Lycan Prince Hunter

Going to get Kailen something to eat turned into a nightmare as soon as I stepped off the last step onto the main floor. Everyone had questions about something and then I was told one alpha we were expecting would arrive earlier than expected. Sighing, I pulled out my phone to call Zach to ask him to bring something to Kailen. After insuring me he was on it, I ended the call and went back to everyone's questions.

Alpha Ivan and his son Eli Cooper from the Dark Shadow pack were arriving early, and I was feeling anxious about their arrival. This alpha was the one I was most worried about. His son and Kailen didn't start out on great terms and I could tell that he came from a pack that showed little respect to women.

"Baby, Zach is bringing you something to eat. Alpha Ivan and his some Eli from Dark Shadow are arriving earlier than expected." I mind linked her.

"I'll be ready. Give me an hour." She answered.

After making sure all the rooms were ready, and that dinner was going to be ready on time. And all the staff and warriors had their orders. I made my way to the front door to meet the alpha.

"Kailen, you ready?" I linked her.

"I'll be right there." She answered.

A staff member opened the door and the Alpha, his son, his beta and the beta's son all entered the foyer.

"Alpha Ivan, it's good to see you." I greeted the alpha, shaking his hand. It surprised me he didn't bring his Luna with him.

Kailen, walking down the stairs behind me, was a wonderful interruption.

"Damn," I heard Eli say before turning around to face my mate, as she walked down the stairs in a silver-sequin fitted dress with three-quarter sleeves. The dress fell above her knees and the cut was dangerously low, exposing more cleavage than I would like. Her hair was curled in waves and her make-up was done to perfection as she made her way down to stand next to me.

"Damn, baby." I linked her, and she gave me a smile.

"Kailen Steele, I presume." Alpha Ivan said, sticking out his hand.

"Alpha Ivan, it's nice to finally meet you. Your son is such a pleasure to have in my class," Kailen said, shaking his hand. I was standing next to her, with my hand on her lower back.

"I heard he lost to you in training." The alpha said.

"Not a loss. Your son is an excellent warrior and you should be proud." She said, trying to keep the peace.

"Mr. Cooper, it's good to see you." She greeted his son, shaking his hand.

"Miss Steele, you're killing it in that dress." Eli told her, and I was about to growl until Zach came up behind us and whistled.

"Damn Kailen," he exclaimed.

"Gamma Zach, why don't you show the Alpha, Beta and their sons to their rooms." I told him and he gave me a smirk.

"Of course, Prince Hunter," he said.

"We'll see you all at dinner," I told them.

"Bye guys." Kailen said to her students before I led her out of the foyer.

Kailen's heels clicked on the marble floor as I pulled her along until I found the library. I knew no one was in there as I opened the door, pulling Kailen inside with me. Closing the door behind her, I pushed her up against the door before locking it. "What are you wearing?" I asked her, and she grinned up at me.

"I'm playing the part of the good little princess." She purred and my c**k twitched to life a she smirked at me.

Grabbing onto her hips, I crushed my lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around my neck, licking my bottom lip. I thrusted my tongue into her mouth, tasting every inch while her tongue played with mine. Pulling away, we were both panting as I rested my forehead against hers.

"You look beautiful, baby." I breathed out, and she smiled.

"But you shouldn't have walked down the stairs alone." I told her and she pouted.

"There are warriors on every landing. I was perfectly safe." She answered.

"How are you feeling?" I asked her.

"Like I want you to rip this dress off and f**k me against this door." She purred before running her tongue up my neck.

"f**k, baby." I groaned, squeezing her hips.

"You want to go upstairs?" She whispered in my ear, causing me to shiver. My phone rang in my pocket and I cursed the son of a b***h who was interrupting me with my queen.

"I guess I'll be your dessert." She said, kissing my cheek.

Groaning, I pulled my phone out of my pocket to see that Greyson was calling. Noticing the time, it was almost time for another alpha to arrive.

"Greyson?" I answered.

"First, Kailen is with you, right?" He rushed out.

"Yes, why? What happened?" I asked him.

"Nothing, I was just making sure," he said.

"Are you calling me just to check up on Kailen?" I asked him.

"Well, it's not like she can hide her phone in that dress." He chuckled, and I groaned.

"Another Alpha is arriving, so get your a*s to the foyer. And Thomas and Cathy should arrive shortly." Greyson said before ending the call.

"Come on, my naughty princess. We have more guests to greet before dinner." I said, pecking her lips. She turned around and rubbed her a*s into my still hard c**k.

"That wasn't nice." I growled in her ear as I grabbed her hips.

"You can punish me after dinner, my king." She said, looking over her shoulder at me. She licked her lips.

Grabbing her hands, I pushed them above her head as I pushed my chest against her back, pinning her to the door. She has been like this for the past week and it's been great. But having all these alphas around will not make this easy for me. Kailen's dress has my mark on full display, but her scent has changed with her pregnancy. Zach and Greyson have told me they have even noticed it and their wolves seem to be more on edge around her.

