Alphas regret: Magnificent Return of the Rejected Luna -
Alpha’s Redemption The Rise Of The Rejected Luna 62
Chapter 62
I opened the door quickly. "What's wrong?" I asked, my heart racing.
"It's Siles," he said grimly. "He's being attacked. The information about his hiding place was leaked, and now he's in serious trouble,"
I nodded, already reaching for my coat. "Gather the warriors," I instructed. "We're going to replace him." I acted very calmly the whole time, after all, Silas's location was deliberately exposed by me. Everything was going smoothly as I thought it would. In no time, we found ourselves deep in the forest, the cold night air cutting through my clothes and making my skin tingle,
The sounds of snarls and growls filled the air, bouncing off the trees and guiding us toward the chaos.
Ave got closer, I could see a pack of wolves circling Silas.
Their sharp teeth glinted in the moonlight, and their growls were low and menacing.
They were closing in on him, ready to strike at any moment. The tension in the air was thick, and I knew I had to act quickly to save him.
"Go!" I shouted to my warriors. "Chase them away!"
My men sprang into action, their sheer numbers and strength driving the attackers back.
As the wolves scattered into the darkness, my gaze fell on Silas. He was staggering, barely able to stand, his body covered in wounds.
"Silas!" I called out, rushing to his side. He collapsed to the ground, shifting back into his human form.
His once, proud posture was gone, replaced by the frailty of a man who had been pushed to his limits.
I knelt beside him, cradling his head in my lap. "Silas, wake up!" I said urgently, shaking him gently. "Please, open your eyes!"
Slowly, his eyes fluttered open, and when he saw me, tears welled up in his eyes. "Lorelei," he whispered, his voice weak.
"I'm here," I said softly, brushing his hair away from his face.
"I've missed you," he said, his voice shaking slightly as he spoke.
"A this time, through everything, you've been the only one on my mind.
You're the only person I've trusted, the only one who's ever really been there for me." His words were filled with emotion, and I could see the pain in his eyes as he spoke,
It was clear how much he had been struggling and how much he valued our connection, even after everything that had happened.
I forced a sympathetic smile, even as my mind raced.
Every word he said, every tear he shed, was playing perfectly into my plan.
I brought Silas back to the Snowtooth Pack under the cover of darkness. He looked weak and defeated, his once-proud demeanor shattered by weeks of suffering.
His face was pale, and his clothes hung loosely on his gaunt frame.
I led him to a small, hidden restaurant in the outskirts of the territory, a place where no one would recognize him.
As soon as the food was placed on the table, Silas devoured it with desperation.
He didn't care about table manners or appearances, shoveling food into his mouth like a starving man.
It was a pitiful sight. I sat across from him, sipping on a glass of water and watching him with feigned concern.
"Slow down, Silas," I said softly, reaching out to place a hand on his arm. "You'll make yourself sick if you eat like that."
Silas paused, looking up at me with watery eyes. "I haven't had a proper meal in so long," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "I didn't think I'd

I gave him a small, comforting state. "Tote safe to take care of you"
After finishing the meat, Sales leaned back in his chair and sighed heavily. For a moment, he looked like the man he used to be-a powerful Alpha who fond one commanded respect and 1***
But then his shoedders stumped, and the weight of his circumstances seemed to crash down on him again.
"When will this nightmare end?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. "I can't keep living like this, constantly looking over my shoulder."
I tilted my head slightly, pretending to be deep in thought, as if I was carefully considering the best way to approach the situation.
After a pause, 1 looked at Silas with a serious expression.
been trying to come up with a solution, I began, letting my voice carry a tone of concern and determination.
"It hasn't been easy, but I've reached out to the Alpha King
I've explained your situation and begged him to reconsider.
He's not someone who changes his mind easily, but I think there's a small chance I can convince him to cancel your punishment."
I paused deliberately, letting the weight of my words sink in, watching as hope flickered in Silas's tired eyes. "It's going to take a lot of work," I Continued, sighing as if the burden was heavy. "The Alpha King is strict, and overturning a decision like this isn't something that happens overnight. But I promise, Silas, I'm doing everything I can for you."
Silas's eyes lit up with hope. "Really? You can do that?
