5 Puppies For The Alpha -
Chapter 104
Despite being young Bastian was a wolf… stubborn. Very stubborn.
Among his goals was to be Falco’s mate. The beta of the wolf that had picked him up, so that’s how it would be. He’d said so from the first time he’d seen him, and he wouldn’t back down. That was the right wolf.
So from the day he’d been welcomed into the pack he’d always looked for some way to be with him. Even if he didn’t quite agree with his wishes. He used to replace ways to sneak around so he couldn’t be found and hide, though he had an innate facility for spotting him. Or she would growl at him when he got close, earning a louder growl from Dante for doing so.
Daddy Dante always so protective. He teased him about it.
Still, Bastian didn’t complain. He always justified Falco being shy.
He had already caught him more than once following him with his eyes or sniffing him, after he had been close to another male. Although he always denied it. It was a strange game they had between the two of them that many called love-hate. He, on the other hand, only claimed that Falco was just playing strong.
Though he played the strong one for so many years, that even he himself was getting tired of it.
Even so, he was a happy wolf. Much happier than when he lived in his old pack. Dante was really good and allowed him to live in the mansion. He was his protégé, so he got almost as much respect as he did.
He took care of him, taught him what he needed, was aware of his training, like all the wolves in the pack who knew the minimum to defend themselves. Reason why more than loving and admiring him, he considered him as a father. She had received more affection in the years she had been under Dante’s care, until she became a full-grown, full-fledged adult wolf, than her parents’ affection mixed in.
Though for many the wolf’s closeness could be considered otherwise. Bastian didn’t care. As long as he believed in him, he didn’t care what others thought.
Besides, he only wanted to have a relationship with Falco and become Falco’s mate. God, the wolf was everything he’d hoped for in his mate.
A physique that made him bite his lips and squeal like crazy, not to mention the fact that he got hot at the sight of him, especially after he transformed and walked naked next to Dante. Nothing else had eyes for him. The way he talked, the way he moved, he was perfect. That is, apart from his temper. That needed a bit of work. But for that there was time and he was preparing the way.
Like that night when he sneaked into the beta’s room.
He knew he would be sleeping peacefully. He was exhausted from two days of work without rest with Dante. They had reinforced the security of the entire pack, as the she-wolf who was currently carrying Dante’s offspring was about to give birth.
Dante had been really tense as it wouldn’t be the first time his pup’s life had been in danger. He only prayed that it would be born alive. He had already seen, years ago, how the puppy had perished in mid-gestation and the alpha had become depressed. The good thing was that a week later he appeared fully recovered. Bastian knew him well, though. A part of his soul was gone, hiding that feeling behind a false smile.
But, this time, the doctor had given good news at the last minute, and the puppy was stable inside the mother’s body, so they could rest until further notice.
And he took the opportunity to ask Dante for the key to Falco’s room, which he didn’t refuse. With a smile he had received it with the intention of sleeping next to him now that his guard was down. It was just sleep, nothing more. She opened the door as quietly as possible. The damn wolf had super developed senses, and if she wasn’t careful she could throw him out of there as she had done on previous occasions, but tonight it wouldn’t be like that.
But tonight it wouldn’t be like that. He couldn’t sleep with a thousand things on his mind and he knew the only way to do that would be with the wolf he loved. So he approached slowly, stopping in his tracks.
There, in the darkness, the moonlight filtering through the window illuminated a body from the bottom up on the bed. Falco slept soundly, completely naked. The sheet covered from the h**s down and revealed the beautiful patch of light hair that trailed from his navel to his now hidden crotch, perhaps not for long.
He swallowed dryly and ran the tip of his tongue across his lips. His wolf was there and he wanted to be by his side, he would only sleep. He kept repeating that over and over in his head. He’d never been next to him in bed before and he hoped she wouldn’t reject him… again. He’d only ever been with one other wolf in bed, and that was with Dante, when he couldn’t sleep at night, after he’d been thrown out of the pack, and he’d held him protectively so he could rest.
Bastian was still a virgin and intended to remain so, his virginity belonged to Falco.
Stealthily he approached the bed and slowly crawled under the sheet until he could lie down. She knew how tired the beta was and he had no intention of having s*x with him, so she wasn’t wearing a sexy nightgown, just a long shirt and cotton trousers, not at all sensual. I didn’t want to look like I was provoking him. Not this time.
She moved closer to him, careful of her movements, and when she was next to him she gently let her head fall on his shoulder. The feeling and the warmth that seeped through his skin was so gratifying that he almost let out a m**n. Falco’s scent really was so strong and exotic that it turned him on. Hell, he had to control himself or the wolf might wake up. So he bit his lower l*p and didn’t move. He lay still against him feeling his heat and hearing his breathing.
But minutes later the wolf turned sideways and his arm clutched tightly around his waist pulling him tight against his body. It was then that he could feel an e******n against his stomach and he almost gasped.
Falco was aroused. Sleepy, but aroused.
His thigh slipped between his legs and her head lay against the hollow of his neck where her nose sniffed him. Bastian shuddered at her closeness and smiled. His hands stroked the wolf’s hair and he settled against him letting her hug and hold him close.
He closed his eyes allowing himself to sleep now, but Falco’s voice woke him up and blew his sleep away when he heard him say….
-Bastian.
And the fucker was still erect and asleep.
Bottom line. Bastian didn’t sleep the rest of the night processing that. Falco had said his name while clinging to him. Did that mean…
