Lunch time.

Oliver and I walked inside the cafeteria for our lunch. We meet the new transfer student, Roy, already seated with a lot of girls trifling with him. It makes me recall the time I meet Aiden and Ethan in the cafeteria. There were also many girls surrounding them flirting, some are sitting on their laps. We took the empty seat beside him. Roy was nothing but a definition of a Playboy. He keeps flirting with the girls.

"Why did you keep staring at that new guy? Oliver asks?

"You mean Roy? Do you see the way he is flirting back with those girls? It's so annoying, he keeps making me remember the day I first meet Aiden and Ethan in the cafeteria with a lot of girls flirting with them. Giggling. She beamed.

"Why are you laughing (confusion) I scrutinized?

"Don't tell me you were jealous back then, come to think of it, did you not tell me you don't love them, she sneers?

"For the very first time I met them, I feel like I have known them in my entire life. It was love at the first sight. I finally admitted blushing.

"It is indeed a good thing to be in love, and I hope I replace my loved one soon, someone who will love me. Someone who we will both share our dreams together, she muttered.

"I pray, and I can't wait for you to meet your soulmate, Oliver. I let out, ok, let's eat our food before it gets cold.

"OK sister, she responded as she scours her spoon into her food.

After lunch, we walked Into the next class we were having together. School is finally over. It's time to go home.

"Sister, let's go, my little sister brandished my hand.

I smile at the sight of her face. She is always excited to hold me.

"OK, let's go, sweetie.

We both walked down the hallway and toward the school car park.

"Ah. Sister, can you wait for me here? I forgot something inside my locker, Oliver asserted.

"OK, I will be right here waiting for you. Go and be fast with whatever you want to do. I reply.

"Thank you, sister. I'll be right back, she said, as she run rapidly towards her locker, leaving me.

A few minutes pa*s.

"What is keeping her so long" I mutter to myself. I notice someone walking up to me. I assumed it was my sister. But I got disgruntled when I got to know it was the new boy, Roy. He's walking toward me, what for? He stops in front of me.

"Hi, I am Roy, he said as he stretched out his hand.

"Hey, I am Ava. I replied as I took his hand, friend shaking him.

"Nice to meet you, Ava. I am new in town and school" he uttered, bringing up a conversation.

"How is your stay in town so far? I asked him.

"It was just so so, I don't have any friends to chat with, and it was boring as hell. He replied, feeling disheartened.

"I am sure you will have lots of friends soon in school, I can notice many girls already be your friend. I told him.

"Oh, you mean those girls, none of them truly want to be my friend. They were only with me because they think I am hot, he sadly says.

"You never can tell. Some of them can genuinely want to be your friend".

"I don't think so. At the school I was going to before I got transferred here, none of them truly like me or wants to be friends with me. They were all liars and pretenders. Well, I am used to it now. He grumbled. "Oh, I am sorry to hear that" pitying him.

"Oh, stop that Ava, stop pitying me, trust me. I am used to girls following me around and guys fighting me because of those girls, he said.

"Can we be friends? He suddenly asked.

"Friends? Why? I asked? You just said no one wants to be your friend.

"I have the feeling you will be my friend genuine without a hidden agenda," He said

"OK, we can be friends. I told him feeling guilty as if I am cheating on my boyfriend's why am I feeling like this? I never cheated.

"Thank you," he said smiley.

Oliver walks up to us.

"Sister, who is this? She asks, pretending not to know him.

"Oh, this is Roy" I introduce Roy, this is my little sister Oliver.

"Hi, Oliver, Roy greeted her, but she ignores him.

"Let's go, sister, she said as she dragged me away from him.

"Olivia, don't be rude. I told my sister.

"Sister, are you siding with that stranger? Are you choosing him over me? She said with a shaky voice. She's about to spurt.

"No, no, not like that, I am not picking anyone over you. You will always be my little sister forever. I am only correcting you, the way you ignore him when he is only trying to be friendly with you, It was rude. You should have greeted him back. "I don't like him, sister. She screeched out.

"I never told you to like him. I am only rectifying you. I am your sister. Remember" I shot back at her.

"I don't like him. I don't want him to be friendly with me and I don't want you to be friends with him, she said.

"You don't want me to be friends with him. Huh, but why, I am confused?

"Because I don't like him, she answered back.

"Just because you don't like him. You were never like this. You were behaving as if you guys were foe in your past lives. What is wrong, sister? Tell me? I asked.

"Nothing, nothing, Sister, I just don't like him. She answered.

"OK, let's not fight over a stranger. Let's go. I told her, giving up.

"Thank you sister, but remember, don't be friends with him. She reminds me again.

"OK, pass me the car keys, I am driving, I mumbled.

The next day in school.

I am having class alone without Oliver. When the class is over, Roy walks towards me, leaving the girls who swam around him just to talk to me.

"Hey, how are you? He asked.

"Hi, I am good, you? I asked.

"Well, I am also good. I am happy I got someone to talk to in the school. He smiles.

"That is somewhat nice. And who is the lucky one? I asked him.

"Wow, are you kidding me? He asked, did you not accept to be my friend yesterday? Who else will I be talking of if it was not you?

"Oh, I am sorry. My bad. I apologize, just as he was about to bring up a discussion between us, Oliver walks in.

"Sister, she dubbed. What is he doing here, she asks. Scrutinizing Roy.

"Don't be rude, honey. He is my friend, and also we received lectures together.

"But sister, I don't like him. You know I don't want you to be his friend. She cried out, stay away from my sister, or else you won't like what I am going to do to you. She threatens Roy. Don't mess with me. My sister is not one of those bitches you flirt with. I know you have a hidden plan, that's why you approach her. But trust me, I am going to probe it out. Stay far away from Ava, imprint that to your dumb skull". She said, using her finger to touch his head.

"Oh my God, Oliver had never behaved like this before. Why is she worked up? What is wrong? Why did she hate him to the core? She was never like this to Aiden and Ethan. She was never like this, when they even left without saying bye. What went wrong? She is acting like a total stranger.

"What is wrong? Why are you so rude, why? I asked her.

"Sister, I don't like him. I hate him" she cried out and don't even think you can get to my sister. N-no, no f*****g way, you can never get closer to her, with me here beside her.

"Roy. Oh, no. I am so sorry, I don't know what came over her. Trust me, she was never like this, and she's a good girl. I'm sorry I apologize on her behalf.

"Sister, enough. Why are you apologizing to him? Leave that man-whore alone. Let's go, she said, dragging me away.

Roy standpoint.

Man whore? She called me that disgusting name. I have never been so embarrassed or humiliated by any lady before in my entire life. She is the first female that dared to chastise me. Interesting. I must get her. I must break her wings. I must break her, and I will do anything just to get her. She arouses my interest in her. I only want to be friends with Ava because I can sniff a familiar scent on her. I would like to know who that smell belongs to between them.

Comes to think of it. That female abhors me so much. But why? Am I not handsome and hot enough? She is the only one who dares to stare at me with disgust in her gazes. I must teach her a lesson.
