Alpha Queen
Chapter 117

Liviana’s POV

“Liviana” Rainer said as he held my hand.

I looked at him.

“What is it?” I asked.

Rainer pulled me to him and wrapped me in a protective hug.

“Tell me when you need help” he whispered.

I smiled and nodded.

Rainer let me go and I made my way to the center.

The warriors and guards training earlier went to the side to make space in the center.

Rolan went to center as well but kept his distance from me.

“Are you really sure about this, your majesty?” he said.

I smirked a little.

“Are you?” I asked back.

Rolan chuckled in disbelief.

Then, he motioned somewhere and 3 men came from behind him.

“I’ll give you 3 rounds with 3 different people in 3 different groups” he stated then glanced at his back.

“You can start with this 3 warriors” he said with a smirk.

“That’s not too much for you now, princess, isn’t it?” he said mockingly.

I chuckled.

“Of course not, Rolan” I said with a shrug.

There was a smug smile on his face.

One that I wanted to wipe off so badly.

We’ll see who will be mocking who later when this match ends.

We’ll see.

Rolan stepped away from the circle.

The 3 warriors took their positions and circled me.

Let’s begin, shall we?

One warrior attacked me from the back but I was quick to avoid it.

I went down and smashed my body to the first warrior.

The warrior fell forward face first and I stepped on he’s back to keep him down making him g***n.

I heard quiet gasps from the people watching.

The other 2 immediately attacked from different sides to corner me.

One warrior attacked me from the back but I was quick to avoid it.

I heard quiet gasps from the people watching.

The other 2 immediately attacked from different sides to corner me.

They really think that they can out man me.

They attacked at the same time.

I did a turning side kick in the direction of the other warrior and punch the other one.

The warrior that I kicked came flying to the side and out of the circle.

The other one I punched fell to the ground with a bleeding nose.

I grabbed the warrior who I punched and the warrior that I was stepping on.

I dragged them both and threw them out of the circle.

The other men gasped in surprise.

I turned to look at Rainer.

Rainer smiled proudly at me.

His father on the other hand…

I looked at Rolan.

He had an obvious frown on his face.

“I think your men need more training, Rolan” I saig with a smug tone.

Rolan chuckled at disbelief.

“Don’t get too cocky yet, princess” Rolan said and motioned somewhere.

Axel and Connor came out with an anxious expression.

I chuckled.

So he’s using them now.

“Your majesty, meet the assistant head warrior and head guard of Halo” Rolan introduced.

I smiled.

“Oh don’t worry. We’ve all met. Haven’t we, Axel and Connor?” I said.

Axel and Connor lowered their heads.

“Your majesty” they said.

I gave them a small mod.

Rolan frowned.

I turned to look at Rainer.

He had his fists clenched with a frown on his face.

I’m sure he’s not pleased with how his father used his friends against me.

“Don’t go easy on me. You’ll regret it if you do” I said and winked at Axel and Connor.

I saw them glance at each other as they entered the circle.

I went to the center.

Axel and Connor circled me.

They seemed to be communicating through a link.

I glanced at Rainer’s direction.

He had a worried look on his face.

I gave him an assuring smile.

Then, Axel and Connor attacked at the same time.

I dodged them both but Axel was fast enough to grab me.

I grabbed his hand holding me and twisted it before he can take advantage of me.

Axel g*****d in pain as I twisted his arm and Connor attacked again.

I looked back and kicked Connor before he can get to me.

Connor g*****d as he fell to the ground.

I turned Axel to Connor’s direction and pushed him to Connor.

Axel and Connor collided with each other on the ground.

I stepped back as they tried to recover from my counter attack.

Axel and Connor got on their feet.

I can tell that they were getting pissed off with what I did to them.

Imagine a princess beating up a couple of well trained men.

Axel and Connor glanced at each other again.

They were planning something again.

I can tell.

Then, they started attacking again.

They started attacking alternately.

I kept up with their phase and dodged their attacks.

But they suddenly changed pattern and I was caught off guard.

Axel’s punch hit my face.

I staggered back a little.

I felt a slight stinging sensation on my face.

“Liviana!” I heard Rainer shout from the sideline.

I smirked as I touched my lips.

There was a cut and it bled a little.

Nice.

“Good punch” I said with a smile.

“Now, my turn” I said.

Axel and Connor attacked again.

This time, I didn’t dodge them.

I was able to grab hold of Axel.

I immediately punched him in the face and kicked him in the stomach.

He came flying to the edge of the circle.

Then, Connor tried to attack me from the back.

I made a swift move and dodged his attack with a back flip.

I jumped on Connor’s back and tightly wrapped my legs on his torso while I choked him by the neck with my right arm.

Axel got up on his feet while Connor struggled at my hold.

I immediately tightened my hold of Connor making him choke at my hold as he fell on his knees.

As soon as Axel got to us, I let go of Connor as he gasped for air and fell to the ground.

