Chapter 103

Bethany's POV Everything is set...

But my mind is not set, I keep having this nagging feeling that something would go terribly wrong today. From the moment I woke up this morning, I knew something was wrong with me and when I start having that kind of feeling, things don't always go well. First, my alarm didn't wake me up on time, Dominic had to personally wake me up to go and prepare for the mission. I rushed and had a quick bath, then I wore my blue ripped jeans and a black tank top, then I hung my pink hoodie over my shoulder and set out to meet the girls outside the Castle. They were both standing by the van, waiting for me to come out. I went down to the breakfast table but before I could sit for breakfast, an omega spilled some soup on me, making me groan in anger as I went back to our room to change my clothes. That feeling of dread never left me for even one second and there is no way that I could get Dominic to change his mind and cancel this mission, I just don't know why I'm having this feeling but I'm pretty sure that something would go wrong today, I can see the signs already.

The plan is actually quite simple, I'll be going with Harriet and Alaina. Carl and Dwayne had secretly packed the van full of boxes that looks exactly like the supply boxes in the cave, all we had to do is to drive down to the woods, stop by the cave, and pretend to be moving everything into the van. He had already laid out the boxes that we would move into the van, I think he filled all these boxes with something else, he would never hand over all these dangerous weapons to king Ashford, that would be plain stupid. He must have gotten rid of all the weapons and potion, he is only making us move those boxes because he wants everyone to think that I'm actually moving those things away, for all we know the moles might be watching. Dominic chose some guards to go along with us and keeps us safe, although he secretly warned me not to trust them because he doesn't trust them either. He only asked them to come along because he wanted them to see us moving those things into the van, in case they turn out to be the moles that we are desperately searching for. Since my mission is obviously a secret, I had to order the guards to stand back and wait for us.

They had their objections, but they followed my orders anyway, they stood in front of the house, waiting beside the SUV that they would use to escort us. They only knew that we were going camping, but they have no idea about my secret mission. The only way they would know about this is if they are a part of the moles working for king Ashford. But that is not my problem now, I'm confident that Dominic's plans would work out just fine, I just have to follow his orders, and everything would be fine. What is actually bugging me is the fact that I haven't seen Ciara for the past two days. I have been so busy planning this mission, I haven't had the time to go and check on her, and it's bugging me so much. It's just like I can feel her pain anywhere I am and this time it felt so real and it felt like it was happening to me. I couldn't say anything to Dominic because he would accuse me of being paranoid again, I just have to put my feelings aside and carry out this mission, that is the only way I could check up on Ciara. Dominic called for an impromptu meeting that morning, he wanted to make sure that everyone was in the castle. He went about his day as if nothing was wrong, he even went around his borders with some guards, checking his traps and making sure there is no way anyone can break through his boundaries. He is just trying to give us a head start, he wants us to be there on time before king Ashford gets suspicious. We did exactly as Dominic instructed, we moved the boxes and crates into the van and we drove off, heading to the meeting point. I felt so scared and I could tell that Harriet and Alaina were scared as well, but there is nothing we could do to ease our fear, we just have to suck it up and carry on with the plan. It took us almost three hours to get to our destination, I never knew that it would be so far, I have no idea why he would even choose this open space that had no hiding spots, where would he hide, how on earth is he going to get here on time. Be said the meeting point is perfect and everything was under his control but the closer I get to the meeting point, the more worried I get. I couldn't help wondering if there gas been some sort of mistake in the plan, maybe he had chosen a completely wrong location or maybe he just sold me out to the enemies. This is all so frustrating. I spotted an SUV up ahead, we still have a few miles to go before we arrived at the meeting spot, I wonder who could have parked out here, it's so far from any pack or territory so I can't say that it belongs to anyone from the Castle or pack. "Who could that be?" Harriet asked out loud, but we has no answers to that question, we just kept going forward. The SUV behind us drove forward speedily, going forward to check out who they are, but they got attacked by some huge wolves that looked like lycans. They were so huge and fast that it scared the s**t out of me, I guess the guards that Dominic sent along with us are innocent bystanders because they all lay sprawled on the floor, beaten to a pulp, unconscious. I guess the moles decided to change our meeting spot, I am looking at the GPS on my phone and I'm certain that this is not the place Dominic had picked, they changed the location to suit their plans and there is no way for me to pass the information to Dominic because they were standing so close to us. I turned off the ignition with shaky hands, then I stepped out of the van with my hands raised up in surrender. Harriet and Alaina did the same and we all stood in a single file, with our hands raised up in surrender, waiting for them to make a move, but they didn't say or do anything, they just stay in their hiding spots, watching us from afar, making sure we were alone, or so I guess.

