Charles reached for his black coat and put it on before walking out of the CEO's office.

As he was leaving, he called Nancy and told her not to forget to pick up the children in the kindergarten.

Frederic felt and looked much better, but turned his head and sighed at the sight of Charles.

"What's wrong, Grandpa?" Charles asked in surprise.

Frederic cast a glance at him and said, "I was only angry with Joseph because I felt sorry for Nadia. After giving it some thought, I realized that Joseph had always been idle and only cared for women. He's not a bad guy. He wouldn't fight with a child. Joseph's like a child who hasn't grown up yet. He's always liked playing with Nadia and Bobby. I can't believe he would hit Nadia on purpose."

When Frederic saw the video of Derrick and Anna together, the corners of his mouth twitched. "Is this true? Are they telling the truth?"

"Yes, they threatened me with the possibility of a relationship between Edward and Nancy. I have the proof right here. How can I lie to you?" Charles shrugged. "Besides, Grandpa, I don't have to lie to you, do 1?"

Frederic was so furious that he clutched at his chest as he coughed. His face turned red. "I can't believe this!

Call that bastard. Derrick. Do it now!" "I don't think it would be appropriate for the call to come from me. You should be the one to call him."

Charles knew Derrick too well. He was cunning and wouldn't give up so easily. He could quickly come up with a counter-attack.
