Alpha's Human Luna
Chapter 2

"Decisions on life and death will be made shortly."

Neme gives me a sympathetic glance. "I'm scared," she says. I sigh and smile a little bit.

With a smirk on her face, the lady moves a deck to Neme's right.

Using four heaps of stones, she splits the piles of stones.

"Choose one from each of the piles," the woman says.

"Your collection includes a crystal, a pearl, and a moonstone. What do you think of your collection? In this case, the crystal symbolizes your inner infantile fun, and the pearl represents your inner purity. The sword is a symbol of bravery and strength in battle."

"Great." Neme takes a few steps backward.

Afterward, the lady looks at me as though she expects me to stand and take over for Neme.

As I get more concerned, my hands begin to sweat a little. My surroundings are being watched by Neme, I take a seat in the chair.

"Would you mind sharing your name?"

I sneeze a little bit more. With trepidation, I said, "Susan."

After a few moments, the lady closes her eyes. While I'm waiting for her to say anything, I notice her ice-cold grip.

"Cold. Although it is quite cold, your weakness will be your gentle heart, but you should not be afraid of taking on responsibilities, it's your destiny, and you should take it."

She takes a deep breath and continues. The woman tightens her grip on my wrist, rather than holding them. It hurts in my arms, and I take a few steps back in surprise. As I attempt to run, she holds on tight.

It is only after the lady opens her eyes that I notice that her eyes are entirely black with no sign of white...

I shout and yank as hard as I can away from her, In response, Neme rises to her feet.

"Run," I yell at the top of my voice.

It's a mad run out the door for me and Neme.

"It is impossible to avoid your fate!" She screams at the top of her voice. I notice how chilly it is when we go outside. As we race into the car, Neme takes my hand.

"I swear we will never go to another fortune-telling."

I breathe a sigh of relief when I see she is not following us." She had my wrists in the palm of her hand in the blink of an eye.

A chilly air nudges my nose, causing me to raise my eyes to the sky. The dark clouds begin to spew snowflakes on the ground. "I hate driving in the snow."

I enter via the passenger door and take a seat in the car.

"Promise me that this will not happen again," I suggest that we take a little drive.

Neme makes a thudding motion with her head.

"

Neme stares me in the eyes with her blue eyes. Her knuckles are becoming white as she grips the steering wheel with her hands.

"I'm sorry, but I have to tell you something."

"I dated a lot of guys in high school."

I give a cautious nod, apprehensive of what is going to happen next. I nod my head once more.

"But, I'm still a virgin,"

She turns to face me, a little glint in her eyes from having revealed her secret to me.

I'm taken aback. The bridge, not the road, is just in front of me. I let out a yell.

I'm left stunned as the glass cover shatters into a million pieces, shattering into a million pieces.

It's squashed my arms and legs together. As I lurch forward, my seat belt pushes me back in my seat. My vision is blurry, and my ears are ringing. My legs are aching, but I have to go see Neme. As she slumps over the steering wheel, blood begins to flow.

No way, Neme!

"Help! Please lend a hand!" Suddenly, my seatbelt buckles as I beg for help.

It makes me groan and weep. As soon as the passenger door swings open, I jump into my seat. Suddenly, I'm confronted with the most mesmerizing pair of eyes.

I say, "Neme," as I draw my eyes closed.

As soon as I wake up, the hammering in my head brings back memories of my car accident. I'm at a loss.

My bed is luxurious, and the pillows are soft and comfortable.

The rest of the area is devoid of life. There are no photos or accessories in the room. A large dresser with two doors sides the bed on each side.

It's possible that anything happened while I was away. Although Neme may be dead, I am not. I make an unsuccessful effort to get up and fall to my knees.

My lips erupt in a shrill scream. Then the door to the bedroom swings open.

Neme runs up to me, clearly worried. My body is gently repositioned on the bed by her. "Susan."

I'm really taken aback by her. "You're still alive," I say as I examine her for any injuries. There is a little scar near her temple where she was raped. "I thought we are in heaven. "

She is dressed in a laid-back manner. She is turning away from me as I return to the slum, and I can see her scarlet neck and shoulder as I go back into it. When Neme leaves the room and closes the door behind me, my query is cut off abruptly.

I, on the other hand, closed my eyes. I fall asleep easily.

When I awaken the following morning, Neme and an unidentified woman are standing over me, waiting for me to come awake.

With her vivacious red hair, piercing green eyes, and light complexion, she is an entrancingly appealing complete stranger.

She looks at me with a bright smile, which only adds to her natural attractiveness.

"Hello, Susan. Because of your sister's telling, I learned about the accident."

"Can you tell me what's going on?"I raise my head, furrowing my brows. I give the female doctor a strange look because I'm afraid to react.
