Alpha's love
Traitors

"ATTACK! ATTACK!"

The screams of others woke Aria from her deep sleep quickly. She had been in the middle of a conversation with the Moon Goddess, who had given her orders that she must follow. Orders that, with a heavy heart, Aria knew, would save countless lives. The dread of her conversation filled her once more, along with a sadness as Marcus bolted upright next to her, his eyes bright as he scanned the room for intruders. Aria was quick to throw herself from the bed, as the yells around them increased. Marcus was already pulling the door open, as Eve and Blake appeared, their eyes wide with worry.

"Eve! Have the rogues attacked?" Aria was sprinting down the hall as she yelled the question over her shoulder, Eve hot on her heels.

"No it's something else, someone else is attacking. It's all confusion, no one really knows what's happening. Alpha's are trying to get their packs under control, but it's mayhem!" Aria threw the door open to her pack house, her pack now wide awake and standing in a fighting position behind her as she made her way out of the house. Eve was right, it wasn't rogues that were attacking, and Aria had a pretty good idea who was behind it.

"WHERE IS ALPHA SMITH?!" She roared, taking in the packs who were beginning to gather themselves. Alpha Smith was nowhere to be seen, but his wolves were attacking the other packs, with vicious brutality. She knew in an instant that he had betrayed them. All of the info on the rogues where abouts, and their numbers, was false. They had been counting on having more numbers than the rogues, but that could now be counted out.

The thrum of energy filled Aria as she took in the destruction around her. Tents that had been set up were shredded to pieces, tables crushed, her yard ripped up. Aria was in love with her yard, it was one of her greatest prides and the stupid wolves had ripped it up.

Letting the white hot energy fill her veins, she asked for the winds help again (she had discovered it better to ask the wind to help her than to force it) and pushed all of Alpha Smith's wolves back, flinging them through the air away from the other wolves they had been fighting. Storming off the porch, she swung her hand and let the traitors fly through the air again, their whimpers filling the air. The others packs turned to stare at her in awe, some of the Alpha's even dropping their eyes as she strode past them, eyes blazing. The air around her crackled with electricity and she reveled in it, letting it fill the air. Alpha Smith's pack was struggling to get to their feet as Aria's wind held them down. She stopped in front of them, where the majority of them lay in a pile.

"You thought you could come onto MY land, attempt to kill MY people, tear up MY lawn, betray ME and all the other pack's here, and get away with it?!" Aria threw her hands out, gathering a large force of electricity in front of her. "You messed with the wrong alpha, you sons of bitches." With that she threw the mass of electricity out in front of her, watching as it collided with the traitors. A bright flash of light momentarily blinded her, followed by a fizzing noise as the electricity seared through the traitors bones. By the time the light was gone, and she could see again, the traitors were nothing but a pile of ash. Turning, she saw every single wolf that had come staring at her, a few lying on the ground with their wounds healing from the traitors, others still in wolf form. Aria gave a scowl, "SMITH HAS PROBABLY GONE TO WARN THOSE DAMN ROUGES ABOUT OUR PLAN, WE NEED TO PREPARE FOR WAR....NOW!" The wolves stood for a second more, and then their alpha's began barking out orders, and they scurried off. Marcus had been watching the whole thing from a distance, with a large smile on his face, and now he kissed her before saying,

"No mercy, huh?" She threw a look back over her shoulder at the ashes that were stirring as she asked the wind to blow them away.

"They were a threat to everyone here, they knew what they were doing and still they carried it out. If I had given them mercy they only would have joined the rogues that are coming here, and we don't need any more enemies, or problems." Marcus nodded in agreement,

"You did the same thing that anyone here would have done, had they had your powers-" before he could continue his sentence Eve approached, throwing her a wolfish grin.

"I for one, am glad that I am NOT on the rogues side. I don't have a wish to be turned to ash, not unless I'm being cremated after my death." As always, Blake was right behind Eve, enveloping her in a hug,

"Yes, Mate, I have no wish for you to die either," he murmerd into her neck and Eve blushed. Aria let out a short laugh before remembering the moon goddesses orders. Today, we must sacrifice ourselves, in order for everyone here to live. She thought to herself bitterly. The moon goddess had been clear that she would have to die in order for her mate and everyone else that was here to live. The amount of power that she would have to exert would burn up her body, but she would elecite enough power to kill all of the rogues. That was what the moon goddess had said, she hadn't told Aria how many rogues were coming, but Aria could only assume more than 2,000. The moon goddess wouldn't have told her she must die if they had even a remote chance at winning. Aria wasn't sure how to break the news to everyone, the moon goddess had assured Aria that Marcus would live, but how? The death of a mate was the worst thing that could happen to a wolf, often, soon after a mates death the partner followed. If she were to die, especially after being marked, Marcus would never be the same. He would be enveloped in grief, and pain, and his wolf would go berserk. Milean let out a howl in her head, at the thought of leaving her mate and bringing him pain. Still, Aria murmerd to Milean, he needs to know.

She turned to tell Marcus of what was going to happen to her, and that's when all hell broke out.
