Chapter 824 Primrose answered her but insisted she could not hear her. Sage pouted, but she didnot mind it it. After all, Primrose was finally home. Sage raised her voice and shouted again, “Mom!”Sage's brothers were lost for words. All of them cast a look of disgust at her. Why was Sage callingher mom over and over again? Primrose shouted, “What are you shouting for? Can't you see I'mbusy? Find your dad!” Sage was rendered speechless. She turned to Sawyer and complained,“Daddy, Mom is bullying me again.” “It's okay, honey.” Sawyer glanced at Primrose and whisperedto Sage, “Don’t mind her, she seems busy.”

Sage nodded gently, but her eyes were still a little red. She dropped her head and rubbed her headagainst Sawyers knees. “Dad, I missed you two so much.” Sawyer raised his big and warm palm andgently patted her head. “We miss you too. We missed you every day after.” Unfortunately, theirtouching moment was interrupted by Kane's tragic scream again. “Stop shouting!” Primroseimpatiently said, “You almost scared me! If I pierce your stomach by accident, I won't takeresponsibility for that.”

Kane's face distorted in pain. He pouted, “It hurts...” Primrose said, “Be tough and learn from Tim.Look at him. He didn't even complain.” As she spoke, she ruthlessly stitched up the wound anddirectly pricked the needle into his flesh.

The anesthesia did not work on Kane. At this point, his face whitened from pain.

“Mom, take it easy. I'm your son. I just found a beautiful wife and we haven't seen the worldtogether. Don't kill me yet.”

Kane's way of speech changed and became more like Laura“s. Perhaps, he had been influenced byher after he had spent so much time with Laura. “I know. It's Laura, right? The girl who beat you to apulp when you were a child.” Primrose replied, “Luther, record a video of Kane and send his uglyface to Laura. I nevr even screamed as badly as him when I gave birth.”

Luther always listened to Primrose’s request. He answered with a yes and immediately went to gethis phone.

Kane glared at him. "Put the phone down! Don't record me!”

After a long brawl, Primrose finally stitched up Kane's wound. Kane looked like he had been througha lot of pain. He lost all his strength and slumped down in defeat. The way he looked so lifeless washonestly kind of cute... for certain people.

Sage felt bad for him, but she could not resist taking out her phone to take a few photos.

"D-don’t send it to Laura...” Kane's pale lips moved and said weakly, “I don't want her to worryabout me.” “Relax. I know.”

Sage thought to herself, “I have to do something. Otherwise, Laura might beat the sh*t out of Kanefor leaving without a word.’

“Tim, are you okay?" Sage was still a little angry with Tim, but she was more worried to see him lyingon the operating table covered in wounds.

Although Tim was not complaining as much as Kane, his face was pale and he looked morbidlyweak. “I'm fine.” Tim turned his head away slightly and told Mason, “Thanks.”
