Alpha Elias
Chapter 17

A knock on the door made Myra look towards it. “Come in.” She called out to Brian and the others.

The door to her room opened up and the boys walked inside, with bags full of food she could smell. She was starving.

“Alpha Elias said you wanted yesterday to yourself so we didn’t want to bother you.” Ryan started to say as he placed the bags on the floor and Brian closed the door behind them. “But today,” he grinned at her, “today we are going to spoil you with chocolates and so much junk food that when you get to training, the first words Alpha Elias will say is what did you eat?’”

Myra laughed as she smiled at them all. She was thankful they did not ask any questions about what happened. They would not push her into saying something she did not want to talk about.

She had walked with Elias home and he had escorted her to her own room. He waited for her to walk inside but she wanted him to know how thankful she was for him. Myra had leaned up on her toes and kissed him softly. He had held onto her body that was burning a little but cooled at his touch. She had pulled away and with a smile on her face and a heart full of hope, she had walked into her room.

Today, Myra had woken up with a fresh mind and a wolf that was hellbent on revenge just like her. She was going to train with Elias later on but she had spent most of her day in her room, trying to strengthen her core by doing a workout.

“Are we going to watch movies?” She asked them as she stood up from her vanity table and walked towards her bed. Brian nodded, sitting on the ground near the other boys who made themselves comfortable.

Myra laid on her stomach, staring at the TV that was hung on her wall. Ryan had the remote in his hands as he climbed onto the bed besides her. He laid down on his stomach and glanced at her.

“What do you want to watch?” He asked her, as the boys pulled out food from the bags, handing her a can of coke and chocolates. As if they knew what she needed.

“Something funny.” Myra shrugged her shoulder. She wanted to laugh.

“Identity Thief, it is.” Kyle chuckled as he took the remote out of Ryan’s hands who winked at him. Andy handed her a vanilla ice cream tub with a spoon which smiled gratefully at her. Josh closed the lights and the curtains, darkening the room before sitting on the floor besides Andy.

Myra opened her tub of ice cream as the movie started.

One question. Are you okay? Ryan asked her softly in her mind, without even removing his eyes from the screen.

She smiled to herself as she replied. Better than okay.

She was ready to learn how to kill someone. She didn’t want to learn the basics anymore. Myra knew her days were limited if she did not fight back. Alpha Jackson was screaming through their bond that she had shut out and pushed so far away, there was barely an echo of his voice.

Every day, Myra felt the tug back to her old pack. The mate bond was powerful yet there was something in the Crystal Blood Pack that called to her. She didn’t pay any attention to it though. To the unknown voices that pleaded in her mind to return.

She was not strong enough yet. Myra was going to learn how to be a killer so she could kill her abusers with a simple flick of her fingers. She had enough and for the first time in her whole life, she was ready to live. For Elias, for herself.

***

Myra noticed him first. Elias stood outside the packhouse, his white shirt unbuttoned and flowing in her wind, letting her take a peek at his glorious body. She felt butterflies fluttering inside of her and couldn’t keep the smile off her face when he turned to face her.

A smile instantly tugged on his lips as she took a step towards him, the world around them disappearing. She wanted to jump his bones. That was the only reasonable answer for her body to ignore a fire inside of her.

“Hi.” She breathed out, as she stood in front of him, completely lost in his golden eyes.

Elias was about to answer her when she heard the groaning of someone behind her. She turned around and saw Zac walking towards them, a male being dragged by a collar around his throat.

Myra looked at him confused as Elias took a step closer to her. The man glared at Elias, growling like a wolf that had taken over the human. He was crawling on the ground, being dragged by Zac who had a glare in his eyes.

The man on the leash tried to claw at Elias as he was pulled away from them and into the fighting ring.

“You want to learn how to kill someone?” Elias asked her as she looked up at him.

Myra nodded. “Yes.”

He smirked, his eyes darkening as if he was proud she was taking a step forward and not backwards. “That man helped Lucy. She is gone but instead of telling us where she is, he has given complete control to his wolf.” Elias started to explain, walking ahead towards the fighting ring where Zac stood with his foot on the guy’s face. She followed him.

“When a wolf gives complete control to his wolf in fear of being killed, he has lost all self control. His human side is gone, Myra and there is no way for him to come back. His wolf will try to survive but I want to see you kill him.” Elias told her as she walked into the area.

Zac took a step back from the wolf that zoned its black eyes on her and let out a low growl.

“Remember you need to kill him. Use whatever you can.” Elias’s voice rang in her eyes as the man ran towards her on all four, as if he was stuck between a human and wolf.

Myra took a step away, but the man knew the easiest move and clawed at her feet. She fell to the floor, pathetically, but she pushed herself up, the wolf teasing its hunt before killing it.

She stood up and faced the wolf. This was her test and she needed to pass it, not to prove to anyone but herself that she was strong enough to kill a life.

There was Alpha blood running through her veins that seemed to pump up her blood and make her heart faster. There were unknown voices in her mind that told her you are an Alpha. You are strong. You are powerful and you will kill him.

It was the push she needed. Myra let out a sigh as the wolf ran towards her. Without needing to raise her voice, she said one word, making the wolf freeze in its place. “Stop.”