I didn’t take much more time.

Before Axel can attack again and before Connor can recover, I did a powerful turning kick on Axel making him fly out of the circle and landing on the men outside of it.

I grabbed Connor and dragged him out of the circle and threw him out.

A smirk of satisfaction crept on my face as I turned to look at Rolan.

He had his fists clenched as he glared at me.

This must be so embarrassing for him.

“What else do you have you up your sleeve, Rolan?” I said and tilted my head to the side mockingly.

Rolan frowned as he stepped inside the circle.

“The main event…” he said as he eyed me.

“is me” he finished and shifted to his wolf.

“Pa!” Rainer growled from the side and came inside the circle in rage.

Rainer’s eyes glowed bright blue as his chest heaved up and down.

I immediately went to him and stopped him.

“Rainer” I said.

Rainer didn’t look at me.

He kept glaring at his father’s direction with an enraged expression.

“Rainer” I called out softly and touched Rainer’s face to look at me.

Rainer and I’s eyes met.

His eyes immediately softened.

“It’s fine” I assured him.

“I’ll be fine” I said.

Rainer sighed.

“This is unfair” he said with a frown.

I slightly chuckled.

“I’ve fought worse” I said with a chuckle.

“I can handle this” I told him.

Rainer just stared at me for a moment.

“You’ve proven yourself enough. You don’t have to do this” he said.

I smiled.

“I know. But I do want to do this” I said.

Rainer closed his eyes in frustration.

“Liviana” he said.

I sighed.

My eyes glowed bright gold as I gathered energy deep within me.

Rainer was lifted to the ground and out of the circle.

Rainer’s eyes widened.

Then, roots came out of the ground and wrapped around Rainer’s ankles.

“Liviana!” he scolded.

“Sorry, Rainer” I said and turned to face his father.

“If you think you can beat me this way, then go ahead. I should warn you though” I said.

“It wouldn’t make much of a difference. You’ll only embarrass yourself further” I said and smirked.

Rolan growled at me.

Then, he lunged forward to attack me.

He was fast but I was still faster.

Those man to wolf trainings in Lunar paid off well.

It was still in my system.

In fact, this whole situation gave me an adrenaline rush.

I haven’t felt so alive in a long time.

I dodged every attack that Rolan did.

When I found a chance, I connected a punch to his stomach.

Rolan whimpered as he staggered to the side.

He glared and growled at me.

He lunged again and again.

Faster and faster.

I lost my footing.

Rolan clawed me on the right shoulder.

I winced and fell on one knee.

I heard loug gasps from the crowd.

“Liviana!” Rainer shouted and growled.

There was b***d.

A lot of it.

I pushed myself up as Rolan circled me.

“Not bad” I said with a smirk.

B***d was dripping down from my shoulder to my arms.

It was deep.

I won’t heal too quickly.

Well, I can always heal it later on.

Rolan huffed as he prepared to lunge at me again.

My eyes glowed bright gold.

I was quicker this time.

I back flipped and landed on his back.

Before he could react, I chocked him using my left arm as I used my legs to not fall off his back.

Rolan struggled at my hold as he tried to shake me off.

I tightened my hold on him and I didn’t budge.

I’m going to finish this now.

I can tell Rolan was getting out of breath as he started to move slowly.

Still, he wouldn’t budge.

And I wasn’t planning on letting him go either.

It was a fight to the death this time.

He was eager to prove that I’m not worthy of my title.

I was eager to prove him wrong.

Rolan continued to fight back with the last of his strength.

Until he had nothing left.

He whimpered for the last time as he fell to the ground.

There was silence.

I looked at Rolan’s body on the ground.

I shook my head in disbelief and kneeled beside him.

He had a very weak pulse.

In other words, he was close to death.

I heard panicked murmurs of the men around us.

“Is captain Rolan dead?”

“Did captain Rolan die?”

“Is he still breathing?”

“I don’t think captain Rolan is still breathing”

I placed my hand on his neck and the other on his chest.

I glanced at Rainer and saw his shocked expression as he looked at his father’s body.

I closed my eyes.

I felt the energy flow through my body to my arms.

I started healing Rolan as my hand glowed.

I heard louder gasps from the crowd.

Then, I heard a gasp from Rolan.

I looked at him and stood up.

I saw him slightly open his eyes.

Rolan and I’s eyes met.

“I still have a lot to prove to the people of Halo. I know that. I do hope that this will serve as a reminder for everyone that I’m not backing off from anyone” I said.

Then, I turned to look at the men in the crowd.

“Get him to the pack clinic” I said.

They looked in shock at first but did as they were told.

I stood there for a moment as everyone left the training grounds.

“Liviana” Rainer called softly as he lightly touched my arm.

I looked at him with a smile.

“I did it. I proved that I’m worthy” I said.

Rainer smiled and nodded.

“You are” he said.

I smiled and everything turned black.
