As night began to fall in, a burning began to make itself present in mylower abdomen. I guess this was it. I was going to loose my wolf.

I let our a soft groan of pain, as the burning became more intense. Ihad to keep it in. I have to do this.

Soon hours passed and the burning began to cool off. I let out a sigh ofrelief as I settled down and everything felt normal .

Dawn fell upon us and soon Bailey came in a dagger in her hand. Wasshe seriously going to take the life of my baby just for her selfishneeds?

“It's time Colleen, so I suggest you let go of the child and I will makethis less painful.” I looked towards Mt fatger, his eyes shut; did he justtake my wolf not keeping his end of the DEAL? I felt like a fool.

That bastard! He is such an asshole. How could he had done this? Whywas I so stupid?

Soon Bailey headed towards me as she tried pulling Sydney our of myhand. Reese yelled at her, telling her to let go, but she was determined,determined to fulfill her selfish needs.

As my hand slipped of my dear Sydney I watched as bailey turned heraround by her feet, her sweet cry into that if fear. My heart shook andmy heartstrings pulled. Was I really going to loose my child?

Soon a banging on the door caught everyone's attention and soon thedoor was kicked over. My eyes filled with tears of relief as I watched Mybrother Daniel and a few pack warriors came to the rescue.

I couldn't have been more relieved than in that moment. We weresaved this was finally over. Sydney was soon place into my hand and awash of happiness overcame my body.

“My beloved Sydney.” I held her close. We've been through so muchAnd yet were still here, being given the greatest blessings in life.

Soon Reese was let out of the chains we were up and standing. I'venever been more grateful.

“Out deal is complete. And I've gotten what I've been after. So farewelldear daughter.” my dear father said before disappearing into thin air.

I turned to Reese as he came to me, pulling me into a tight embrace.Our daughter between us. He placed a tender kiss on my forehead andpulled us close. Sydney let out a sequel of delight.

Soon Reese's attention was on her. Cooing her and making her smile.Making her bug brown eyes sparkle in enjoyment.

“How are you feeling?” I questioned him. He looked at me a smile onhis face.

“I got my wolf back, but at a price.” he said. Making my eyes widen.“You didn't think I'd replace out? Colleen why would you do something likethat? And right after I asked you not to!” he yelled making me flinch.

“I know what u did was wrong, but believe me Reese, there isn'tanything in the world I wouldn't do for you. It broke me to see you likethat, empty.” I said as my voice began cracking.

“How do you think I'll feel seeing you broken, did you think of myfeelings?” he questioned as rears began to brim. My eyes.

“I'm sorry, but I'd rather see myself die than see you like that everagain.” I sad to him.

“But now you've broken my trust. So is it better see me like this ratherthan seemed empty?” he asked as he walked off.

Honestly I knew it was a bad idea from the start, but I just had to do it. Ijust had to make sure we were okay. I just had to make sure Reese wasnever going to feel that way. So what if he’s angry? I would do it overand over again if it meant saving him a thousand times.

After all I'm in love with him.
