Alpha Queen
Chapter 13

Liviana’s POV

A camping trip, really?

Every senior is required to attend a ‘retreat’ yearly and since we’re seniors now and it’s our last year, we have to put up with it.

“It’ll be fun, Livi” Blake assured me as we got on the bus.

“Yeah, right” I said sighing.

We sat at the back and I was beside the window.

“Oh come on. It’s our last year. Be a little optimistic” he said putting our bags in the top compartment.

“Yey” I said in a bored tone. He laughed and sat beside me.

Then I saw Grey enter the bus too with the twins. I immediately looked somewhere else.

I’ve been ignoring him since yesterday after our little argument outside the pack house where Blake saw us.

We really had to be in the same bus. And with me beside Blake at that.

I wasn’t scared of Grey.

I was scared for Blake.

I know how possessive werewolves are of their mates. Marked or unmarked.

Prince or not.

He can probably do anything he wants and get away with it.

They sat across from us and when I looked at Grey, he was fiercely looking at Blake.

I glared at him as I held onto Blake’s arm protectively.

“Get your hands off that human!” he growled through mind link.

“Don’t you dare do anything to him, Grey” I warned in reply.

“Fine! Now stop touching him!” he replied. I let go of Blake’s arm.

“You okay?” Blake suddenly asked me. I gave him a small smile and nodded.

“Stop smiling at him! Damn it, Liviana!” Grey shouted in the mind link and he stood up his seat.

“Can we switch seats, please?” I asked Blake.

“But I thought you loved the seat beside the window” he said.

“I’m…trying out something new for a change” I said. He nodded and we switched seats.

This way, I can act as a barrier for Blake and Grey.

Grey switched to the seat closer to mine too as he glared at me.

“One more wrong move, I won’t hesitate to get rid of that human, Liviana” he threatened. My eyes darkened.

“Don’t you fckin threaten me, Grey. You’re still on my bad side so don’t you dare lay a finger on Blake” I threatened back. He growled at me.

Then he was silent the whole ride. We both were.

We reached the camping grounds.

Blake carried my bag as we got off and we didn’t separate as the students gathered around for a briefing.

Grey stood beside me where Blake wasn’t but he didn’t say anything and watched us carefully.

We listened to the chaperone as they briefed us and after that, boys and girls were separated.

Blake gave me a k**s on the top of my head before parting and I saw how the twins grabbed Blake and covered his mouth and eyes.

I ignored him.

I went to my assigned tent with 3 other females. One of them was a she-wolf who was part of my pack and the other 2 were humans.

“Hi, my name is Veronica but you can call me Nica” one introduced with a smile.

“My name is Faith” the she-wolf said both nervous and shy.

“And I’m Karina” the last introduced.

“Liviana” I shortly introduced myself. Then, the Veronica girl pulled the 3 of us into a group hug.

“We’re going to have so much fun!” she squealed which made me cringe a little.

I doubt that.

Then we were called out to have lunch and the 3 of us went together to the open dining area.

Once I spot Blake, I saw him with…the twins and Grey?

Blake meets my eyes and he smiles before I hear him say “Be right back. Gotta meet someone” to the twins and jogged towards me.

“Hey” he said softly and gave me a quick hug before turning to the girls I was with.

At the corner of my eye, I saw tbe twins holding back Grey again.

Victoria and Karina squealed at the sight of Blake.

“Are you Livi’s tent mates?” he asked them. The nodded vigorously. He smiled.

“Please be nice to Livi” he says winking at them and they almost faint blushing.

I pulled him to the side for a moment.

“Why are you with the twins and Grey?” I asked him.

“They’re my tent mates” he said casually.

“Oh” was all I could say.

Out of all people.

I can’t even say anything to Blake without causing suspicion.

I need to do something.

Fast.

Then a light bulb lit up above my head when I saw someone.

I can’t believe I’m even thinking of this.

“I forgot something from the tent. You should go and eat lunch first” I told Blake and didn’t wait for his reply before rushing to a different direction.

Then, I finally see him.

“Howl!” I called out to him. He looks back at me with an eyebrow raised.

“Can we talk?” I said. He gave me an amused smile.

“The last time I wanted to talk, you shut me off and told me to get lost, didn’t you?” he said with a smirk. I bit my lower l*p guilty.

He leaned in.

“What does the Alpha need now?” he whispered to my ears as a grin spread across his face.

My jaw clenched.

“I have a favor” I said with my head held high. He chuckled.

“A favor?” he says chuckling. I nodded.

“What might that be?” he said sounding amused.

“Switch tents with Blake” I said. He raised a brow at me.

“Why?” he asked.

I sighed.

“He can’t be with the Haymes twins and Grey in one tent. He…he can’t” I said.

“Why not?” he asked with a smirk.

“Because he’s…human” I said.

I’m not belittling him. It was the best reason I could come up with rather than ‘Grey hates his guts and wants to kill him’.

“If I agree, what do I get then?” he said with a grin. I bit my lower l*p.

“Anything that involves just us. I don’t want my pack being involved. This is a favor only between you and me” I said with clenched fists. He smiled satisfied.

“How about…” he starts and leans in.

“A date” he whispered and my eyes widened.

A date?!
