Chapter 59

Autumn

I'm not sure when I fell asleep but I woke when I felt a jerk as the vehicle came to a stop. Looking out the window I could see much it was dark out my door opened as he leaned in unclipping my belt. "Come on," I see say.

He grabbed my arm as I lifted my leg to step out he pulled me to stand. Feeling a rush of dizziness sweep over me I shut my eyes leaning back against the car trying to steady myself.

I felt hands on my face making me snap my eyes open. He was staring at me.

"I think she gave you too much you shouldn't be like this,"

Squinting my eyes to read his lips my head was spinning and the headache I had felt like someone hit me with a ton of bricks.

I could feel my legs giving when he scooped me up bridle-style he kicked the door closed.

Turning he walked toward a small cabin there were no lights on it looked so dark he stopped at the door opened it he walked straight in I couldn't see anything but them again I could barely keep my eyes open with all this pain in my head. Leaning down he set me on what felt like a couch letting my head tilt back against the back of the cushion and closing my eyes.

I could hear him moving around but didn't look I just wanted this pain to stop.

I felt his hand tapping my face opening my eyes he stood there.

Holding his hand out I see there were two white tablets in his palm.

Looking back up to him I didn't want to take anything he gave me. Seeing my hesitation,

"Take them they will help with the pain and help the drug wear off,"

I slowly reached out to take the pills as I popped them in my mouth he handed me a bottle of water.

Downing the pills with the water I gave him the bottle back he took it setting it on the end table.

He sat on the table in front of me just looking at me I couldn't take it anymore.

"Why did you bring me here?"

He tilted his head a bit just staring at me.

"Well, I replace you very interesting, and after all the crap that dam Alpha pulled I decided that you would be my payment,"

His payment my heart dropped what did he mean,

"Payment?"

"Yes, he didn't give me the full payment plus he caused a lot of headaches so I figured the hell with it, and now you're my payment,"

He acted so casually like it was no big deal but it was how could he act like im a piece of property or an object? I still didn't fully understand why that other guy wanted me and called me his mate, I'd never met him before and he was a lot older than me. "Why, I'm a nobody!"

He shakes his head.

"No, my sweet little one, you are more special than you realized, I have great plans for us but first we need to get rid of that mark on your neck, can't have my woman running around with another men mark now can I," Reins

Chase had brought all rogues back and got them all locked in the dungeons.

Sitting in my office I was about to call Alpha Brett when my door opens and in walked Keaton and Zach. I raised an eyebrow at them Zach was limping and Keaton's arm was heavily bandaged. "What are you two doing out of the clinic?"

"We're here to help, what do you think we stay down long while Autumns missing,"

Keaton says as he sits down in front of my desk.

"You can barely walk both of you so what help are you gonna give? you two need to go back and rest,"

"I'm not going anywhere till we replace my sister," Zach says as he sat down.

I groan as I run my hand throw my hair I didn't have time for this.

"So what's the plan what have you found so far?" Keaton asked

"We found their camp, also we found Alpha Darrel along with Rachel dead, Roberts is missing he took Autumn with him,"

"Roberts? But why?" Keaton had a stumped look.

"And why kill Alpha Darrel?" Zach asked.

"I don't know but I need to get ahold of that Beta and I'm reaching out to Alpha Brett and see if his boy knows anything, I know he and Rachel were hanging out for a while,"

"I'll call Darrel Beta," Keaton stands walking over to the small desk he uses.

"What do you want me to do?" Zach sits up straighter.

"If I say go back and wait with your mother would you?"

I know Autumn would be upset at her brother for pushing himself when he's hurt.

"No, I can't I need to be here helping replace her she's my only sister and I'm not losing another sibling,"

His voice broke at those last words and the hurt on his face showed how much he cared for her.

"Alright, Chase is in the dungeon go replace him he's trying to get more information on where Roberts may have gone,"

"Yes, Alpha," He stands up turning and limping out of the office.

Picking the phone up I dial Alpha Brett's number. One ring, two rings, three rings, then I hear a click.

"Alpha Reins, what can I do for you?"

"Alpha Brett, I need to speak with you and your son Dan, "

"Oh, what about? Is there a problem,"

"It's not something to discuss over the phone when would you be able to be here?"

There was a long pause I could hear murmuring on the other end.

"Alpha Reins im not sure about that, as my son has just found his mate and we are in the process of the Luna ceremony,"

"Oh, that's perfect, Please have her come with I would love to meet her as this is very important and needs immediate action,"

Another pause and more mumbling.

"Alright, we will leave in a half hour, "

"Great," Was all I said as I hung up.
