The Arrangement

Losing a mate is the worst thing to ever happen to a wolf. The pain is unbearable, to the point that many werewolves kill themselves. So what happens when an Alpha and an Alpha's sister lose theirs? During the first Rogue War, an Alpha and Alpha's sister both lost their mates. from then on, they threw themselves into their work, doing everything in their power to keep themselves busy, to keep their minds off the one they lost. However, when rogues start to become a problem once more and packs start to fall apart, an arrangement is struck. Madeline would mate with the mateless Alpha. Their union would provide warriors for her pack and stability for Emerson's. Their union, however, was not a smooth one. Not in the least. There are betrayal and heartache, and most of all, love.
