The highly anticipated eighth installment of “Forza Motorsport” is revving up for its release on Xbox Series X and Series S consoles, and the latest in-game footage, unveiled on Sunday, has fans buzzing with excitement.
Slated for a spring 2023 launch, “Forza Motorsport” continues its legacy as a premier racing simulator, distinct from the more arcade-like “Forza Horizon” series. The new footage showcases the game’s breathtaking graphics, using the iconic Maple Valley racetrack to demonstrate its capabilities.
Players can expect 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, with lifelike reflections, detailed vehicle damage, and dynamic lighting that changes with the time of day, creating a deeply immersive experience.
But the enhancements don’t stop at visuals. The game’s physics model has been overhauled, offering an authentic racing experience where track temperatures, rubber buildup, and weather conditions impact grip levels. Tire and fuel management are now key elements, adding another layer of realism.
The car roster is equally impressive, featuring meticulously detailed vehicles like the Audi RS E-Tron GT, Brabham BT62, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Koenigsegg Jesko, and Porsche 911 GT3. Race enthusiasts will also find a selection of race cars, including the Acura ARX-05 DPi, Audi R8 LMS GT3, Chevy Corvette C8.R, and the legendary Mazda 787B Le Mans-winner.
