After the divorce, I attended my son’s parent–teacher meeting, only to be mistaken for another woman by my ex–husband’s girlfriend.

She stormed into the classroom with a group of her friends, broadcasting the scene live on her phone. The place was trashed.

The moment I walked in, she attacked me.

“You old hag. How dare you seduce my man and mess with my son? Today, I’ll teach you a lesson.” she shouted.

“Your face is more wrinkled than a dried–up prune. I’ll tear it apart so you can’t cause any more trouble.”

She struck me with a mop handle in front of all the other

parents.

My insides felt like they were being crushed, and her laughter grew louder.

Just before everything went dark, my ex–husband finally arrived. at the school.

I got a call from my son’s teacher saying that someone claiming to be his mother was causing a scene. I floored the gas pedal, racing to the school.

I’d been divorced for five years, but I was the one always managing our son’s education.

I never expected to run into a madwoman today.

I tried calling my ex several times, but there was no response.

Then it hit me that he barely ever involved himself in our son’s school matters. He probably didn’t even know where the

classroom was.

So, I decided to head up on my own, phone in hand, ready to call the cops if needed.

I hadn’t even reached the classroom when I heard shouting so loud it felt like the building was shaking.

A woman was screaming furiously, each insult louder than the

last.

“We’re all mothers here, so you should understand. Don’t blame me for delaying this meeting. This homewrecker is practically on my head,” she said.

“My phone is full of her dirty messages, photos of them in hotels, and credit card statements. She even spent the money I saved for

my

son’s trip abroad.

“And today, she’s here trying to attend the parent–teacher

meeting, like I’m some ghost. How could I tolerate this?

“Anyone would be furious.

“I’m a model, practically a public figure. If I don’t discredit her today, I won’t be able to live with myself.”

I quickened my pace.

By the time I reached the classroom door, a group of parents was already riled up by her words.

“She’s so beautiful, and yet the man still cheated? Do they want a goddess or what? Do whatever you need to do. We won’t see a thing. This homewrecker deserves it.”

“I hate people who wretch homes the most. She’s got no shame, especially at her age. Her grandkids are probably older than the men she seduces.”

The woman was moved to tears by their support.

“Thank you all for understanding. Mind if I keep streaming? Let the whole internet see her true colors. Might as well get some more followers,” she said.

The more I listened, the more something felt off.

I peeked inside and recognized a familiar face.

It was none other than my ex–husband’s new girlfriend, Reval Haynes.

Over the years, Cole Hudson and I only talked about our son, so I hadn’t interacted with her, though I’d seen pictures of them on his social media.

My son mentioned that Reva was a rising model.

But that had nothing to do with me.

It was fine as long as she treated him well.

Seeing her twisted face, I quickly took out my phone and tried calling Cole again.

Three calls, no answer.

I sent him a message instead.

[Did you do something to upset your girlfriend? She’s causing a scene in our son’s class.]

[I don’t care what’s going on between you two. Just don’t let it affect my son. If there’s a misunderstanding, clear it up fast. If you can’t handle this, don’t bother seeing our son again. Keep your girlfriend away from him.]

Just as I sent the second message, I saw a pair of high heels in front of me.

Before I could look up, my hair was yanked hard.

The rhinestones on her manicured nails dug into my scalp.

She dragged me into the classroom, and I stumbled.

A heavy kick in the back sent me sprawling to the floor.

I looked up, my phone camera smashed against my teeth.

My lips swelled instantly.

Reva yelled, “Everyone, this is the old witch I was talking about.

“She was lurking at the door, too scared to come in. She knows. she’s been up to no good.

“You’re old enough to be my mom. How dare you do something so shameful? If I were you, I’d hide my face in my pants when I walked outside.”

With that, she yanked harder, her nails digging even deeper into my scalp.

My flesh seemed to be torn off.

The pain was so intense I could hardly breathe, let alone explain. myself.

Reva continued to list my supposed crimes to the live audience.

The crowd of parents grew more excited, pointing and cursing at

  1. me.

My lips went numb for a good ten seconds. As the grip on my hair loosened, I quickly looked up at Reva.

“You’ve got it all wrong, I’m not the other woman. I…” I tried to explain.

Before I could finish, she slammed her purse into my face.

Blood poured from my nose, and my phone, which I had planned to use to call the police, went flying.

She snatched it up, sneering, “Still claiming it’s not you? This is the phone my husband bought. I have the receipts. Get ready to
