Alpha King’s Virgin Slave -
Chapter 86
Lorena POV
I watched as Miss Donna was tied with ropes onto two pillars. Her head was raised to face the sun and covered with blindfolds. It was a crazy way to die but I didn't want that to happen to her yet and so, I moved stood up from my seat, and bowed to Fenrir who seemed surprised to see me standing up for someone who had wanted me dead.
"What is it?" He asked.
I bite my lips skeptical about what to say to him. I knew that there was no way I could change his mind about killing Miss Donna for all of her atrocities but I believed that she was not alone in it and someone else was controlling her. Someone other than Angelica is a pawn in their games.
I heaved a deep sigh and looked toward Lord Jared who was Angelica's father. No one had found out about Angelica's relationship with Miss Donna except for the fact that she had tried to poison me, they all sees her as a great person who wouldn't attack others but to me, she was far from being a great person. Only I and Hallie who was now dead knew the truth behind Angelica and her father.
"Lorena," Fenrir tried to grab my hand but I moved backward making sure his hand didn't reach me. "What is wrong? Is it the baby?" She asked but I shook my head in response and placed my stomach. "Then what is it?"
"You can't kill Miss Donna just like that," I muttered so others wouldn't hear me but Fenrir shouted aloud, and everyone could be heard what I had said to him.
"What?" He asked me. "Why the hell would you even say that and not consider what had happened in the past!" He yelled at me and my heart jumped afraid of what he could do to Miss Donna at that moment. "You know what she did to everyone and how she doesn't deserve to be alive so why the hell are you changing your mind about everything huh!" He yelled and slammed his hand on the arm shield. "I am going to order the guards to kill her right away so stay away from it!" He warned but I couldn't just watch him do that so I started running.
"Lorena!" he shouted my name but I didn't turn back and continued running towards Miss Donna hoping that they wouldn't kill her before I would reach her side. I remembered the first time we first met and the things she said to me.
Even though she was a crazy person, I wouldn't want to see her die like that. She didn't deserve to die. I ran with all my might and just as I was about to reach her, the guards standing beside her removed her blindfolds and made her stare at the sun. "No!" I screamed but before I reached her side, her head was twisted by the guard holding her down. I fell to the ground and watched as Miss Donna's face changed color in an instant. She became pale and I saw her tongue hanging out of her mouth as she was pushed to the ground. "No!" I crawled towards her but was held back by the guards.
"Miss Donna!" I yelled her name and burst into tears. "Miss Donna!" I screamed so loud that one would think that I had gone crazy. "You shouldn't have died like that," I struggled against the guards and tried to reach her. "Miss Donna!" I burst into tears and held her hands. "I am so sorry," I apologized and continue screaming struggling so hard to break free from the guard's arms. Before I knew what was happening, the werewolves at the Arena began to point fingers at me. "Has she gone crazy?"
"Why is she supporting the villain!"
"What is she doing?"
I blocked my ears from their conversation and instead, I focused on Miss Donna's body on the ground. She could still be alive if she was given the chance to prove that there was an accomplice. Maybe she was right when she said that the werewolves were not to be trusted. I should have trusted in her words but instead, I chose to ignore her, and now, everything turned out badly for us, and even me.
"Miss Donna!" I kicked the legs of the guards and was able to break free. I headed towards miss Donna and lifted her from the ground. "I should have listened to you!" I shouted and shook her body Vigorously hoping that she wakes up but nothing happened. She was not moving and her beautiful smile had disappeared from her face. She was cold as ice and her eyes were widened open. It looks as if she was staring at me, blaming me for what I had done to her.
"I am so sorry for not believing in you Miss Donna. Your revenge was pretty bad but you were the only friend that I had ever had!" I cried and tightened my hands around her not letting her go. "I should have listened to you but instead, I chose to believe in other people," I said and rubbed her back.
"That is enough Lorena," Fenrir came behind me and grabbed my hand pulling me up away from Miss Donna's body. "I know that you are angry but you can't be seen with the enemy," he said and pulled me into his arms.
"I should have listened to her. I shouldn't have trusted the werewolves," I tried to push him but he grabbed my hand and placed it on his chest.
"Calm down and listen to me!" Fenrir tried to speak to me but I was already pissed by how unfair she haw to die without being given a chance.
1 looked toward Angelica and saw her standing and rushing out of the Arena. I frowned and pushed Fenrir off me and ran away.
"I am going to make sure everyone gets a taste of everything," I clenched my fists as I ran towards Angelica
