Unclaimed Luna’s Desire -
Chapter 14 Something is Strange
Ellie's POV:
When I woke up, my legs and waist were especially tired, and I felt a hot, painful sensation in my vagina. Additionally, my throat felt as though it had been strangled.
This feeling was not like being beaten, but more like the soreness from the excessive sex on the night of Aelros's transformation.
I was startled by my thoughts; there was only Weslin and me in this house. But when I picked up the mirror, there were no strange marks on my neck, just a lot more love bites.
'Did I have love bites here? Could it be that I remembered wrong?' I thought.
I didn't want to blame Weslin, the only person who reached out to help me.
Weslin provided me with a place to stay. It was the first time I woke up in such a soft and comfortable place since I was born.
There were no beatings, no curses, no endless chores.
In the past, I was often required to wake up at three in the morning to prepare breakfast for my foster parents and Danial. If the food was not delicious enough or if it was served too late, I faced a beating from all three of them. Every day, I endured a hell of pain. The memories of that suffering, helplessness, and despair remained vivid.
Susan would beat my lower abdomen with a heavy stick and even pour scalding hot water on my back, as other areas would attract the neighbors' attention. In reality, everyone knew the kind of life I was living, but no one was willing to stand up for me. My body still bore the faint scars, reminding me constantly that I must escape from that hell.
No one could help me; I was alone.
Now, I could finally escape.
My body clock woke me up early, and the bathroom was stocked with all the toiletries-toothbrush, towel, face wash, and even sanitary pads- all neatly arranged in the cabinet.
I was amazed by Weslin's thoughtfulness; he was truly a perfect and considerate professor.
As I stepped out of the bathroom, I saw Weslin approaching me with a tray of a rich breakfast.
The tray held warm milk, toasted bread, and fresh vegetable salad.
Weslin said, "Ellie, good morning. You woke up so early; I thought you would rest a little longer."
"Good morning, Professor Desire," I smiled sincerely at him. "Thank you for accommodating me and giving me a comfortable sleep."
"Well, that's great. Congratulations on your progress toward better health," Weslin joked rarely.
It was evident that he was genuinely happy about my improving health.
Weslin speared the vegetables with a fork and brought it close to my mouth, trying to feed me.
Weslin's sudden proximity startled me, and I couldn't help but take a few steps back, instinctively moving away from him.
Although I trusted Weslin, I still viewed him as my professor, despite not being a student at Moonlit University. His actions yesterday, when he wiped my body, had already made my heart race, and now, his affectionate feeding was making me feel uncomfortable.
Weslin was the first person to approach me without hostility. Most people who got close to me before did so with the intent to hurt me.
At that moment, I could feel my muscles tense, my defensive movements, and the deep-seated fear within my soul.
"Sorry. Does all this make you uncomfortable, Ellie?" Weslin noticed my resistance and immediately apologized formally.
I could hear the hurt in Weslin's tone.
The unfamiliar yet warm scent in the room made me realize that I was no longer in my foster parents' house.
Since I entered this house, Weslin had been taking care of me meticulously, but I couldn't accept his intimacy easily.
I was used to beatings and curses, but the hurt in Weslin's eyes softened me.
I couldn't say no to Weslin.
"Sorry, Professor Desire. It's my fault. I'm too sensitive," I swallowed the vegetables Weslin fed me and explained, "No one has ever been so close to me, which makes me feel strange. I'll get used to it."
"No need to force yourself; I'll wait patiently," Weslin said, running his fingers through my slightly messy hair from waking up.
Oh god!
I thought Weslin was so gentle and was truly someone worth relying on.
...
Aelros' POV:
It was almost the full moon again.
I had to constantly challenge the werewolves in the pack.
The full moon was my only weakness. On that night, my abilities would vanish, and my body would be wracked with intense pain. I needed to defeat all challengers before then to ensure no one would dare attack me on that night. Otherwise, I would be in grave danger.
"Aelros! Don't think you're safe just because you survived the transformation day! You're just a hybrid born of humans, only fit to submit under our feet!" The werewolf challenging me growled low and provoked me.
He came up to me, taunting and cursing at me, "I will defeat you in front of everyone! You hybrid!"
The challenger rushed toward me, but I easily leaped and dodged his attack.
Sharp teeth pierced the challenger's neck, and the pain made him struggle in a pool of blood.
"That's impossible! I saw you in pain like a sick wolf on the transformation day!" the challenger exclaimed in disbelief.
I smirked disdainfully, pressing my foot hard on his abdomen, exerting force.
"Who else wants to challenge me?" I raised my arm, calmly scanning the surrounding crowd.
The challenger spat out blood, eyes wide in disbelief, struggling to breathe.
The referee squatted down, pressing his fingers on the opponent's carotid artery.
After determining that the werewolf was dead, the referee declared my victory.
In an instant, the silent crowd erupted into enthusiastic cheers. "Aelros!"
Their chants grew louder, and I felt like an uncrowned king.
As I stepped down from the challenge platform, Paul approached me, handed me a bottle of water, and said, "Aelros, congratulations. You're getting stronger!"
I nodded, wiping the sweat off my forehead with a towel. "It's not enough yet; there's still a distance to challenge Joseph."
Paul glanced at me, pretending to casually mention, "You know what, I sent Ellie to Weslin."
"It's none of my business," I tossed the towel to Paul, not interested in Ellie staying with Weslin. "We're done. Don't bring up something irrelevant."
I had already provided Ellie with basic treatment and shelter, which was more than enough for a one-night sex partner.
Besides that, Ellie and I had no connection anymore, and there wouldn't be any in the future.
...
Unexpectedly, after the challenge ended, I found myself standing outside Weslin's house, almost as if under a spell. Jesus, this was not my intention at all.
But when I saw Ellie, I almost forgot to breathe. She was stunningly beautiful.
She was lounging lazily in the flower-filled garden, exuding a sense of ease and confidence.
The sunlight on Ellie's body cast a soft, golden glow. She looked like an angel, completely different from the Ellie I had seen that day.
