Leia's eyes widened and she shrieked, "Oh, I knew it was you! You're a kidnapper and a pervert!Where are you keeping Ren? Let her go!" She had suspected Jovan from the beginning because it wasa well-known fact that he had ulterior motives toward Renee. Renee had even lived abroad with Jovanfor half a year away from others. He probably couldn't bear being separated from Renee so hekidnapped her again.

"Yes, I did take her, but I don't plan to let her go. What I can tell you is that she's doing fine, and I'll trymy best to make her better. Please leave if that's all you have to say." Jovan's expression wasmenacing. If not for the fact that Leia was Renee's best friend, he would have made her suffer.

"How can you be so arrogant after kidnapping someone?! Listen-I'm not leaving until I get what I camehere for. I'll even set this place on fire if that's the only way I'll get Renee back!” Leia snarled, grippingJovan's arm tightly and refusing to let him go.

"Let go!" Jovan had met all kinds of people before, but this was the first time he had met someone thisrelentless. It frustrated him. "If you don't let go, I'll rough you up. I'm no gentleman, and I'm not afraid tobeat up women.

"I'm not some kind of weak woman you can easily scare off. You can beat me up, and I can do thesame to you. In short... I won't let you go if you don't let her go!" Leia gripped Jovan's arm firmly andrefused to let go.

Stuck in their stalemate, Jovan anxiously checked the time. The general meeting was about to startsoon. He clenched his fist, wanting to punch Leia.

"Stop!" A voice roared from behind them. They turned around just as Xavier stepped forward andpunched Jovan's chin. "Don't you dare touch her!"

Jovan staggered slightly, but Leia still refused to let his arm go. It vexed him greatly and he snapped atXavier, "Control your woman, Mr. Stuart, she's making a scene! I'll sue her if she keeps this up!" "I'mnot letting go. Go ahead and call the cops; I'll just ask them to arrest you!" Leia was surprised to seeXavier, but she couldn't speak to him because she was scared Jovan would run away if she let go ofhim. "Help me catch him, Xavier, he has Ren! Don't let him get away!" Leia yelled at Xavier.

A vein popped in Jovan’s forehead, and he bellowed, "You clowns had better not delay me! I'm doingthis for Renee, and if she misses this chance, she might be blind forever!"

Caught in a dilemma, Xavier looked at Leia and Jovan. He didn't know who to listen to-both of themjust wanted the best for Renee.

"You're just messing with us! Ren will be in the dark forever with you around her. You're just a pervert,and nobody knows what crazy things you've done to her! Oh, I don't want to imagine it... I can't let Renstay with you!" Leia became furious just thinking about it, and without warning, lowered her head andbit Jovan's wrist.
