"Mr. Henry, are you certain of the outcomes?”

The scientist stared at him with a light smirk curved on his face. “We can’t be certain unless we try it.” said he, in a tone full of confidence.

“It’s dangerous, Mr. Henry. It’ll put our citizens’ lives in absolute risk.”

“I assure you, they’ll be alive.”

“What if the experiment fails?”

“That would be a 1.22% possibility, Sir.”

The Mayor nodded indicating permission, “What are your requirements?” He inquired.

“An alien’s blood.”

His words left the Mayor in utter silence.

The scientist smiled knowingly thinking everything would go well.

Little did he know the world will change in a matter of a few days.
