Time was flying by with the “new” Trey here. Trey has been running off on his own with random girls so he has been adjusting in his own way. I have caught him making out and some other gross things, that will not be mentioned, in school and at home with these random girls. Other than Trey, everything else has not changed. Marching season was flying by. We made it to our first contest and of course that meant a lot of free time in the stands or running around waiting before and after our performance until we are given our placements. We could watch other bands, or run around and socialize; most people just socialize. I was in the bus getting money for the concession stand when Trey came on the bus.

“We need to talk.” he said as he walked towards me down the aisle to the last seat where all my stuff is at.

“What’s going on?” I asked confused and at the time trying to figure out if this was Ace or Trey. They were dressed the same today, well everyone was.

“I need to talk to you about something important. Do you know where Duncan is?” He asked a little rushed.

“N-no, he went to the bathroom. I was about to go get something to eat. What’s going on?”

“I know I have not been here long, but you shouldn’t trust Duncan as much as you are.” And after he said that I knew it was Trey.

“Did Ace put you up to this?”

“Ace? No! I feel like you should know that he is cheating on you. Even right now he is in the bathroom doing it with...”

I slapped him across the face. “Don’t make crap up just so you can get on better terms with Ace! Do you really think that saying that would make me run to Ace! I don’t even trust you, you tried to kill me... twice!” I said in an angered tone. I started to try to push past him and walk away when he grabbed my arms and pushed me up against the rear bus door.

“I am not stupid. I told you I would support you and I meant it. I know my word does not mean anything to you yet, but I wanted you to know the truth for you. You deserve better than Duncan.” after he said that he let go of my arms.

I was pissed, I went to slap him again but he caught it and pulled me into a kiss. It took me a minute to realize what was happening before I pushed him off.

“What the hell is your problem? Why did you kiss me?” He shook his head. “You can’t tell me you were not thinking about it when I had you pushed up against the back door. I read minds.”

I slapped him across the face. “You are an asshole.” I pushed past him and left him standing there.

It’s true, I was thinking about it, but at the same time I didn’t want it because I am with Duncan. He chose to read one thought out of context. I was full of mixed feelings and the kiss wasn’t bad, but I cheated on Duncan. I pulled myself together and chose to forget what happened and went on like it never did.
