Ford has something “wild” in store for the Bronco Sport, and the latest teaser hints at a rugged Sasquatch Package, mirroring the off-road prowess found in its bigger sibling, the Bronco.
The teaser, posted on Ford’s social media, shows a mud-caked Bronco Sport tailgate before a massive, hairy arm—reminiscent of the legendary Sasquatch—scribbles the date “Aug. 26” into the mud, hinting at a big reveal.
For Bronco enthusiasts, the Sasquatch Package is synonymous with hardcore off-road capability. On the Bronco, it includes 35-inch tires, locking front and rear differentials, and Bilstein shocks—essentials for tackling the toughest trails. While the Bronco Sport’s version might be scaled down to fit the more compact SUV, it’s still expected to bring serious off-road upgrades to the table.
Currently, the Bronco Sport Badlands leads the pack in off-road readiness, with Ford also offering a Black Diamond Off-Road Package for the Big Bend and Outer Banks models. However, camouflaged prototypes suggest something even more formidable is coming. These prototypes sport increased ground clearance, distinctive wheels, and beefy Goodyear Territory RT tires, signaling that Ford is gearing up for an even more capable Bronco Sport.
Inside, expect a refreshed look with a larger infotainment screen, hinting at a broader update to the Bronco Sport lineup alongside the anticipated Sasquatch Package.
With the reveal date set for late August, it’s likely that the Bronco Sport Sasquatch Package will be introduced as part of the 2025 model year, ready to bring a new level of off-road adventure to Ford’s compact SUV.
