POV

Edward carried me in his arms and my legs wrapped around his torso, he pressed me against one of the tall trees. My fingers roamed him back and my moans escaped my lips. Before I knew it, we were both on the ground next to the lake and he entered me, he passionately began to thrust in and out of me, I knew that I was whole, I was moaning softly and meeting his pace with the soft movements of my hips. Our fingers interlocked as we made love, each time we did, was better than the last. My free hand clutched him and tears fell down my cheeks, tears that he kissed away. I was born to love Edward. I needed this man like I needed air. We didn't start on a friendly note but we both evolved and grew, he touched my soul without him knowing and I was here to stay, he was my home, my true home. I felt a knot in my stomach as I cried out my release and soon, he reached his goal. He switched our position so I was on top of him and we embraced so tightly. I was crying at the happiness I felt.

My love for him overwhelmed every part of me and I didn't know what to do but cry, I've never cried because I wanted and loved someone this much. All this was new to me. He didn't utter a single word, he just held me. I felt like I met someone I'd been waiting for all my life.

I closed my eyes and slept, feeling safe in his arms.

My eyes fluttered open and I was still on top of Edward, he smiled at me, and kissed my head.

"Good Morning,"

"Morning," I mumbled, trying to get off me but he held me tightly into his arms.

"We need to go," I laughed. I'm sure everyone was wondering where we ran off to by now.

"It's still so early, let's stay a little longer," He begged and I kissed him on the lips. He finally gave in and we walked hand in hand to the cabin. We wore them before going inside. After a long shower and rounds of s*x. I was sitting in front of my vanity table, braiding my hair when he thought he could do a better job. I didn't object as I wanted to see him fail but to my surprise, he made the perfect cornrows.

"Where did you learn to do that?" I gasped, touching the corn rolls.

"I have a little girl who thinks braids are cute. I had to learn, and when we have princess tea parties, she expects me to do it," He chuckled. "Princess parties? You're an Alpha," I giggled.

"Tell Love that, the kid doesn't care and puts makeup on my face," He said. I laughed at that. I couldn't imagine this man drinking tea in small cups and letting someone put makeup on his face.

I went down to the kitchen to make breakfast for everyone.

"Should I help?" Edward asked and I nodded.

We made pancakes, eggs, and sausages for all, and even made toast since it was his favorite. The others came downstairs and took their place, they were so happy to see we made so much food! We exchanged pleasantries and sat down to eat.

"Where did you go last night?" Garret asked.

"We went running," I answered. They gave us knowing looks and I frowned

"What?"

"Nothing, we are just pleased," Jamal said.

We spent two more days at the cabin before going back to the pack, it was just as we left and by now, the celebrations were over and everyone was back to their duties.

Today I received an email from the Lunas, Kelly, Carol, and Hope, they wanted us to have a spa date. I didn't want to go but decided to join them.

As soon as I met them, they asked me questions about my private love life and for the first time, I was more than willing to share what was happening with my mate. The ladies were looking at me with smiles on their lips and I wondered if they considered me part of their friendship group.

"Luna Caliana, we are so happy for you and you deserve it," Luna Carol said.

"Oh yes, you are the most fortunate woman, two powerful Alphas are claiming you," Kelly clapped in excitement and I frowned when my thoughts led me to Alpha Dean, he has tried to contact me many times but I decline however, I feel like I should talk to him soon and tell him to forget about me, I can't leave my mate for him.

I spent the rest of the hours chatting with the girls, and we were now on our fifth bottle of wine. And when the time came to leave, I was surprised it was my mate that came to pick me up, he was wearing a suit and looked so powerful and intimidating. "Hello, Ladies," He greeted them and their eyes bulged as they responded, he bent down to kiss my lips deeply and they cheered lowly. I looked back at the Lunas and smiled,

"My ride's here, have a lovely evening, ladies," I said suggestively, touching Edward's necktie. They giggled, knowing what I was implying in my ride is here. Edward, his arms were wrapped around my waist as we went to the car. All this was surreal to me, I didn't think in my wildest imagination that Edward would be this romantic towards me, it is true that a man will treat you like a queen when he truly wants you.

"I didn't know they were your real friends," He said, opening the car door for me.

"They are," I confirmed. He started the engine.

"I just didn't think they were your type of friends, I know you all are Lunas but it's not required to be friends with them,"

"I know but I like them,"

Edward raised an eyebrow at me in surprise. "What?"

"I didn't think they are your type of friends," He admitted

"And what is my type?" I c****d a brow.

"I don't know, the intelligent nerdy kind, the first time I saw you interact with them, you cringed more than I could count and the last you were getting them drunk for information," He pointed.

"I can be friends with the cool girls,"

"What's this? Living your high school dream?" He chuckled and I slapped his shoulder. He was right in some way, I wasn't exactly popular and only hung out with Levy and his gay friends. It felt good hanging out with the Lunas. Edward observed me for a while and I admitted "Fine! I wasn't, Miss Popular in school but I do like those ladies,"

"I bet,"

"I'm sure everyone hovered around you, Mr. Popular," I poked him with my finger.

"Yes, everyone put me on a pedal stool," He answered arrogantly. He flashed me his white teeth in a smile.

As I was getting in bed, I remembered I had to visit the doctor soon. I recently told him to run some tests on me.
