Alpha's love -
Training
Aria let out a little scream as the wind hit her back, and the air rushed around her. She felt the familiar white hot anger rush through her veins and soon the hum of energy filled the air around her. She forced herself to calm down and forget about Cain for the time being, electricity would do her no good to stop her fall. She wasn't as scared as the first time she had fallen off the cliff after her meeting with the moon goddess, having commanded the wind a second time after she had let loose the lighting storm. Instead she let the wind envelop around her, closing her eyes for a brief moment. Then she sighed a little and asked the wind to stop her fall for her. Almost instantly she came to a abrupt stop and the air was knocked out of her lungs. She said a mental curse to herself for not asking the wind to stop her fall slower before asking for it to raise her back up to Cain so she could beat the shit out of him for pushing her off a cliff.
Mostly, she pitied Marcus because of the mate bond he must have panicked at the thought that she was going to die and that Cain had pushed her to her death. She chuckled at the thought of Marcus beating up Cain but her joke quickly turned to a reality as she reached the top of the cliff and saw that Marcus had Cain pinned and was landing punched on his face. The wind set her gently on her feet several feet away from the cliff and Aria pretended to study her nails as she let Marcus punch Cain a few more times. He needs to be taken down a notch anyways, she thought, grinning.
"Marcus, it's fine I'm good. I asked the wind to help me out..remember the whole I can kinda fly thing." At the sound of her voice Marcus looked up at her, tears in his eyes and his eyes widened as he remembered that she could control the winds. He rolled off of Cain who sat up, nursing his already healing face and shot Aria a grin. Marcus bounded over to Aria enveloping her in a bone-crushing hug murmuring things in her ear as she hugged him back. He pulled back looking slightly embarrassed before shooting a glare at Cain.
"I forgot you could fly. Cassisus just saw him push you off the cliff and immediately wanted to go to your aid, and then Cain pushed you off the f****** cliff and wanted blood." Cain let out a laugh, reminding Aria of her anger and she wiggled out of Marcus's embrace before stepping in front of him. She used every ounce of anger she felt towards Cain, the lack of sleep, disrespectful comments, and his terrible personality to fuel her anger. She used other things too, such as the thought that her mate and those she loved could be killed in the war yet to come, and encouraged the energy around her to gather. Cain sensed her anger and stepped backwards, a glimmer of fear in his eyes as he took in her appearance. She let out a laugh at his fear and basked in the tingles of energy before she held her hands above her eyes and let it go all in one burst, imaging lighting bolts shooting out into the sky. The electricity took the shape that she had thought of and shot out of her hands in the shape of bolts filling the air above them with its electricity. They all stared in awe and slight fear as they watched the electricity crackle in the air around them awaiting Ari's next command. She smirked at Cain before twirling her finger through the air in a spiral manner and directing the electricity with a single thought. In a sudden jerk the energy cut through the air through Cain and before he could react struck down on the ground around him causing him to jump. She allowed the energy to seep into the dirt leaving behind scorched earth and a scared Cain.
Aria stalked over to him and crossed her arms. "You may have been sent here to train me Cain, but I am still an ALPHA and I hope you think twice before disrespecting me again." With that she turned towards her mate who was smirking at her and sent him a smile. A sudden thought crossed her mind and she turned back to Cain who stood staring at the ground at his feet. Despite his former alpha status, he was no longer an alpha and Aria's alpha tone had made him submit.
"Cain, you said that if I could summon a storm I could have the rest of the day off, so I'm taking it." She turned away from him, not bothering to wait for a response as she spoke to Marcus. "I was thinking we could take a trip to Lone Peak Pack and recruit them. We can make it in a few hours and be back by tomorrow morning in time for my practice. Eve says that they are.....hesitant to band together with us against the rogues, and I think if I visit them and show them what I can do, they will join us." Marcus nodded eagerly, excited at the prospect of spending some more time alone with his mate and hurried towards the car that Aria was already striding towards. Cain followed a few steps behind him, his face stony as he climbed silently into the backseat of the car.
