In his hands, he clutched a large bouquet of flowers, their vibrant colors almost a contradiction to his soul key and key de

"Why are you here?" I asked, genuinely surprised,

He smiled, a rare warmth softening his features.

"I came to pick up my Luna. If not here, then where should I be?"

I sighed, an uneasy feeling settling in my stomach as we walked toward the exit in silence,

outside, Leo turned to me, a hopeful glimmer in his eyes. "Join us for dinner?

I hesitated, the weight of his gaze making it hard to breathe,

"I'm not going this time. We should probably see less of each other from now on"

His expression stiffened, confusion etching itself onto his face, "Why?"

"You've been coming to see me too much this time. As an Alpha, shouldn't you be busy?"

I replied lightly, trying to mask the heaviness in my heart,

He opened his mouth to explain, then paused, contemplating his words.

"The reason I came to have dinner with you this time is because of Silvermoon's work"

Curiosity piqued, I inquired, "What's going on?"He explained, "I've been battling Andrew, trying to expand our influence. There'savent collaborator interested in pianos. I thought you might want to talk to him if you came along" I felt the conflict within me; I knew I wouldn't say no if it was related to Silvermoon.

But just as I was about to agree, Leo took my hand, guiding me toward the car.

The gesture felt familiar, comforting, yet it sent a shiver of uncertainty through me,

Inside the car, the atmosphere shifted,

The confined space was filled with the scent of fresh flowers and a hint of my perfume-my essence,

Leo leaned in slightly, fastening my seatbelt with a careful touch.

I caught him stealing glances at me, the air thick with unspoken words.

"Leo," I whispered, pushing him away gently, "we're not in that kind of relationship anymore"

The moment those words left my lips, it felt like I had doused him with a bucket of cold water.

His expression shifted, a flicker of hurt flashing in his eyes,

He smiled, but it didn't quite reach his gaze.

"It's okay," he said softly, stroking my hair. "I'll get you back."

The lightness in his voice felt hollow, a promise tinged with desperation.

I could sense the depth of his desire, but the reality of our situation weighed heavily on both our hearts.

We had a long road ahead, and I wasn't sure if we could replace our way back to each other, or if we were meant to walk separate paths.

Half an hour later, the car arrived at the hotel.

The ride had been silent, the tension between Leo and me palpable, as if every word that could be said was already hanging between us, unsaid. 11:02

We stepped out and made our way inside, taking the lift to the room that had been booked for the meeting.

As soon as the doors slid open, I was met with a sight that made me pause.

Inside the spacious room, sitting at a long polished table, were Dalia and Andrew, strategically seated on opposite sides.

The air was thick with tension. Clearly, the two were divided into opposing camps.

In the middle sat a middle-aged man, elegantly dressed, exuding an aura of wealth and power.

His sharp, calculating gaze moved between the others in the room, sizing up the situation.

This must be the potential partner Leo had mentioned, the one both sides were vying for.

lia, ever the energetic one, sprang up the moment she saw me.

Her excitement was contagious, though the circumstances didn't allow me to feel entirely at ease.

"Sister-in-law, you're finally here!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.

She gestured towards the man. "This is Mr. Ferdinand Holt, one of the major investors we've been talking about."

Mr. Holt stood up slightly, nodding in greeting.

I returned the gesture, offering a polite smile.

Before I could say anything, Dalia quickly added, "Mr. Holt, this is Elizabeth. Not only is she a skilled Luna, but she's also renowned for her talent on the piano. I don't think you'll replace anyone better when it comes to music." Holt's interest piqued, and his gaze turned to me.

"Elizabeth," he began, "I hear you're quite the professional when it comes to the piano. One of the best among the younger generation, I'm told?"

I smiled lightly, acknowledging the compliment with a nod. "Yes, that's right."

He chuckled softly, pulling a piece of sheet music from his leather portfolio and extending it towards me.

"Then perhaps you can help me with this."

Curious, I accepted the sheet music and examined it.
