The Second Act Revenge (Oneida and Jackson) -
The Second Act 103
Chapter 103
Dragon Souls was the most elite group of assassins in Paragon Group.
They were Jackson's most capable subordinates.
"Mr. Bane, are you sure you want Dragon Souls to go there?" Victor seemed to be a little reluctant. He furrowed his brows and disagreed with Jackson for the first time by continuing. "I don't think they're needed for this matter. It's not a big deal anyway
Jackson gave him a sideways glance with his icy cold eyes. "I won't be at ease if I send others."
"But, Mr. Bane..." Victor hesitated for a moment and finally made up his mind to express his true thoughts. "What if you get exposed after sending Dragon Souls?"
He tried to persuade Jackson by continuing. "Those people regard you as a thorn in their eyes. If they know that you have developed such a huge force, the consequences will be unthinkable. Mr. Bane, you have endured and pretended to be in a wheelchair for so many years. Do you want all of that to be in vain because of a woman?"
Jackson looked at the ground with an unclear expression.
After a moment of silence, he said lightly, "I've already thought about what you said a long time ago."
"So, even if you know that you might be exposed, you still want to send Dragon Souls there without hesitation?" Victor looked at him helplessly while feeling puzzled.
Victor knew Jackson's temperament, Jackson was a firm and persistent man.
Once the decision was made, it would be impossible to change His mind.
Victor knew that he would not be able to persuade Jackson.
Jackson raised his head slightly and said indifferently, "She suffered because of me, so I want her to come back safely no
tter what."
Victor stopped dissuading and asked in a low voice, "Is it worth it? I thought you only liked that little girl from more than tep years ago... Mrs. Bane just got married to you recently, and you don't even have deep feelings for her either. So, is it worth Jackson didn't know whether it was worth it or not.
He told Oneida that he would protect her well, but this incident happened because of him.
Jackson didn't want to say anything more. He just spat out two words coldly, "Just go."
He subconsciously closed his eyes and frowned.
"Okay." Victor had no choice but to accept.
In a dark dungeon, Oneida was soaked in cold water, and her hands were still firmly bound by iron chains.
The water had reached her neck.
However, the water level kept rising.
It was because they continuously poured bone-chilling water into the dungeon.
At first, the water level had only reached Oneida's ankles, but now, it reached her neck.

Chapter 103
In a while, Oneida would be completely submerged.
Despite that, Oneida didn't panic in such an environment.
There was no struggle and no call for help.
She looked very calm instead.
"Really? You won't say anything at all?" A man's cold voice came from outside the dungeon, carrying a long echo. Oneida lowered her head and said nothing.
Suddenly, water poured down.
They increased the amount of water and immediately submerged Oneida's head.
Water immediately entered her nose, and she couldn't help but frown.
A familiar memory appeared in her mind.
When she was seven years old, she fell into an artificial lake and got submerged in water just like now.
The cold lake water suffocated her.
Time had passed. She was no longer seven-year-old Cece, but nineteen-year-old Oneida.
She had learned how to swim and became good at holding her breath.
However, the feeling of being trapped in water still made her body stiffen.
Childhood traumas were not easy to get rid of
Water surrounded her, and she was alone.
ung man who would come to her rescue.
She wondered if there would be another brave young
At that moment, someone was running outside the dungeon.
"Boss, our secret base is under attack. The enemy is very powerful. I don't know where they came from. We can't withstand it
Someone ran over in a hurry to tell the man who interrogated Oneida
Hearing this, the man frowned in disbelief. His eyes were filled with anger. "What's going on? Who the hell is doing this?"
After thinking for a while, he decided to rush back to the base. After all, the base was much more important than staying here and interrogating Oneida. T'll go back and check on the base. Stay here and keep watch" He left with a team of people after saying that.
As soon as the man left, a group of mysterious men in black rushed in, knocked out all the people guarding the dungeon. and threw them out
All of this was merely a distraction to get rid of the man.
They attacked the base and drew the boss away
so they could break through easily.
After everyone was cleared out, the men in black spread out to both sides and left a path in the middle.

Chapter 103
Then, a tall figure slowly walked in the middle.
He was tall, handsome, cool, noble, and indifferent.
He was like a king at the top.
The man in the middle was Jackson,
He was standing upright instead of being in a wheelchair.
His legs were no different from those of normal people.
The legs were in pure black suit pants. He was also wearing a snow-white shirt, and a light-colored windbreaker was casually worn outside.
Compared with being in a wheelchair, Jackson, who was standing at the moment, seemed to have more aura and power.
He glanced at the dark dungeon with his icy-cold eyes. The man's heart tightened for a rare moment, and he immediately ordered his subordinates, "Open the dungeon and release the water."
"Yes." The well-trained subordinates would not disobey Jackson's orders and immediately rushed to the dungeon one by one.
Jackson didn't have to come here and shouldn't have come.
However, in the end, he still decided to pick Oneida up in person.
The water slowly receded.
Oneida's face gradually appeared.
Her face was pale, and her eyes were closed tightly, but her mouth seemed to be muttering about something.
Jackson hurried forward and held the girl in his arms.
The chain on her hands was immediately cut off.
Oneida was picked up by Jackson, and she held onto his windbreaker tightly while in his arms.
She seemed to sense something, and her eyes opened a little.
In the dim light, she seemed to faintly see the sharp jawline of a man.
The memory from 12 years ago suddenly came to her mind.
Oneida's heart skipped a beat, and her eyes turned red.
With her blurry eyes, she asked confusedly in a low voice, "Is that you? Are you here to save me?"
She thought that she saw the grown-up version of the young man who had once saved her life.
Jackson knew that Oneida was in a state of confusion, so he wasn't worried that she would recognize him. He just answered faintly. "It's me."
Oneida stretched out her hands and grabbed Jackson's white shirt tightly. She was about to cry as she vaguely said, "Is it you? I've been looking for you for so long. It's already been 12 years. Oneida said these words very softly and vaguely, so Jackson didn't hear her. He carried her out of the dungeon and hurried to the place where the car was parked.
