◄SUBCONSCIENCE►

It was a blur—the feeling of seeing you in the midst of this unfamiliar crowd.

The outlines of your back entered my vision as I briskly walked behind you. I could’ve sworn it was you, but at the same time, it wasn’t, or rather it was my subconscience playing tricks on me—wishing it were you even if the impossible has never happened.

I haven’t fully moved on, because traces of you still haunt me to this day; but it’s okay. I’m doing fine. Okay is enough. Okay is what you and I will be tomorrow. At least, I hope.