The authority in her voice made the wind whistle around her. She could hear wolves howling from somewhere far, in Elias’s territory. Myra did not remove her gaze from the wolf that whimpered in front of her.

She was an Alpha and she was not afraid.

“Shift.” The power in her voice vibrated through her body. There was an emotion she felt inside of that did not belong to her. Elias was proud. She could feel it.

The man in front of her closed his eyes and she watched as he shook out his body before falling to the ground, curling up into himself. He pleaded for forgiveness as Myra heard Zac curse under his breath.

If they make a mistake once, they will make it again. Do not show him any kindness. He will use it against you. Elias said to her softly in her mind, his tone in awe but filled with authority.

He knew more than her and he was right. She was not going to be kind.

“Please.” The man begged as he looked up at her.

“Stand.” Her voice was as sharp and taut as a bow and he obeyed. He stood up, much taller than she would ever be but it did not seem to bother her as Myra took a step closer to him.

He took a step back, noticing the glare in her eyes. Men like him, who hurt women needed to be dead. They did not deserve to live in this world which was given to them by a woman.

Did men forget that it was a woman who gave birth to them? Not a man, a woman who went through pain for hours and hours to birth a child just for him to be a monster and to hurt women.

Myra took a step closer to the man who did not move. She heard Zac take a step closer yet Elias did not move. He knew. He knew deep down she was strong enough to take care of herself, all she needed was a push.

This was her push.

Raising her arm, Myra moved her hand closer to the man’s chest. His eyes widened in fear, the scent around them shifting and spreading his fear over the territory. Growls were heard close by and she did not care as others watched her take a step closer.

Their bodies were inches away and the man closed his eyes tightly, not wanting to see death embrace him. No.

“Open your eyes.” She demanded, her voice as sharp as the claws that grew on her hands.

He opened his eyes, widened them in fear as she dug her claws into his chest. She felt it. The blood coating her hand as she wrapped her fingers around his heart. One pull and he would be dead. One squeeze and he would be dead.

She watched the man choke on air, not moving as he stared at her. His hands came around her hand, holding on tightly, begging with his eyes not to kill him.

She was not a monster but she was Myra. The girl who needed to kill. If it made her a monster or a survivor, she did not care.

Myra squeezed her hand around his heart, the beating slowing down as she tugged and pulled it out of his body. Fear coated his face just like his blood coated her hand.

Blood dripped down from the heart she was holding in her hand as the man fell backwards onto the group. Zac stood above him, staring at her with wide eyes as she dropped the heart on the ground.

Myra was no longer afraid. Power seemed to flow through her veins, pushing fear and naivety out of her body.

She turned around to see Elias staring at her. His eyes were not widened like Zac’s. He did not watch her with fear like men and women who watched her from far.

The blood dripped down her hand as he grinned. “That’s my mate.” He said with a chuckle and a smile found a place on his face as he turned around to face his pack. “That’s my fucking mate!”

Everyone chuckled, seeming to snap out of their staring as he turned to face Myra. She watched as he walked towards her, a big grin on his face.

“I’m so fucking proud.” He murmured softly to her as he pulled out a handkerchief from his pocket and started to wipe her blooded hand. His eyes were darkening slowly as she stared at him, a smile on his face. “I’m tempted to grab you by the waist and throw you over my shoulder and take you to our room.” There was frustration in his voice as he wiped her hand.

Myra chuckled as his eyes darkened as if anything she did right now would tempt him into ripping her clothes off and having his way with her. She would not mind.

“I think maybe we can-”

“You’re an Alpha.” Zac said behind her, breaking her eye contact with Elias who tried not to roll his eyes.

There was always something that stopped them from completing the mating bond.

Myra turned around to face him. She nodded. He returned the nod in shock.

“Anything else I should know? I really don’t like being out of the loop.” Zac sighed, running a hand through his hair.

Myra smiled and shook her head. There was nothing else she needed to tell them. She turned to look at Elias. “I’m going to go and wash my hands.”

He nodded, watching every step she took away from him and she smiled to herself.

You really slayed my whole wolf existence today. Luna grinned at her in her mind and Myra chuckled to herself as she entered the pack house, ignoring the fear and the awe she could smell in the air.

Lucy was never on her list.

“Did you bleed out of your vagina and touch it? Because that is disgusting.” Ryan said as he walked down the stairs. She was only supposed to be run to the bathroom and return for the movie they had paused for her but Elias had mindlinked her and told her to meet him outside.

Training would be later though.

“You have a very disgusting mind, Ryan.” She shook her head as she walked up the stairs.

Ryan chuckled. “I have a very dirty mind.” He winked at her as he pushed open the door to her room where the others were waiting patiently.

“Is that period blood?”

“We’re best friends but I told you we are not going to have a period talk.”

“Ew.”

“That’s disgusting.”

Myra chuckled at them all as they scouted away from her, as she headed to the bathroom to wash her hands.

She glanced at herself in the mirror and for the first time, there were no fearful eyes staring at her. She was getting better and she could feel it inside of her.

Myra did not know how long her self confidence would be growing for, but she was going to hold tightly onto it, so she could not be able to focus on the fact there were two Alpha willing to kill her.

She was ready to kill them.
