Autumn

To say I was shocked was a under statement. I couldn't believe the size of this place Mr Keaton kept walking showing us different rooms. We passed alot of different people i seen maids cleaning even though they had regular clothes on it was common sense seeing They even had a theater room it had a big screen tv along with couches and big recliners. It also had a pool table and some of the games in it I seen there was a section on the side it had a smaller tv and what looked like a game system.

how they were caring cleaning stuff.

There were some teenagers in the room they all looked to be about my age some a few years younger.

I feel a tap on my shoulder looking over I seen Mr Keaton.

"You can go ahead in," I seen him mouthed to me. I looked to my mom she smiled and nodded her giving me the okay.

I glaced back at Mr Keaton he gives me a smile.

"Here let me introduce you to some,"

He walks in I see they all look to him.

Quickly some dropped what they were doing coming over to him his back is facing me so I can't see what he's saying I seen them glace at me they are nodding their heads he turns and holds his hand out towards me. I slowly walk in he places his arm around my shoulders giving me a small squeeze.

I look at them and they are all smiling at me the one boy steps forward. He holds his hand out to me. I look to his up to his face

"I'm Oscar nice to me you,"

I take his hand. "Autumn" I say.

He lets go the other guy next to him reaches his hand out. I turn my attention to him.

"Nick, This is Brad and Kelly," He points his thumb at them. I shake his hand then look to the other two people giving them a wave.

I see Kelly step forward she holds her hands up and begins to sign to me.

"It's nice to meet you, would you like to join us? we are about to play a game of pool,"

I couldn't help the smile on my face she knew how to sign I good at reading lips but it's always nice to have some one to communicate with other then reading lips.

"I don't know how good I'll be I've never played before," I sign to her.

I see her wave it off.

"Come on I'll show you, We can team up and kick the boys butts," She loops her arm with mine pulling me over with them.

I looked back at mom I see her quickly lift her hands.

"Go ahead sweetie I'll go with Mr Keaton," She signed to me.

Kelly started to explained how the game works she even showed me a little.

We played a few games I w as enjoying myself they were so easy to get along with. I laughed at them they all seemed super close.

I seen Oscar looking at me.

"Are you going to be attending school here?"

I shake my head yes. "I will be starting classes tomorrow I think,"

"That's great you can go with us if you like, We are all seniors this year,"

"Me too,"

I see Nick step next to him.

"Are you going to be living here,"

I looked at him confused did they all live here?

"No, I live with my parents and brother, it's about a half hour driver from here,"

They all did the O' with their mouth.

"We can come get you," Nick said next.

Before I could answer I felt a sudden shiver run up my back as if I was being watched I turned looking over my shoulder to see the man from earlier standing in the door way.

I instantly freeze holding my breath I looked around everyone didn't change they all kept that same look even though Oscar and Nick looked at me with a crease in their foreheads.

They didn't seem afraid of him in fact they were all smiling at him like they did when Mr Keaton introduced me to them.

I kept my self facing forward looking across the table.

I seen Nick say something but my heart was beating so fast I couldn't focus on what he was saying. I felt a present next to me. I turn my head looking at the person and that person was none other then him. Snapping my head so I wasn't looking at him. I could smell his cologne. It smelled like Rainforest.

I took a small step to my left just to put some space between us.

I felt someone hand on my left shoulder I jumped a little I hadn't noticed anyone there. I see Kelly looking at me with a conserned look.

"Autumn are you okay?" She quickly signed to me.

I shake my head yes not wanting to draw attention.

I kept my eyes locked with hers as I step again towards her and she seemed to understand I was moving away from him.

She takes my hand walking me over to the couch sitting down she pulled me down with her.

"Autumn are you afraid of him?" I see her signing.

I take a breath.

"He got into a fight with my dad and Mr Keaton when we were up in the office,"

She looked at them looked back to him.

"Do you know what it was about?" She asked.

I shook my head no.

"He just flipped my dad and Mr Keaton were holding him back, then the one lady came in, I think she said her name was Aunt Anna, she seemed to get him to calm down,"

She looked back towards them I couldn't see her face fully then she quickly looked back at me as if a light when off in her head.

"I'm sure there was a misunderstanding, Mr Reins is a good person he would never hurt anyone," She says I can see she truly believe this her face said it.

I wasn't sure how to respond I was never afraid to me people sure I was very nervous on the way here. But the way he acted up there made me fearful. I have never seen anyone act like that except that night at the hotel. I know my father is very protective of me and I know his line of work deals with security but I have never seen my father fight like that with someone.

I felt a hand grab mine I see Kelly looking at me it like she could feel my emotions.

She lifts her hands.

"Trust me Autumn once you get to know him he's really great he helps all of us with anything we need help with, Please don't judge him by one mistake,"

I could see her eyes she was pleading with me.

I give her a tight lip smile with a small nod letting her know I'll try. She gets this huge smile and hugs me.
