FORTY ONE.

Chloe,

I walk inside our room and my body feels so heavy and again my head hurts.

I took a quick shower and changed my dirty clothes. I walk inside our walk in closet and grab a cleancomfy clothes.

After I out my clothes on I hear someone knocks at the door.

"Luna Chloe, it's Cassie."

So she really is Cassie, I see.

"Oh, come on in." I shouted and saw her came in while grinning.

As I was walking towards our bed to get my phone, my head feels heavy and my vision starts toblur, I then saw Cassie running towards me.

"Luna Chloe, oh my God, oh my God" that would be the last thing I heard and I was out ofconsciousness.

Zachary,

We all are patiently waiting for Chloe and Cassie to come down and we'll eat but no one is coming.So I decided to bring this up inside our room.

"You guys can eat now, I'll just bring this up to our room. Janice, please place this in a tray" I say andthey all nod and start eating.

I saw that everyone is happy and we do love the pork, chicken adobo. Janice placed them all in atray.

"I'll carry it up,”

"Janice, sit down and eat your lunch. I can handle this."

"Of course Alpha.” I left the dinning area .

I was walking upstairs and just one more floor I'll be able to reach our room. Then I hear Cassieshouting Chloe's name.

I dropped the tray and run towards our room and I saw Cassie trying to wake my mate.

"Luna Chloe please wake up, Luna Chloe!"

"Cassie, go and link doctor Rain tell him to come now!" I am so scared right now not knowing whatI will do.

I carried her and gently place her at our bed. Her body feels like burning.

"Harry! James!" I hear my sister calls my beta and gamma.

"Love, please wake up" I cry and gently caress her cheeks.

(After 10 minutes)

"Alpha Zachary?" Doctor Rain knocks.

"Oh, please come in." he opened the door and walks inside and start to check on my mate and Ican't stop myself from growling because of the touch he's giving her but I know deep inside that Ineed to trust him.

"Thank the goddess she’s not in heat but her body is tired. Did she eat? Some of her woundsopened up, why is that?" Rain ask.

"I am not sure if she finishes her breakfast and at the same time she helped the pack clean outside.”I say and he fixes his tools.

"She's okay now Alpha Zachary, she's just tired and at the same time she did not have a full meal toat least help her body and that also made her weak. If she wakes up, you guys can eat.”

"Thank you Rain"

"Call me if something happens again.” I nod and he goes out..

I take my sit beside her, holds her hand close to mine. I'm so angry to myself now just by watchingher like this and I know that it was because of me, how can I be so careless about this.

(After 2 hours)

"Love, you alright ?"* I ask when I saw her open her eyes.

"What happened?" she ask

"Doctor came and he checked you , “cause you're out of consciousness. He told me that you're tiredand have not eaten any."

She nod her head and scans the room. I gave her a glass of water and she drunk it immediately."Thank you"

"You okay now?" I ask

"Did you eat your lunch?" she ask back.

"Not yet, I want to make sure that your okay. Everyone I think already ate"

"Good. Let's go eat and---"

"Love, No, you stay here and wait for me. Don't come out when I'm not here and please take care ofyourself." I say and she frown.

"I Love You Zachary"

You've got to be kidding!

I smile at her and move close to where she is. I lean my forehead to her and I saw her close her eyesbut her smile still there playing on her lips.

"I love you more than you ever know. I'm sorry for ignoring you though."

"Sorry for shouting at you, my bad.”

"I love you, please keep that in mind and always take care of yourself. What if I was not around you,I don't want you to get hurt just---"

"Please don't say those words. It looks like you're leaving me your last words, you promised thatyou'll always be here for me.” she says and she's crying now.

"Of course not my love, please don't think that way. I will never leave you because you're alreadyone of us and you'll always be my mate, my wife.” I say and pulled into a tight hug. "I love you baby,always will."

I kiss her forehead and we stayed there for a while. "Come love, let's eat.” there's a little dinninginside out room and I asked Janice for another set of food and she brought us another just a whileago.

"I can't eat all of that" she mumbles.

"You have to, love." I smirk and she sighs but starts eating. We're half way in finishing our food whensomeone knocks at our door.

"Alpha Zachary, Luna Chloe?" Cassie then peeks through the door.

"Am I disturbing you guys?”

"Ah no, not now. Come in" Chloe mumbles making us laugh.

"How are you Luna?"

"I'm good now Cassie, thank you for catching me." she then look at me.

"Thank you for always being there.” Cassie then started to tease us.

Dammit!

Am I blushing!

"Yiiiee! You really are good at coaxing" Cassie mumbles.

I was about to leave when my mate grab a hold of my hand and intertwined it with hers.

"Cassie can---"

"l got it, see you later!" she tickled my side before running out our room.

"Cassie!" and she waved Goodbye

"Sit down, Zachary" I didn't make any move, I just stood in front of her.

"Please," I wanted to tease her more but she's not yet that good.

I take my sit and didn't say a word, she then remove her hands and sat on my lap. Oh my GodChloe, please don't start like this.

My cheeks start to burn and I didn't expect her to sit on my lap like this. She wrap my hands aroundher and cup both my cheeks.

She's so sexy right now!