I didn't tell her because I didn't want her to worry, but Rex wanted me to rub my body and scent all over her to claim her. She is carrying our pup and our mark, but that wasn't enough for my wolf.

Her rubbing her a*s into me pulled me from my thoughts as she let out a soft moan.

"Do you want to take me upstairs or go meet our guests?" She breathed out. Pulling up her dress, I exposed her a*s cheeks before I smacked one of them with a loud cracking sound. Kailen's gasp turned into a moan as my hand kneaded over the mark I had just given her.

"Hunter." She moaned out, and I leaned into her neck.

"When this event is over, we are going to the beach house." I whispered, licking her neck. She shivered as goosebumps covered her body.

Pulling down her dress, I let go of her hands before unlocking the door. Kailen turned around to kiss me before we walked out to the foyer to meet the alpha and his party that were already waiting for us. This was going to be a long evening, I thought, as I greeted everyone and a staff member, then showed them to their rooms.

Most of the alphas were bringing their betas with them. And some of them were also bringing their sons to the event. There was only one more alpha after Thomas and Cathy. Then the rest would arrive tomorrow morning or early afternoon. Those who had further to travel are arriving tonight.

As soon as Cathy entered the foyer, she wrapped Kailen in a hug. Thomas came up behind his sister and I shook his hand.

"Kailen, you look stunning. And look at that ring." Cathy exclaimed, holding Kailen's hand in hers.

"Cathy, Alpha Thomas, it's so good to see you both." She greeted them. She gave Thomas a hug, which he returned.

"Alpha Thomas, I'm surprised they invited you to this event." Alpha Ivan said behind us. Turning around, he was standing on the first landing with his son.

"Alpha Ivan, Alpha Thomas and his sister Cathy are here as my guests." I told him and he nodded.

"I didn't realize this was a social event," he commented.

"It's not," Alpha Thomas growled out, and Kailen grabbed his hand. Which did not go unnoticed by Alpha Ivan.

"Miss Steele, I can see why you handed over your pack without a challenge." Alpha Ivan said to my mate.

"Mr. Cooper, would you like to explain to your father why I was legally allowed to hand over my pack without an official challenge?" She asked his son, and Eli cleared his throat.

"When the death of the alpha wasn't because of an official challenge but in the act of a crime, the new unofficial alpha can hand over the pack to someone ranked within the pack. And in this case, Alpha Thomas was the beta of Kailen's father of Opal Mountain." Eli answered her. "Very good, Mr Cooper." Kailen praised him.

"You discussed this with your students?" Alpha Ivan asked her.

"They asked me about it and I told them the truth. I don't lie to my students. When I can't answer their questions, I say no comment." She told him.

"Interesting. Well, I guess we will see you all at dinner. Come along, son." Alpha Ivan said before he left the room with Eli.

I noticed Kailen was shaking as she watched the alpha leave. Thomas wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her close, kissing her temple.

"It's okay, Kailen. He can't hurt you." Thomas whispered to her, and she nodded, still watching where the alpha exited the room. Finally, she snapped out of it, shaking her head.

"Hunter, is there a place where we can all talk in private?" she asked me and I nodded. Taking Kailen's hand, I led them to the library that Kailen and I were just in before they arrived. "Baby, are you okay?" I asked her through the link.

"I get a bad feeling from that alpha." She answered.

Once the door to the library closed, Cathy wrapped Kailen in another hug. She had tears in her eyes as she held onto my mate.

"Congratulations, Kailen. I'm so happy for you both." She gasped out, pulling away. I could tell that Kailen was confused.

"On the engagement?" Kailen asked her and she shook her head.

"On the pregnancy. How far along are you?" Cathy said and Kailen gasped, looking at me, shocked.

"Wait, how do you know?" I asked her.

"Her scent and aura have changed. Kailen's mother's did the same when she was pregnant with Kailen," Thomas answered.

"But yours is much stronger," Cathy said.

"Hunter, do you think anyone else has noticed?" Kailen asked me, and I could hear her panic.

"Kailen, it's okay. We noticed because we were around your mother. The others will think it's because you are marked and mated to the prince," Thomas said, and Kailen let out a breath. "Don't worry Kailen, Thomas and I will let nothing happen to you or your child." Cathy told her.

"Thank you, Cathy. I've missed you so much." Kailen said with tears in her eyes.

"Don't cry, sweetie. You'll ruin your makeup." Cathy told her and she giggled.

"Please, keep the news to yourself. It's still early." I told them and they both nodded.

"Does the king know?" Thomas asked me.

"He's excited to be a grandpa." I told him.

"Do you know what you are having?" Cathy asked, and Kailen shook her head.

"I want it to be a surprise." She told them.

"And I'm just happy," I said, wrapping my arms around her waist from behind.

My phone chimed in my pocket, and I knew another alpha had arrived.

"They need us in the foyer." I told Kailen, not even bothering to pull my phone out.

Kailen walked out with Cathy, and Thomas stopped me at the door. Looking around, he leaned in before whispering.

"Her scent and aura is much stronger than her mother's was. You need to keep her safe."
