"Know your place in this pack, witch. No one here wants you, and it’s clear, especially Dexter." She muttered, but I scoffed out loud as I stared at her. There was no damn way I was letting her step all over me simply because she was Dexter’s favorite bitch!

"Says who? Says the bitch who should be showing me all the respect I deserve." I retaliated and I could see anger building up as she stared at me,

I smiled but as I released my grip on her, she grabbed my wrist again,

"Who do you think Dexter would believe? You or me?" She uttered and without giving me any time to process what she had just said, she forced my arm on her chest and fell to the ground, crying out in pain,

"What? Are you insane? What the..." My words were interjected by Dexter’s scary voice

"Scarlett?" His voice came rushing from behind me and when I turned around to look at him, he pushed past me as he rushed towards her, while I found myself on the floor,

As he picked her up in his arms, his glare at me suddenly became deathly,

"Are you fucking insane? Is this your damn way of getting back at me for last night? If you ever touch even a strand of her hair again, I’ll make sure you fucking regret the day the moon goddess chose you to become my mate!" He yelled and I couldn’t help but stare at him in disbelief,

Why the hell was I always so emotional about everything? I watched as he continued to walk with Scarlett in his arms until they were out of my sight and 1 simply decided to let it go,

I meant nothing to him after all and the same goes for me,

I continued to walk until I got out of the house, heading towards the small canopy where the Luna was seated and was waiting for me,

"Hello Dearest, come have a seat."

I honestly never get tired of her beautiful smile and it made me wonder why she was always so cheerful.

"You look extremely beautiful today, Luna." I complimented and she chuckled, rubbing my back as I took my seat on the armchair close to her,

"I got you a present darling." She uttered and handed me a polythene bag containing something. When I opened it, I saw a small container filled with pills,

"Those are fertility pills, darling. They’ll aid you get pregnant faster. We hope you can take in as soon as possible and bear a future heir for your mate to secure his position as Alpha King."

I smiled back at her, nodding my head and just suddenly an idea came into my head,

"Thank you so much, Luna, but I think I’ll need one more thing. Maybe you could talk to the Alpha King."

"What is it dear?"

"Dexter and I would love to have our honeymoon somewhere a bit far from the pack as it would aid me take in faster! I responded hoping that deep down, she would agree,

I had to put that bitch Scarlett in her place and show her who’s boss.
