Autumn

We got my parents settled in the pack house Dad was tired after that little bit even though he was healed physically his energy wasn't fully back.

Helping mom get him situated in bed he had fallen asleep rather quickly. I gave Mom one more hug and then left to replace Reins and them waiting for me in his office.

Opening the door I stepped in everyone was there Reins looked over to me holding his hand out I walk to him placing mine in his he pulled me down to sit on his lap wrapping his arms around my waist and holding me there.

"Where would we begin to look? I mean no one had seen her since before the attack," Oscar said while pacing in front of the desk.

"Oscar would you sit down your making me nauseous with all the back and forth," Keaton scolded him.

"Sorry," Oscar says as he sits in the chair.

"Alright, Now Ariel the place you met her before you say it empty?"

"Yes, that's the first place I went to when she didn't show up with my sister,"

I look at her and see Zach place a hand on her shoulder, I smile at his willingness towards her and the support I've talked a little with her she seems nice and cares a lot for her sister just as Zach does me the hurt she feels with not replaceing her sister shows on her face and you can hear it in her voice.

"Wonder if Morgan would know she followed her for a while or maybe even the other two of her group,"

"I'll call Morgan in," Oscar says as he gets up going out the office door.

"Has anyone gone through her room?" Kelly asked.

Reins shook his head. "No, I don't think so," He looks over to Keaton.

"Keaton."

"No, we didn't get a chance to,"

"I'll do it!" Kelly stood up.

"Alright, Brad go help her you replace anything let me know immediately, "

"Yes Alpha," They both bow them walk out.

Nick sat there he was looking at his phone looking lost like he wasn't really paying attention to what was being said.

"Somethings wrong," Gem growled out.

Turning my head I look at Reins his eyes locked with mine.

"What is it Gem?" I hear him whisper

"He's hiding something, and it's not good,"

Looking back at Nick he was still staring at his phone.

"Nick why don't you and Keaton do a stop at Rachel's other to friends see if they have seen or heard from her,"

He looks up from his phone you could see the bead of sweat on his forehead.

His face was flushed he had a very dazed look.

"Nick are you alright," I stood walking to him and kneeling in front of him he was in a cold sweat short shallow breaths.

I reached out to touch his face he was burning up. Soon as my hand made contact his eyes rolled back and he passed out falling forward into my arms.

"Reins!"

Both he and Keaton rushed over grabbing him and laying him down on the couch.

"Here let me look," Ariel came over to him. She checked a few things then she put both her hands together over his chest rubbing them back and forth she whispered some words.

Nick twisted and arched his back letting out a groan.

"What happening to him!" I cried out.

Reins held me back as I tried moving closer.

"Let her finish," His voice was calm and steady.

Ariel closed her eyes and a small light glowed from her hands dancing over Nicks's chest.

A few seconds passed and Nick stopped moving he lay quietly there he didn't wake up.

The light disappeared from her hands as she stood turning to us.

"This isn't good," She said while she looked between us all.

"What is it?" Zach asked moving to her side.

"Someone used magic on him, he had a controlling spell on him,"

"Why would someone do that?" I asked as I looked down at Nick.

When she didn't say anything I looked at her. She had tears in her eyes.

"The magic was my sisters,"

"What?" Zach asked moving to stand in front of her.

"How can you know that?" He asked her.

"All spells have their own magical markers on them when we do a spell it carries our markers so other witches will know who is who, it's like DNA for people and werewolves have their individual scent well we have magical markers," "And this spell has your sisters?" Reins asked walking over to stand next to me.

"Yes, but something is off with the spell, controlling spells are strong spells they are to be long-lasting spells, only this spell isn't,"

"You know that how?"

"Because the markers in the spell are barely there, they are weak meaning the spell is weak causing it to wear down faster,"

"How fast or long would it last,?"

"Maybe a day two at the most,"

"Okay, and how would the spell get put on him?"

"Two ways, One the way I did Rachel in person the one doing it is present with the person who is having the spell put on them, The other is the spell gets made into a liquid then put in a small vial, the person then drinks or eats something with it mixed in," "Can you tell how he got the spell put on?"

Before she answered Oscar walked in with Morgan.

"Nick!" He rushed over to him kneeling next to the couch.

"What happen to him?"

"It's a lot ill explain it later right now take him to the clinic I'll have the doctor ready," Reins tells Oscar.

"Here I'll help you," Keaton steps forward helping Oscar lift Nick's unconscious body carrying him out of the room.

Once they walked out I looked at Ariel.

"Finish please,"

She looked a Zach he gave her a small nod.

"I think it was Liquid form seeing as it's weak, my sister doesn't know how this spell works as she hasn't learned it yet, I've only done simple spells with her,"

"But why would she put a spell on Nick?" Zach asked while rubbing Ariel's arm.

"Rachel," Reins says causing us to look at him.

"She must be using him to learn information she knows he's close to Autumn,"

"That's why she didn't let her go yet," Ariel cried burying her face in Zach's chest.

"Ariel the tracking spell you used to help us before can you use it to replace your sister or even Rachel?"

She sniffled wiping her tears say with her hand.

"No, I've tried with her being a hybrid she has her scent blocked and she doesn't even know she did it, and Rachel I gave her a potion to block her I thought if I tried tracking my markers I would replace her but I can't replace the markers anywhere," "What about Nick?" I asked as a thought popped into my head.

They looked at me.

"Nick has met up with her, right? So let's track his steps!"

Ariel looked at me then a look flashed across her face.

"Yes! It's a different kind of tracking spelling but I can track where he has gonna for the last two maybe three days!"

Just then the door open Kelly and Brad came rushing in.

"Alpha we found something!"
