Katrina's eyes fluttered open as the water was poured on her head jerking her from her sleep. "Open your eyes Peasant!" Christain's voice boomed as he walked out of the mansion accompanied by his Beta, Stefan.

She gasped and fluttered her eyes open. The bright rays of the sun shone on her face and to protect her eyes from the sun, she used her hand as a shield. "I see you are awake!" Christian Sneered as he stood in front of Katrina. "Your highness," Katrina's mouth trembled as she bowed her head.

"I see you are still alive," he beckoned for his guards to raise Katrina's. head. "Seeing the way you survived the wolfsbane, you must be a tough omega."

Katrina stared into the King's piercing purple eyes that glow like a bright light. They both stared at each other for a few seconds until Christian looked away. "Your majesty," Katrina said. "You promised me a job if I survived the night and I did.." She smiled. Christian chuckles and grabbed her chin. "You dare remember your king about a promise? You must be insane!" He shouted at her.

"My king." Katrina bowed her head. "I dare not, I only...

"Silence!" Christian shut her up. "I made a promise to you and I shall do it as your king. I shall give you the job you wanted," he told her.

Katrina's face beamed with a smile and she bowed her head down appreciating the king. "Thank you, your majesty," she raised her head to look at Christian.

"Your job is to clean the cell where the rogues are locked up," Christian informed her.

The smile fades off from Katrina's face replaced with a look of horror. Her job was to clean the cell he said where rogues were. Every werewolf knew how dangerous the rogues were. They are classless wolves that kill with no mercy. Sending her there was like a death sentence and Katrina wasn't ready to die just yet.

"Your highness," Her voice broke as she couldn't replace any words to describe her shock. She had knelt a day and a half all for nothing. "You promised to give me a job your highness," Her voice broke as she spoke to the king.

"You should be grateful that I gave you a job rather than sending you out of this castle little girl," Christian laughed and turned to leave but then he remembered something and stopped. "If you can't work in the cell then leave the castle and that isn't all. You will be exiled from your pack and become a rogue so little girl, why not serve one in order not to become one," Christian scoffed and walked away with Stefan and two other guards.

Katrina heaved a sigh and sat on the pebbles while she covered her face with her hands. She wondered why the king hated her. They were mates and according to wolf law, he was supposed to claim her or reject her but he hasn't done any instead he despised everything she ever did, and not even kneeling in pebbles laced with Wolfsbane could change the king's mind about her.

"Stand up Omega!" Two guards shouted at Katrina and pulled her from the ground. "You shall be taken to the cell and clean it all up," one of the guards smirked at her.

"I bet she won't last a few seconds until she is crushed down by those

Rogues," the other guard added.

Well, they bet right. As beautiful as the Mega mansion was, the cell was a disgusting place to be. It was built like a dungeon and smelt like dirt and blood. "This is where I will be working?" Katrina exclaimed as she entered the cell with the guards

The cell was filled up with rogues that were bulky in size and looked like giants. There were at least twenty of them. Some of them had scars on different parts of their body while most of them had their fangs out like they were ready to attack their prey. Their eyes were blood red and as Katrina walked in with the guards, they growled at her.

Katrina swallowed an invisible lump in her throat and shakes terribly as she couldn't move closer to the Rogues. They were going to rip her apart, she thought. The king had sent her to her immediate death and not even her dead mother spirit could save her from the hands of the Rogues. "Are you just going to stand there little girl or you are going to join us!" One of the rogues said to her. His voice sounded deep and loud as if he was speaking through a megaphone. Katrina trembled in fear and turned to) leave but she was pushed towards the Rogues by the guards.

Katrina fell and landed beside one of the rogues who had a large scar on her left eye. The Rogue grinned at her and laughed. "Clean the cell as the king has instructed," the guards reminded her and walked out of the cell locking it behind them.

"I. "Katrina tried to say something but she couldn't as the rogues had surrounded her like predators. " what are you doing?" She asked.

"What does it looks like we are doing little girl?" The rogue with scarface clenched his fist. "The king has bought you to your immediate death," he chuckled while the rest of the rogues joined him.

It was at this point that Katrina knew that she was done for and was going.

"Why did you do that to her?" Stefan demanded from Christian as they entered Christian's Office. "You could have given her a differend job. Why in the cell?"

Christian chuckled and sat down behind his desk. "What she is facing is simple compared to what I faced thousands of years ago," He pointed out and Crossed his legs. "I faced a thousand years of lightning stroke and walked in the wilderness for years as my punishment before I was sent to earth. You think what I did to her is bad!"

"They are two different people with the same face. She isn't the... Stefan tried to defend her but Christian shouted at him.

Don't talk like this when you know that she betrayed me in the first place. I want her to suffer like I did before she dies."

"Should I remind you that she is your mate? If you kill her now, it only makes your Lycan go crazy."

"My lycan?" Christian scoffed. "I don't care about him. Whether he agrees with me or he doesn't. Veronica had to die so I can return to heaven where I bélong!"

"She is going to die in that cell Christian! If you want to kill her then do it rather than.."

"Enough!" Christian Slammed his hand on the table.

"She could have died

last night by the wolfsbane but somehow the heavens saved her so that I won't be able to return and they can take my throne from me!" Christian stood up and paced around his office. "I want to hear her screams when the rogues tore her apart! I want her to feel the pain she caused me when she betrayed me years ago. That's way, she would understand that she deserved no mercy!"

"I see a weak omega girl who has come to work in the castle because she needed to. I don't see Veronica in her even though they have the same face," Stefan told him and stood up. He walked towards Christian and placed his hand on Christian's shoulder. "Whether or not you agree with me, I'll keep saying it until you do."

"I won't need your agreement anymore because," Christian removed

Stefan's hand from his shoulder. "She won't survive the rogues in the cell.

Her death will help me leave this world and go to mine so I don't care," he pushed past his friend and sat down behind his desk. "Stop talking about her and tell me what the black pack is saying about the hunting festival," Christian Changed the topic about Katrina and tried to block her face that kept appearing in his head out and focus on the wolf's business that needed his attention.

"Shall we begin?" Christian beckoned to Stefan to sit down in front of the desk.

"We are having this conversation later," Stefan reused to back down.

"Oh, don't worry about her. By then she would have been torn apart by the rogues and I would return to heaven," Christian smiled and grabbed a book on his desk.
