Chapter 281
Chapter 281 The Sniper Reappears
Initially, Finnegan just wanted to ignore everything and have a good sleep.
Yet, he was woken up by a phone call before it was even noon.
It was a call from Cindy,
"Where are you?"

As soon as the call connected, the somewhat irritated question from Cindy came through before he could even speak.
Yawning, Finnegan said, "I saved you from Seamus last time, ma'am. Can't you be a bit more polite when you talk to me? Can't you add a 'please' to your sentences?"
At that very moment, Cindy, who was at Jerome Medical Clinic, gritted her teeth, on the verge of cursing. How dare he call me ma'am?
But a glance at her overly hefty boobs had her suppressing her dissatisfaction. "You told me to go to Jerome Medical Clinic for treatment when I have time, but I've just arrived and don't see you here." "Let's do it another day. I probably won't have time these next few days," Finnegan said.
The matter of the Sable family had yet to be settled, and a dangerous sniper was lurking in the shadows.
He couldn't rest easy until all those issues had been resolved completely.
However, Cindy insisted, "No. You must treat me today!"
Lately, she felt that her bra had gotten a bit tighter and was worried that if she didn't seek treatment soon, she might end up with a G cup.
The thought of being unsteady on her feet to the point of losing her balance was something Cindy simply couldn't accept.
Finnegan frowned. "This issue of yours has been around for quite some years now. There's no need to rush. Just wait for another four or five days."
"No way. They've grown bigger again, and I don't want it to happen anymore!"
A smile tugged at Finnegan's lips as images of Cindy's figure popped into his mind relentlessly.
"Fine. Then, come to Dragon Bay No. 1 Villa," he relented with a wry smile.
After hanging up the phone, Finnegan knew he wouldn't be able to continue sleeping.
After getting dressed and freshening up, he went downstairs and asked the housekeeper to whip up some spaghetti. Having eaten, he went to the garden pavilion to wait for Cindy.
A short while later, the honk of a car sounded from outside the main gates. Finnegan knew it was Cindy arriving. "Please open the door, ma'am."

One of the help nearby opened the gates, and Cindy drove in.
When she stepped out of the car and saw the full view of Dragon Bay No. 1 Villa, she was wholly astounded.
It was a luxurious and extravagant mansion, and its front and back gardens were filled with all kinds of flowers and plants, much like a small park. There was also a private beach, a seaside swimming pool, and all kinds of outdoor fitness facilities.
Most importantly, there was a small dock where yachts could moor.
Even though Cindy had long since known about the luxuriousness of Dragon Bay No. 1 Villa, she couldn't help but be stunned at that moment
Seeing her standing there dumbfounded, Finnegan could tell at a glance that she was shocked. "Melons, do you replace your past self stupid now, thinking that I wasn't good enough for Bernie and even considered breaking us up?"
At that moment, Cindy indeed felt a bit foolish for dismissing Finnegan solely based on appearances.
But upon realizing what was said, she retorted, "Finnegan, even if you don't call me 'Cin' like Bernie does, could you at least be a bit more polite?"
"Wasn't that the truth?"
"You're simply..."
Cindy wanted to say that Finnegan was shameless.
However, a glance at her protruding breast left her with no choice but to suppress her wrath. She walked over to him. "How do you plan to treat me?"
Inwardly lamenting over her wit, Finnegan said, "Your non-stop growth is due to an excess secretion of hormones. If you want a permanent cure, you need to reduce your hormone levels to normal standards. Otherwise, any other methods are just treating the symptoms, not the root cause!"
Cindy furrowed her brows, not quite understanding what he was saying. "How long will it take for full recovery? And what kind of results can be expected?"
"Just one treatment will do. After that, you can take some medicine yourself for a week." Finnegan, who hadn't had enough sleep, yawned. Then, he continued, "As for the results, you can choose whatever result you want. For instance, do you want them to become smaller?"
Upon hearing that, Cindy exclaimed in surprise, "They can become smaller?"
Finnegan smirked. "If they can expand, but can't they shrink?"
"Never mind. I just don't want them to grow anymore!"
Cindy's cheeks flushed slightly, and her eyes flickered. She dared not meet Finnegan's gaze directly.
She simply didn't want them to grow any further, but she was quite content with her current state.

Finnegan laughed and said, "I also think that maintaining the status quo is quite good. After all, you're tall and slim. You're simply a top-notch beauty!"
What the hell is this jerk talking about? I am your fiancée's best friend. Don't you think you're flirting with me by saying that?
Recalling the treatment method Bernice mentioned previously, Cindy suddenly felt a bit nervous. Her voice softened slightly. "Um... Well... Is the only treatment method the one you told Bernie?" Finnegan understood her concern, and a smirk curved his lips.
"Of course, there's more than one way to treat it. But no matter the method, that process is present. So, if you have yet to make up your mind, you can go back and think it over again, lest you accuse me of taking advantage of you after I've treated you or even demand that I take responsibility. That would be a problem!"
Cindy smiled bitterly.
In order to be free of the problem, she steeled herself and said, "Since I'm here, it means that I've made up my mind. There's no need for me to go back and reconsider. As for your concerns, they are unnecessary. I'm not that kind of shallow woman!"
With a smirk. Finnegan stood up. "All right. Then, follow me."
The two of them walked out of the pavilion.
As they were approaching the door to the mansion, Finnegan's body instinctively tensed up. The sense of danger had his hair stand on end the night before swept over him once again.
He immediately shifted sideways and threw himself onto the ground.
Almost simultaneously, a bullet whizzed past his original position, striking the stone pillar at the door and chipping off a piece of it.
"What happened?" Cindy screamed.
"Get down!"
Finnegan knew that the sniper from last night had returned. Cursing under his breath, he quickly cried out to Cindy.
At that moment, Cindy's mind had nearly short-circuited, making it impossible for her to react.

Sensing the approaching danger once again, Finnegan executed a sideways flip.
No sooner had he done so than a bullet whizzed past, striking the ground and leaving a small crater behind
By then, Cindy had already snapped back to reality, a scene from a movie flashing in her mind. There's a smpert
Sering that Cindy hadn't yet hit the deck, Finnegan quickly scrambled up and lunged at her.

He hugged her and rolled with her on the ground.
Almost simultaneously, a third bullet whizzed past.
Luckily, Finnegan managed to pull Cindy behind the artificial hill. He finally let out a long sigh of relief. "D*mn it! What a lunatic!"
He initially thought the sniper should at least be in hiding to evade investigation even if the man hadn't left Jadeborough.
Unexpectedly, the sniper didn't play by the rules, launching a second attack in a short span of time.
The more Finnegan thought about it, the angrier he grew.
He made a call to Doom Star. "The sniper has reappeared and is roughly in the southeast direction. Judging by the angle of the shot, his position should have a bird's eye view of the entire front garden!" Following the call, Doom Star and Duncan swiftly departed from Dragon Bay No. 2 Villa.
Finnegan put down his phone and exhaled a pent-up breath. "If I replace out who sent him, I'll make sure the person gets a taste of what it's like to be caught in the crosshairs."
There was no way to guard against the enemy. In fact, the culprit wasn't even nearby.
If it weren't for his heightened vigilance after the first incident, he probably would have been shot again just now.
At that moment, Cindy, who had just begun to recover from the shock, started in a voice as soft as a whisper, her face as red as a tomato, "Can you let go now?"