"I'm here, just like we agreed, we have to hurry this up before king Dominic replaces out that I moved those weapons out of that cave. I need to head back so I can leave an alibi to save my a*s." I yelled out.

"That won't be necessary, bitch." Someone responded from the SUV that is parked by the corner. I raised my head immediately and looked towards the SUV because that voice sounds so familiar, it sounded like the voice of someone I know, it was so damn familiar. And I was right, it turns out to be someone I know, It was Bianca. That witch that runs Dominic's Castle as if it was her father's packhouse, so this b***h is one of the moles, that was why she was always so proud and rude to everyone. Before I could make any sound, she pulled out a gun from the back of her jeans and shot at Alaina and Harriet, giving them no chance to argue or retaliate. King Ashford personally chose Harriet to come on this mission with me, you had no right to go against him you have no right to change the rules, you can't just..." Her fist connected to my cheeks before I could finish that sentence, making my head turn the other way,

"That is for stealing my man." She spat out in disgust, then she raised her hand to hit me one more time, but someone held her hand from behind, stopping her hand before it hits me one more time.

"Don't ruin that pretty gave Bianca, you have to deliver her to king Ashford in one piece." He told her sternly, pulling her up and pulling her into his arms, they stood right in front of me kissing passionately making my eyes go wide in shock when I saw the face of the guy. Fabius Moran, that is his name. It's the same guy that has been with Ciara, the same guy that she had been living with for the past few months since we got to this castle. Oh my God, what have I done, no, what have we done?

"Y... Yu... You..." I stuttered out, trying to say something to him, but nothing came out, I couldn't make out any coherent words. They did not say a single word to me, they simply stood in front of me, sucking and licking each other's lips, kissing so passionately. They look like they have been together for so long, and I couldn't help wondering why he kept Ciara in his room when it is obvious that he loves this stupid Bianca girl. What does he want with Ciara and where the hell is she? "What is going on here?" I asked out loud, gaining their attention.

"Look, I don't care if you two are lovers, just take these things and get the hell out of here, I still have to get back to the Castle."

"Oh shut up, Bethany. We both know that you ain't returning to the arms of your cute lover anytime soon." Bianca let out in a mocking tone. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"Well, it seems like King Dominic is not the only king that is interested in this pretty body of yours, Bethany. King Ashford wants you as well and you'll be meeting him pretty soon sweetheart. And while you are with King Ashford, you don't need to worry this pretty head of yours about Dominic, I'll take good care of him for you, he won't even realize that you at missing. And when he starts asking too many questions, we'll get rid of him as well. I'll advise you to get acquainted with King Ashford because, in a few days, there will not be two kings anymore, there will be only one king and that would be king Ashford. So you had better not piss him off, he is not as gentle as your cute lover, Dominic, he may not spare your life if you dare to go against him, he would rip your head off and feed you to the dogs." She let out with a sickening smile on her face. I could tell that she is only trying to get me upset and scared and it hurts to know that she is succeeding, I'm so f*****g scared. I knew something wasn't right today, I knew this plan was not going to work. Where the hell is Dominic, what happened to all our plans and where is Ciara?
