Chapter 5294

Blaine took a deep breath as if to calm the unusual throbbing of his body, before respectfully taking a step forward.

"I'm here to see you again, Aunt."

"I told you many times, Blaine. I'm a monk now. You may call me Master Mograine."

The monk turned around before glancing at Blaine with an annoyed look. She was glaring fiercely, but her eyes were still a captivating gaze.

Blaine smiled.

"You'll always be my aunt. It doesn't matter if you're a monk or not. This place is yours to stay for as long as you want.

Master Morgraine chuckled, then rubbed Blaine's head.

"It's been a while since you came here. Is something troubling you?"

"Not only are you one of the four elders of the Immortal Pavilion, but you're also a miracle doctor who even countless wealthy families couldn't get," Blaine said.

"It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that you have a high status. With my identity, I wouldn't dare show up all the time! You might just hate me if I come too much!" he added. "You've been a smooth talker since you were a child. Who knows how many women's hearts have you taken at this point?" Master Mograine said after chuckling.

"Speak. What trouble did you get yourself into this time?"

"Can't I just visit my aunty without a reason?" Blaine said.

Master Mograine flicked her finger on his forehead.

"I've been taking care of you since you were a baby. Why are you still hiding anything from me now?

"Hmm? Hold on..."

Master Mograine could see Blaine's makeup. She quickly raised Blaine's hand, then put her fingers on his wrist.

"What happened? Has someone hit you in the face?! You're the John family's young master!"

Rage appeared on Master Mograine's face.

She was a monk, an outsider of the family, but she couldn't just watch her favorite nephew suffer!

Blaine chuckled bitterly.

"Since you can tell, then I'll just stop pretending...

"I hit myself in the face. I didn't hold back, either. I wouldn't dare. I held ice over my face for an entire night before coming here. I thought I could hide it from you, but it doesn't seem like the case now..." Master Mograine's face darkened instantly. "Who forced you to do this?!"

Blaine shook his head.

"Don't ask, Aunt. Everything was my fault. I hit myself in the face; I groveled in front of a dead man, too. I did everything to myself. It's all in the past now. You don't have to pursue the matter." Blaine sounded as if he was actually admitting to his faults.

However, everything he said made Master Mograine's face darker and darker.

Blaine continued speaking as if he didn't realize the change on her face.

"I came to ask for your help.

"I offended the representative of the country's Martial Arts Alliance. He's a hero, and it was my fault that he was offended as well.

"I want to bury the hatchet with him."
