William’s P.O.V.

My heart almost stopped beating for a few seconds, and Vincent gasped aloud in horror when Cynthia asked that dreaded question. What if something bad was really happening to Crystal’s mother? I shuddered hard, and my wolf, Aero, growled aloud in anger.

Crystal went pale in horror in front of my eyes, making me grip the armrest of my chair tightly. When I said to Theo that she is not only my sister but a daughter to me, I meant my words.
