Caliana's POV

The car stopped not far in a clearing that had two huge tents and Ron opened the door for me. I got out and scanned the area. Apart from the two old tents, there are two fireplaces. The only thing protecting them is a small fence made of grass and an animal large "Where is everyone?" I wondered, glancing at my frowning driver.

enough can break it down.

Mr. Tim got out of the van and the two guards were next to us, surveying the location.

'They are close,' I received a mind link from one of the guards.

"We are only here to help!" I called out, and a few seconds later, two men and the woman, Kareen, appeared. She smiled and they bowed

"Luna, we weren't expecting you," She said. I approached them.

"I've brought some supplies for you, I know it's not much but I hope it can help," I said and they smiled, four men and women my age appeared, and a few followed until they were dozen of them, men, children, woman, and seniors, they didn't look too healthy. "We don't know what to say," The man stuttered.

"Thank you," He said with a smile on his face.

"Can you please unload the goods we brought for them," I asked the two Lycan guards, they hesitated when I remembered they have to shift and that will require clothes.

"Guys, I have pairs of shorts in the car, follow me," Ron said,

"We'll help," Four young men volunteered and went to the van with Mr. Tim. As they unloaded the boxes, Kareen and the others started to unpack them and distribute what they could. While a few ladies started the fire to cook, others were getting utensils. I went to the kids, I've always had a soft spot for children. They were playing all sorts of games with only one woman watching over them.

"Hello," I greeted the woman, she stood up from a wooden chair and bowed to me.

"Luna,"

"How many kids are there?"

"Sixteen," They were all of the different ages and played according to their age group. The lady's name is Olivia, she was tall and pretty with natural red hair and she was a school teacher before she went rogue and joined this group. I wanted to ask about their background or how they ended up being rogues but I didn't want to pry. In our community Rogues are considered as the low class, they have no pack, power, or money. Some are born as rogues but others are banished by their packs.

Olivia smiled at me, she had a lovely smile that suited her bright soft pretty face," I know you want to ask so go ahead, after what you've done for us, I can give you that,"

"Where are you from and why did you choose to stay close to the "Golden Stone Pack?"

"Our circumstances are different, I for one was defiled by the Alpha's son, and when I reported it, no one believed me and I was demoted and mistreated so I left the pack after my eighteenth birthday, I found Kareen caring for six children alone, her pack was burned to ashes in a war for dominion, and the others just joined us along the way," She explained.

"Believe it or not, The "Golden Stone Pack is the only one that didn't chase us from their territory, they are skeptical of us and watch us like hawks to see we don't cause any trouble but they even allow us to at least inside their gates and markets, sometimes even give us medical care which is what we most need after the influenza outbreak in our young ones,"

"Have you tried to talk to the Alpha, maybe he can replace you a place to stay inside, and who knows, some of you can replace jobs and the kids can go to school," I advised.

"No, we wouldn't want to overstep. Honestly, Luna, us staying here is enough, no one can attack because we are so close to the fiercest pack," Kareen was walking toward us now.

"But you can't stay here forever, you need more," I insisted.

"We hunt, and do what we can... Besides, the Alpha is too busy to even speak to any of us, I tried to ask in the past but we couldn't get past the first office," She sighed. After having a chat with the two women, Kareen holds both my hands and bends down to kiss each.

"May you always be blessed and I'm... we are so overwhelmed that you even came, thank you so much," She croaked, and I wiped her tears away.

"You're welcome, I wish I can do more,"

"You've done so much, Luna Caliana," The man came too.

'Where are you?' I jumped at the Alpha's voice in my head. He was angry.

'I'm at the border, with the strays,'

'You can't f*****g leave the pack grounds!' He growled, and I decided to block him out, I could feel he still wanted to talk.

I bid everyone good night and they thanked me, I quickly got in the car and left the place before my mate marched here to cause chaos.

"Olivia is really cute, do you think-" Ron stopped talking and stopped the car abruptly, if I wasn't wearing a seatbelt, I would have hit my head against the front seat. Ron worriedly looked at me

"Are you alright?" He asked, worried.

"Yes, what happened,"

"The Alpha,"
