheating, and demanded the front desk provide her husband's room number. Of course, since our receptionist could not disclose our guest's privacy, she caused a scene, berating our hotel, calling us low-class, and even threatening to shut us down. Let me tell you, with her aggressive behavior, if I were her husband, I'd cheat too!"

Larissa's mind raced, and she asked, "Do you know the name of her husband?"

"Oh, speaking of that, it's quite amusing!" The lobby manager covered his mouth to hold back his laughter. "Her husband is Cody Rogers, the president of Soaring Corporation! It's quite hilarious that Cody is staying in our hotel."

Larissa was unaware that Cody had already been promoted to the president of Soaring Corporation. When she left, it was still under the control of Kevan's father. It seemed that Kevan's comatose state had greatly affected the Rogers. However, that was not important at the moment.

Cody's wife, most likely, was Lana.

Back then, Lana had risen to fame and glory, constantly flaunting it in front of Larissa and making various sarcastic remarks. She even went as far as to stage a fake tragedy to frame her, forcing her to leave her hometown.

At that time, Lana probably never imagined she would end up in a worse situation than her, and it delighted Larissa.

Lana deserved everything that had happened to her!
