Chapter 95

_Katrina's POV_

Silas grabbed my wrist, pulling me along with him. "Where are you taking me?" I asked, rushing up behind him.

Silas ignored me as he pulled me up the staircase, his grip on my wrist tightened. I couldn't feel the blood flow on my fingers but I couldn't say anything about that.

I watched as the doors passed in a blur as he pulled me along. We stopped in front of a dark door and he pushed the door open, pulling me in.

The door clicked shut behind us, and I felt the weight of the night's events pressing on my chest.

"Why am I in your room?" I asked, staring around his room.

It was surprising because I don't think I've ever been here before.

"Silas?" I called out, turning to look at him.

Silas hadn't said a word since we left the hall, his jaw tight. His grip on me was firm but it wasn't as tight as it was before.

I stood awkwardly near the bed, unsure of what to do or say, as he leaned against the door staring at me with an unreadable expression.

"Uhmm..." I trailed off, rubbing my elbow. This was getting to weird and his stares was getting intense.

"I don't think you realize what you did back there," he said finally, his voice low but laced with something darker. It seemed as if it took everything in him not to bite my head off. "Do you

have any idea how reckless that was?"

Do I know? Maybe I didn't at that moment. But I didn't know which was more dangerous.

Being alone with Silas in his room while he stared at me with such eyes, or jumping off thr banister and trusting that Silas would catch me.

It was foolish enough for me to trust him with my life, but I know I would still do it again.

"Katrina..." Silas growled, snapping my attention back to him.

I swallowed hard, my hands fidgeting at my sides. "I-"I didn't know what to say.

"You could've died, Katrina," he interrupted, stepping closer. His presence was overwhelming, a mix of frustration and something else-something I couldn't name but felt deep in my core.

"And you didn't even think about it, did you? You never think about anything with that tiny brain of yours," he hissed, his insult slapping me in the face.

I didn't fail to realize that Silas threw insults at me whenever he got upset, insults like this.

I opened my mouth to argue, but the words got stuck in my throat. He was right; I hadn't thought. I'd just acted.

At that moment, the only thing that was on my mind was to get as far away from Chris as possible, even if it meant putting

life at risk.

my

Killing myself by jumping over the banister was better than letting any sick thought he had of me to play out.

Silas didn't give me time to respond. In two strides, he was in front of me, his hand gripping my chin and tilting my head upwards.

My lips parted in shock, my heart pounding in my chest. I wasn't expecting this sudden movement.

His eyes searched mine and for a moment, I thought he was going to scold me again. But instead, he sighed, his forehead pressing against mine.

"You drive me insane," he murmured, his voice soft now, almost vulnerable.

His hand slid down to my waist, pulling me closer until our bodies were flush. The warmth of him seeped into me, chasing away the lingering fear from earlier. "You scared me," he admitted, and my breath caught at the raw emotion in his voice.

This was the first time Silas was admitting something like this to my face and I didn't know what to feel.

But I knew what to do.

"I'm sorry," I whispered, my hands resting gently on his chest. I could feel his heart thumping under my palm and my heart raced along with his.

Silas' lips quirked into a faint smirk, but it didn't reach his eyes. There was some kind of dangerous glow to it

"You will be," he said, and before I could ask what he meant, he spun me around, his hands steadying me as he guided me toward the bed. "Silas-" I called out, feeling nervous.

"Shh," he hushed, his tone commanding but not harsh. "You trust me, don't you?"

How many times have I heard this question said in the bedroom? I was foolish enough to throw myself over a banister and expect

Silas to catch me.

So my answer was quite obvious right now.

I hesitated for a fraction of a second before nodding. "Yes."

"Good."

He grabbed something from the bedside drawer, and I felt a flicker of nerves and excitement as he returned. I could already feel thr heat pooling in between my legs.

A sign of just how attracted I was to Silas and how excited he made me.

Silas sat me on the edge of the bed and gently tilted my chin up so I was looking at him.

I stared up at him, my lips parted slightly as I breathed through them.

"Lie back," he instructed.

I obeyed, my pulse quickening as he climbed over me. He reached for my wrists, pulling them above my head and securing them together with soft restraints.

The leather was firm but didn't hurt, and the sensation sent a shiver down my spine.

It's been this way since we started doing this. He always bound me like he was afraid of me touching him or something.

But I didn't mind. Instead I found it exciting.

Before I could process what was happening, he reached for a silk blindfold, slipping it over my eyes. The world went dark, and I felt my senses heighten immediately.

"Silas..." I called out, my heart racing. I wasn't afraid. Not one bit. It was the exact opposite. Excitement coursed through my veins as I waited for what to happen next. "Relax," he murmured, his lips brushing against my ear. "You'll enjoy this."

The cool touch of earbuds pressed against my ears, and then I heard the soft hum of music. It was soothing at first, the melody lulling me into a strange sense of calm.

But then, Silas's touch began.

It started at my ankles, his fingers dragging up my legs slowly. The music drowned out everything else, but I could feel every shift of the mattress as he moved.

When his hands reached my thighs, I couldn't hold back the soft gasp that escaped my lips.

He chuckled low, the vibrations of it tickling against my skin. He was teasing me and he did it in on purpose.

I felt his breath against the sensitive skin of my inner thighs, and then-his mouth

Oh God his mouth.

The first swipe of his tongue was gentle, almost teasing, but it sent a jolt through my body. I couldn't hear him, couldn't see him only feel him. It was maddening and exhilarating all at once.

I never wanted it to stop.

His hands gripped my thighs, holding me steady as his tongue explored, each movement sending me to a point of madness and back. It was as if he was savoring every reaction I gave him and making me feel more. The music seemed to grow louder, but it couldn't drown out the way my body trembled under his touch.

He alternated between slow strokes and quicker movements, sending me to edge. My wrists tugged against the restraints, desperate to touch him but it was no use.

I needed to do something.

When his lips closed around my most sensitive spot, a cry tore from my throat, muffled by the music in my ears.

"Silas," I whimpered, my voice barely audible over the song playing.

He didn't respond-not with words, at least. Instead, he doubled down, his mouth working me over that it made my toes

curl.

My body tightened, the pleasure building to an almost unbearable level, but just when I thought I'd tip over the edge, he stopped.

I let out a frustrated groan, squirming beneath him.

I couldn't understand why he stopped, but I hated him. I was close to the edge, on the tip right before my climax and he had

to stop.

Silas laughed, the sound dark and amused. He leaned up, his breath ghosting over my lips.

"Not yet," he murmured, pulling the earbuds from my ears. "We're not done.
