Reins

I couldn't believe the situation that we were sitting in the middle of. Not only did they arrest me in my own pack they almost let Rachel get away. Now I'm sitting in my own dungeon locked up like some criminal that broke the rules the only rule I broke was attacking the moron of a council member. Now I'm stuck listening to her never ending rant, Letting out a growl hoping it would shut her up.

Hearing a small whimper she settled back against the wall but her face showed she was still angry.

Dropping my head in my hands I shut my eyes open my thoughts went to my mate.

Gem managed to stop me from killing that idoit I couldn't believe he was buying what that women spoke of. Anyone in the right mind could sense her lies.

I was afraid to let them see how much power Autumn and Gem held worried that they will try and use that to there advantage.

"Having thoughts of your mate,"

Her voice held so much distain in it. Groaning international at her I just rubbed my temples.

"Why would I share anything with you?"

I growled at her hoping she got the drift.

"It's your own fault your down here, matter of fact this is all your fault!"

Lifting my head I glare at her.

"How is this my fault? Your the one who went against your Alpha your own pack!"

"Well if you would have looked pass your own nose you would had seen me! You know how hard I tried to get your attention but nope you wouldn't give me the time of day, but then that little girl walks right in here and takes what should have been mine in the first place,"

"She is my mate! And your Luna," My rage building at her words.

"Ha, she just a child,"

"A child? Rachel you are the same age,"

"Not in all areas, I'm much better Luna material then her she to naive she weak, I'm stronger then her I would have given you more then her!"

"Rachel where in your messed up mind would you think id choose someone over my fated mate? I have never given female in this pack the idea of anything happening between me and them, You know this we have never spoke other then at the training field I spent no extra time with you, you had your own mate waiting out there, this is all on you no one forced you to do the things you did it was all your own doing, even now after you have be caught you are still causing so much turmoil, just stop already it's enough," "Why couldn't you just see me?"

She had tears falling glancing at her the look on her face I wasn't sure how to read her. She looked heart broken but I just didn't understand why I just didn't give her any leads that suggest anything other then her being a pack member.

"Rachel, I did see you just not the way you wanted me to, I'm the Alpha of the pack and you are a pack member just like Lisa and Tori I've watch you girls grow up, yes I became Alpha at a young age and yes im not much older then you, but even if I didn't replace my mate and had to take a chosen mate I would have not picked you, I do not look at any of you members that way, I would have chosen from another pack, The whole purpose for that is I didn't want anyone from here to feel I choose one over the other and have hurt feeling or a ripple go through the pack,"

I heard her sniffle wiping her tears away her heart beat had steady out it wasn't beating as if it would leave her body, She was slowly calming down her angry was coming down. Sighing I stood walking to the bars that separated out cells.

"Rachel if you tell the truth I will help you, I will put in for you to remain locked up and not be excuted, but you need to admit what you did,"

I knew Autumn would be mad at that but I really needed Rachel to trust me and get her to open up about what she did and maybe this way she will. She let a scoff out,

"Yeah right, after everything I've done,"

"You're still a member of my pack Rachel as your Alpha It's my duty to help my pack members if you want my help I will do my best to help you,"

"I've done so much I've hurt so many I let jealousy cloud my mind, I'm not even sure anymore."

"You can start by telling the truth,"

"The truth? I don't even know what that is anymore,"

Tears fall down her face again.

"Let's start with are you really pregnant?"

She sniffled just a little lifting her head.

"Yes, I am,"

"Okay, And who is the father?"

Closing her eyes she leaned her head back against the wall.

"My mates,"

"Your mates?"

"Yes, He's one of your warriors but after we slept together I rejected him I didn't think I would end up pregnant by him,"

"Okay, You do know that the law states that a female wolf can not be excuted with being with child,"

"Yes, but once I have the baby I know im dead,"

"Not necessarily, I can put in a petition to give you life in the council prison,"

"They would never allow that and plus what would happen to my child?"

"Well he or she would go to the father, and yes I'm sure they would allow that they have bigger trails and criminals to deal with then what you have done,"

I know I stretching the truth a bit but I really needed her to believe me she was caving slowly but she was almost there.

"Rachel look at me,"

She lifts her head her eyes meet mine.

"As the Alpha of this pack have I ever let any harm come to my members? "

She shakes her.

"Have I never stood up for anyone in my pack?"

Again she shakes her head no.

"So trust me Rachel when I tell you I will help you,"

She closed her eyes my stomach dropped when she didn't answer right away.

She looked at me standing up she walked to the bars.

"Alright Alpha, I need your help and im ready to face my crimes and admit all my wronging I've done to people including your mate and my Luna,"
