Chapter 22 Concealment of Weslin

POV:

This time, I lay on the bed in the room prepared for me by Aelros, and the soft bedding relaxed my mood.

There were three rooms on this floor. One for me, the next one was Aelros', and there was another room for other companions. Aelros did not explicitly inform me that someone would be living in that room, but he forbade me from wandering around. When Aelros knocked on the door and entered the room, he was holding clothes and some supplies prepared for me. He placed the items on the table and sat down by the bed.

"Until I give you permission, I hope you can stay in the room all the time," Aelros gently lifted my chin with his palm, but his tone was unusually serious, "If you don't behave, I don't mind giving you some punishment." Listening to Aelros's low warning, I shivered involuntarily.

Although I had no idea what kind of terrible punishment awaited me, I didn't want Aelros to be angry with me. Despite the unreasonable nature of the request and how it felt like confinement, I agreed.I shook my head and earnestly assured Aelros, "Don't worry. I won't run around."

Since Aelros had agreed to take me in, I should follow his rules.

Aelros didn't stay in my room for too long. After ensuring I took his warning seriously, he turned to leave.I quickly grabbed Aelros' sleeve as he was about to leave. "Aelros!"

Aelros turned back and looked at me in confusion. "What's wrong?"

This was the first time I had actively stopped Aelros and expressed my thoughts, and I was extremely nervous.

After hesitating for a long time, I finally spoke out what was on my mind, "I don't know what I can offer you. I am not a wolf and just a helpless waste who can't provide any help. But regardless, I am very grateful for you taking me in." I hoped Aelros could feel my gratitude, staring at him intently.

Aelros quickly averted his gaze, shaking off my grip. "Get some rest."

As Aelros closed the door behind him, I breathed a sigh of relief.

I felt like I needed to do something to show Aelros my worth, even if it was just doing chores or cooking. I wanted Aelros to understand that I was not worthless.

If only I were a wolf, I wouldn't be useless to Aelros.

I sighed and plugged in my phone, which had been turned off due to lack of power.

As soon as it turned on, I saw Weslin's greeting message at the top of the screen: [Ellie, are you okay? Did Aelros harm you?]

I replied to Weslin: [I'm fine. Aelros is good. He didn't harm me and took me in! But I can't come out to replace you for now. I hope you can forgive my rudeness.]

I asked him about any recent changes in my body. I had felt a calling during the last full moon, and these days after the full moon, I felt my organs becoming more sensitive.

Even my strength had increased.

Weslin patiently asked me: [Have there been any unusual occurrences during these two times?]

I remained silent for a moment, not telling Weslin about the truly unusual event, having sex with Aelros.

I feared that Weslin would think I was naturally promiscuous if he found out. Not wanting to leave a bad impression, I chose to conceal the truth and lie: [I don't remember clearly. Maybe I need to recall it carefully.]

Weslin quickly replied: [It's normal not to notice anything unusual. I'm just speculating. Next, I will look for other information to help you complete the wolf transformation. Don't worry.]

Weslin's words were like a sedative, calming my anxious heart about the transformation day.

I thanked Weslin and told him that I couldn't return to his house for the time being.

Weslin: [I support you, Ellie. But when you are in trouble, I hope you can notify me immediately, and I will come to help you!]

Weslin's words made me realize that my rapid transformation into a wolf was closely tied to having sex with Aelros.

Although I wasn't sure if Aelros was aware of this connection, I decided to stay by his side.

I was too eager to gain strength and to claim my own wolf. Only then would I have the power to protect myself and avoid being abandoned for my perceived uselessness.

I decided to replace Aelros and personally explain that I planned to go out and buy something tomorrow. However, as I pushed the door open to leave the room, the sight of the densely packed rooms lining one side of the corridor made me feel dizzy.Oh Jesus!

I should have paid more attention when Aelros introduced the rooms in the house, but now I was completely lost.

There were too many identical rooms, and I couldn't determine which one was Aelros'.

I vaguely remembered Aelros pointing to that room when he introduced it to me.

I decided to open that door and give it a try.

Following my memory, I opened that door. But it was a complete mistake!

As soon as I opened the door, I saw Aelros just finished showering, with only a towel wrapped around his lower body.

He seemed to have just come out of the bath, with water droplets still lingering on his body.

This was actually the bathroom, not Aelros' room!

Aelros had a great physique with well-developed and prominent muscles, making me momentarily forget to blink.

I just stood there quietly, staring blankly at Aelros' half-naked body.

"I told you not to run around, so why didn't you listen?" Aelros asked.

Aelros lifted my chin, his fingers probing into my mouth intensely.

I wanted to explain, but my busy mouth couldn't speak.

"Did you not hear what I said?" Aelros bent down, his mouth close to my ear. "It seems I need to teach you a lesson. I already forbade you from running around." Aelros grabbed my hair and pushed me hard against the door, his fingers gripping my cheeks forcefully. "Next, you need to accept your punishment."

I felt like my jawbone and teeth were about to be crushed by him!

It was too painful!

Tears uncontrollably streamed down my eyes, falling to the ground.

Oh my god!

If I had known that opening a door would lead to such a terrifying ordeal, I wouldn't have done it!

I should have stayed obediently in the room! But I didn't.
