"You should stop staring at me like that” Adryan says, his ocean blueeyes still glued onto the laptop he had been working on, a pair ofglasses resting on the bridge of his nose.

His words startling Adeena. Adeena was in Adryan’s office, she wassitting on a love seat which faced towards where Adryan sat on his chairworking on his laptop on God knows what for the past few hours. Hehadn't said anything beside greet her when she came in, his ignoranceannoyed her, but she kept quiet, pretending to read a book for the pasthalf an hour while staring at him work. Adryan was an extremely good-looking, with him growing a scruff over the span of a week, and theglasses only contributed more to his looks.

He stares at her some more, in a scrutinizing manner of his that madeher body heat up. He doesn't speak anything for a few moments, shewatches with outmost attention as he stood up from his office chair,approaching her with slow strides.

He stops when he reached her, towering over her as she still sat on thelove seat with her hands clutching the book of which she didn't evenknow the name of, in a death grip. Furthermore, he bends a little sothat now his face was close to hers. Her breathing pattern turns unevenas his blue eyes level with her brown ones. His hands coming to holdhers, Adeena’s lip part in shock.

"I would've believed you if you were holding the book the right way."he says, his eyes holding a glint in them, his voice filled with humor. Hetakes the book out of her grip and turning it upright, he places themback into her hands, Adryan found Adeena's shocked face humorous.Shaking his head with a small smile in his face, he poster straightenswhen he scents a particular scent heading his way, his bodyimmediately turning warm as the scent of strawberries neared.Adeena's shock evaporated into thin air when she watched withconfusion as Adryan straightened himself immediately, looking alert allof a sudden. She was just about to ask what it was when he movestowards the door, and open with such eagerness which Adeena hadnever seen on him

Adryan immediately opens the door to his office, knowing that Jadewas now directly outside his office, his Lycan side had helped himdetect her scent from miles away.

Jade's green eyes moves to his immediately, one hand holding thecontainer, while the other was raised in a fist, about to knock on hisdoor when he had startled for the second time that day by opening it.She was surprised to see him wearing glasses, it suited him quite well."Hi" Jade says, not knowing what to say.

"Hey, come in" Adryan steps back a bit so that she could enter. Jadewalks past him into his office, taking in the well furnished setting, therewas a bookshelf taking one side of the wall, filled with countless bookswith thick binding leading Jade to believe they might be on werewolfhistory and other supernatural creatures, Jade's eyes taken in his office,moving over the mahogany table spread with numerous papers and anopened laptop. When she turns back to Adryan she is shocked to replaceAdeena standing behind him.

"Adeena, hi" Jade says, smiling in acknowledgement.

Adeena had immediately stood up, so that she stood behind Adryan,his musky scent surrounding her and giving her comfort, she watchedas Adryan's eyes stayed glued to Jade's as she looked around his officespace, and suddenly her green eyes are on her.

"Hi Jade" Adeena replies, a pretentious smile on her face.

"Adryan” Adeena says, causing Adryan to turn back and look at her.

"I have to leave now, Blaine has asked me to come by, so I should getgoing." Adeena says, Adryan nods her head at that and turns backaround to face Jade. Adeena's face darkens at his lack of response, butshe doesn't waste any second to leave immediately. She didn't want tospend any time in a room where the guy she loves is going to ogle atsomeone else.

Jade found Adeena's sudden departure kind of off, she felt like Adeenawas lying about Blaine wanting for her in the pack clinic.

"Hey" a deep voice brings her out of her reverie, only to replace a pair ofheated eyes trained on her already.

Jade extends the container holding the food towards him, his eyesswitch towards the container before switching back to her.

"II didn't see much of you this past week, so I thought I'd bring yousomething to eat.” She says, he takes the container from her withoututtering a word, confusing her, but that is forgotten when he clamps hislarge hand around one of her wrists, directing her towards the directionof his desk. Adryan places the food container on the table and turnsback around.

"Sit" he says. Jade eyes the single office chair and turns towards him inquestion.

"There is only one chair here to sit." she says, she watched as Adryansat on his chair, patting his thigh he says, "Now you do". Jade's eyesturn to the size of a golf ball when she hears his words, her cheeksreddening immediately.

"Are you serious?" She asks incredulously.

"Dead Serious” he says, but his were filled with mirth, her lips part at hiswords.

"I- Uh, I have to pick Adonis from the nursery. I'll see you later.” Jadesays, immediately making up an excuse and leaving his office, Adryanwatched with an amused smile on his face as Jade practically ran fromhis office with embarrassment at his words. He loved saying stuff likethis and see her be shocked and then turn a lovely shade of red, whichcomplimented her skin.

Adryan's heart warms when he looks at the container, and by theheavenly scent that lingered in the air, he could immediately tell that itwas lasagna. His favorite.

Adryan's mouth waters, and he was about to dig in when the scent ofcitrus and apple's hits his nose.

"I never knew I would ever get to see the 'Big Bad Alpha’ smile” A newvoice chimes, causing Adryan to slump back in his office chair as hiseyes connected with a pair of hazel and blue eyes, "And that tooshowing all his thirty-two teeth in all its glory" Violet says dramaticallycausing Adryan to roll his eyes at her words.

"Shut up" he says.

"How much of that did you hear while eavesdropping?” he asks Violetand Brian.

"Oh from the part where you asked her to sit on your lap and when shepractically ran from your office” Brian says causing Adryan to groan."I'm never going to hear the end of it" he says to himself.

"Damn right" Brian and Violet chime together.
