DAISY

I watch as Brooke runs towards the clearing. I have been ignoring Rex since I have come back as I have seen him with that human girl a lot.

I walk out of the hall but I know someone is behind me, he does this every day.

I walk but all of a sudden, I am grabbed from behind and shoved into a small room, the door closes and I turn around to see Rex standing in front of the door.

“Daisy please” he says pleading “Talk to me.”

I move to one side and moves with me, I move to the other side and he follows. We must have done this dance twice already.

I huff out in frustration “Leave me alone Rex” I say through gritted teeth.

He grunts as I slap his chest “I’m not letting you go anywhere, I want to talk to you and I miss you like crazy” he says.

I turn around and walk into the room and try to ignore him. He stays by the door, obviously afraid that I would run out of the room the first chance I get.

“Daisy I want us to talk about things” he says quietly.

I sigh, I might as well get this over and done with but I don’t turn around “Why her Rex? Why is she here? Why are you around here since she has come to the pack?” I say frustration taking over.

Rex is quiet for a moment but sighs “I was drunk when we…..” he says but as I turn around and he looks at me he breathes out “I knew you were my mate for two years Daisy, I wanted to be your first of everything but the night I got with Amy, I received a photo of you kissing someone at a party” he says and walks over to a chair that was by the side of him, he sits down “I was heartbroken, I was made to go with Hudson as I was his Beta and I had to make sure that he wasn’t out of line especially when the alpha learnt that there was a human working for the pack.”

He looks at me “I was a mess, I was in pain that you would be with someone else” he says.

I can’t help but growl “You f****d Amy, Rex” I shout “I didn’t even have s*x with anyone till you, you know that.”

I may have kissed boys but I never gave my virginity away as I was keeping that for my mate, now thinking back I sometimes wish I hadn’t especially heard all this.

“I know I messed up” he says as he keeps looking at me “I was holding the photo in front of me when Amy came over to me, she was in a mess as Hudson had a complete melt down that he was working with a human. We were both caught up in a moment, we didn’t even know what we were doing till we woke up the next morning and we both regretted it. I only spoke to her once after.”

I sigh “When did she tell you about the baby then?” I ask.

His eyes were on me “She didn’t tell me in person, she sent me a letter when we came back home after the first time we left there when the rogues attacked, that was the year you realized that we were mates” he says and slowly moves towards me.

“Daisy, I don’t want Amy or anything to come between us” he says as he moves closer to me. I’m rooted to the spot “I want you Daisy” he says as he stands in front of me. I look up at him I can feel his heat coming from him. I know my body will react if he touches me. I don’t want to touch him.

I close my eyes “What if the baby comes looking for you? What do we do then?” I ask as this question has been playing on my mind since replaceing out.

He looks down at me “I don’t know, one thing though, we will deal with it together when it comes and Daisy” he says as he leans down, his hands by the side of him but his head is in the crook of my neck, I can feel his hot breath on my neck “We are mates, we can deal with anything and as for Amy, I have no feelings for her what so ever.”

He had to bring her up.

I push him away from me “f**k Rex, why have you been hanging around her then?” I ask with a scream “Both you and Hudson are morons, you don’t realize her being here is hard on both Brooke and me” I say with my back to him once again.

Rex sighs “Hudson thought they could stay here, he didn’t realize that this was going to be an issue as it was in the past, before Brooke. I wasn’t all too keen on it” he says, I can hear his footsteps behind me but before I can react, Rex turns me around and holds my waist as he pushes me against the nearby wall.

I’m pinned between Rex and the wall.

I growl “Get off……” I start to say but Rex slams his mouth on mine, he k****s me hard but as soon as he moves away I was to slow to react.

I glare at him “Why would you do that?” I shout, but his finger goes to my mouth and stops me talking “Daisy, you are my mate, I don’t want anyone else. I will stay away from Amy and I will prove to you that you are the only woman I want baby” he says as he leans over me, his mouth hoovers mine “I’ve missed you to god damn much, I wanted to talk to you as soon as you got back but you have been ignoring me.”

I glare but his eyes change, I can see Sid his wolf comes through. My wolf hums inside my head as she sees her mate through my head “Human mate, we love you” he says and places a k**s on my mouth which when he leaves my lips, I’m left panting but Sid moves back “Stupid human was an i***t” he says “But he changed for mate.”

With that Sid goes back and Rex is pushed forward looking back at me “Can you forgive this stupid i***t babe?” He says which makes me laugh “I promise I won’t go anywhere near Amy unless I am with you or Shane, I promise” he says pleading with me.

I look at him and sigh “I will give you this one chance Rex but you f**k up once and I will rip your throat out” I say.

Rex looks back at me “Well, I will make sure I listen to my mate” he says and places his lips on mine and moves his hands to my waist and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around his waist.

He moves away as he pushes me up against the wall panting for breath “I will make sure I don’t do anything baby but one thing” he says and k****s the corner of my mouth “Please don’t leave me again.”

We both make sure we get out of the little room as quickly as we could and run straight out of the pack house heading in the direction through the forest that Hudson left with Brooke with Rex leading the way.

Suddenly a mind link comes through to both of us “YOU NEED TO HURRY, WE ARE OUT NUMBERED” roars Hudson.

We run as fast as we can to get to them both, I hope we are not too late.
