Alpha Darrell

"Where is Roberts?"

I yelled as I slammed the phone down swiping my arm across the desk and scattering all the papers on the floor.

"We trying to replace him Alpha,"

"He should have called by now!"

I slammed my fist against my desk.

"What do you want us to do Alpha?"

"Send out more scouts, I want to know where he is and what is taking so long,"

It's been three days since he reported saying that, that dam Alpha had held a party for Autumn he also reported they had told her about being a werewolf.

But not before he sent photos of him dancing with her.

My blood boiled when I saw those pictures of his arms around her holding her close to him. You can see how she looked at him. She's not supposed to look at him like that I'm to be the one holding her with her looking at me like that.

He then went on to say how he hasn't left her side. He explained everything that happened at the party and how she ended up in the hospital and how he drove her back to the pack house.

He was gonna make a move he tried to kidnap her parents the plan was to use them to get her to leave the safety of the lack house but that dam brother of hers got in the way, and now Roberts hadn't called.

Roberts

Clicking my phone off I tossed it on the bed. I went back to the bathroom to finish patching myself up. I wasn't expecting that boy to be that strong seems that rotten Alpha left some information out.

I thought with them not belonging to a pack all these years they wouldn't be so trained but dam was I mistaken, The father put up a good fight but he was trying to protect his mate which I had already knocked out. I was able to get him knocked down and out as well but that boy got some good hits in.

Which has led me to stand in this hotel bathroom cleaning my wounds.

I seriously need to come up with a different one now. I figured if I jumped them at their house it be easier seeing how it's far enough away from the safety of the pack house.

I hissed when I started to clean the wound on my stomach. He got a swipe on me now I have three claw marks right across my stomach.

Taking the bandage I begin to wrap around myself. It will take a day or two to heal fully they are kinda deep. Finishing up I toss everything in the trash can and walk out grabbing my phone off the bed before I lay down. Looking at the screen I see I had a s**t ton of missed calls from Alpha Darrell. God this man is working on my last nerve I told him I'd call him when I had something.

Setting my phone on the stand I roll so I stay on my back resting my hands behind my head I let my eyes close I just need to think and come up with a different way to get to her. After all this trouble I may just keep her for myself she is definitely cute enough for me. With that thought I let myself drift off to sleep.

"Keaton, any more information about Roberts we're about and why he attacked Autumn's parents?"

We were sitting in my office looking at anything we had her dad told us what happen up till he got knocked out.

Zach filled in the rest he is still in the clinic resting. I will say that kid put up one heck of a fight he had some wounds to his upper body along with a broken arm.

We ended up telling Autumn they had a car accident, Her father ain't want her to know what happen till we knew who it was.

By the description, Zach gave im certain it was Roberts. But why go after her parents, I'm gonna have to keep a close watch Zach said he injured him as well so that means he will lay low for a few days.

I don't want her out of my sight but with her school, it's kinda hard. Oscar and his group keep an eye on her when they are there she always has one of them with her at all times.

She goes and sees her brother then she comes here to my office afterward. This is something she started doing on her own it made my wolf jump for joy in my head when ever she came in.

When she comes in she comes straight to me I grab her hand laying a soft kiss on the top. She blushes every time we talk for a few then she goes over to the couch and starts to work on her school work.

I know she is starting to feel more of the bond and now I'm sure her wolf isn't so dormant. I can feel the present closer now then I did before.

"We tracked him to a local hotel the scout found bloody bandages and stuff to patch himself up but nothing after that, they are still looking,"

Keaton explains as he is reading over some papers.

"Dam it, alright have them keep looking I don't like this he's planning something,"

"I already told them that," He says with a huge smile like he won something.

"Have Matt come up here I need to discuss something with him,"

"Yes Alpha,"

I looked back to the paper I was reading which was all about that Alpha Darrell and I must say this man is crazy, There are reports that he had killed his mate.

What the hell is wrong with this man? His pack is having financial issues. I see he drained the last of his accounts which I sure that's how he paid Roberts.

There was a knock at the door.

"Come in," calling out while I kept reading. The door opens and in walks Matt.

"Alpha you wanted to see me?"

Laying the papers down I look up at him.

"Yes Matt, I have something I wanted to talk to you about,"

"Of course Alpha,"

"We seem to have lost the trail on Roberts, he seems to be hiding and waiting I do not like this so I wanted to talk to you about pulling Autumn out of school and having tutors here for her,"
