The words made Robin cool down a bit. “I said Evan is a member of the Siren Organization, and since he came to see you, that means you must be a member loo, right?!

Bernard smirked, a cold laugh escaping his lips.

“If I were a member of the Siren Organization, the Laurence family would have already made use of their power to break into the North Funland market. Why are we still stuck where we are?”

“Are you sure Evan is part of the Siren Organization?”

“Grab him. Send him to the police!”

Bernard turned his head, his icy gaze staring at Robin.

“How do I know you’re not from the Siren Organization? If I give him to you and you let him go, wouldn’t all my years of chasing after the Siren Organization be wasted?”

This kind of rebuttal was something Robin could never pull off no matter how hard he tried!

“Bernard!” Robin was so angry that his fists clenched as he charged at Bernard.

“If I were a member of the Siren Organization, why would I have a conflict with Evan the moment I saw him and tell you about his affiliation with the Siren Organization?!”

Bernard heard this and raised an eyebrow

“You just said I was a member of the Siren Organization. How do I know if the information you gave me is true or false?”

Robin was rendered speechless by Bernard’s question. He opened his mouth to refute, but found himself trapped in Bernard’s logic.

Evan interjected at the right moment. “Mr. Laurence, he must be a member of the Siren Organization. He’s accusing me as a cover–up to hide his real identity. This way, no one else would suspect him!”

Robin was furious, “What nonsense are you talking about? You’re clearly the one from the Siren Organization!‘

Evan retorted, “Just because you say I am, I am? Well, if I say you are, why won’t you admit it?!”

Robin was about to explode, “I’m so pissed off! I’ve never been falsely accused like this in my life! I’ll teach you a lesson!”

He clenched his fists and swung at Evan, but Evan easily dodged his punch, “If you don’t have the strength, don’t throw punches!”

Robin was so angry that his face turned red, but without any evidence, he could only take the beating. “Just wait. When I replace evidence, let’s see how you defend yourself!”

Evan sneered, “Mr. Laurence, you see, he’s pretending to be angry and accusing me again when he heard that you’re investigating the Siren Organization. Isn’t he just trying to divert attention? I suggest you arrest him as soon as possible before he escapes!”

Who knew the Siren Organization could be so good at muddying the waters? Robin was about to explode. “Bernard, take me and him to the police station. Let the police investigate who is the actual member of the Siren Organization!!!”
