If you really want to leave, we'll go to the council tomorrow and make it official." I stood there, frozen, as emotions flooded my chest-anger, sadness, confusion.

"The northern front is at war," he said, his tone solemn. "A large number of rogues have attacked our territory. I'll be leading the warriors into battle."
