Alpha’s Slave Luna -
Chapter 100
Conrad's
POV:
"Once my warriors have killed you both, no one will ever know that I was defeated by a slave, and I will let the warriors tear you to pieces!"
I looked at Ryan, the once Grey Pack Alpha, now howling so helplessly, like a defeated dog, and my heart was filled with nothing but shock and pride.
I had thought that even though Otis had become so strong now, it would still take a lot of effort to take on Ryan, but I couldn't have imagined that she would have defeated him so quickly with such beautiful skills. She is the proudest companion of my heart, the noble descendant of the Moon God, the Luna of the Blue-moon Pack.
Suddenly I felt movement all around me, the Dusk Pack warriors surrounded us, so thickly blocking all the gaps that I felt even the bugs couldn't fly through their midst.
There were so many of them, hundreds at a mere glance, a number that I had felt desperate before, but I strangely did not feel any fear now.
No end of power pulsed inside my body, and a feeling suddenly came over me in this moment.
It was that mere numbers could no longer defeat me now.
"Otis, go rest next, and I will leave Ryan's life to you."
I stood in front of Otis with a calm face, I knew the hatred between her and Grey Pack, but these Dusk Pack warriors were a test case for my strength.
The power that had no bounds was almost like a consciousness coming out of my body, like a beast that was about to become unbearable.
I would use the blood of all of them to see what kind of power I had after being reborn.
"Conrad, if you're feeling tired, let me help you."
"Don't worry, I'm a different person now than I was before."
"I just don't want you to be in danger again."
Suddenly Otis's voice had some trembling in it that made my heart jump and I looked at the light in her gaze and some pity appeared in my heart.
At that moment in the desert when I was dying, I couldn't imagine how sad she would have been, just as when Otis almost lost his life in front of me, the pain that I could feel, she felt the same.
It is only when we have both experienced the pain of almost losing each other that we can appreciate each other more.
It is a bond that is strong in our hearts.
In this moment my connection with her seemed to grow even stronger, her place in my heart became even stronger, and I was in this moment unquestionably certain that she would be my eternal beloved companion.
I let out a breath and then I looked at her with my unmistakable seriousness and my tone became gentle.
"I swear to the Moon God that I will return to you without the slightest damage, I will be with you and not leave you alone."
With that said I walked towards the Dusk Pack warriors without the slightest fear, while Otis stayed behind me.
"Conrad, you stupid bastard, to try to take on so many of my men by yourself, I await the moment when you are so exhausted that you have no strength left!"
With Ryan's laughter, two Dusk Pack warriors had rushed forward, and behind these two Dusk Pack warriors, there were more warriors in uncountable numbers.
Like ants surrounding their prey, they were able to crush it completely just by sheer numbers.
"Conrad, even if you have great strength, I am sad to tell you that strength alone is not enough to achieve victory!"
Ryan's laughter echoed in my ears, and the two warriors at the front had opened their mouths full of sharp teeth. I looked at them calmly.
I was surprised to replace that I felt no threat from their sharp teeth and I couldn't even think of resisting them.
How about using them to test the strength of my body now?
I don't know what was wrong with me at this moment, maybe I was crazy, I actually had this amazing thought that I wanted to use my own flesh and blood to defend myself against their teeth!
I did not stop my madness.
Faced with the sharp teeth of the two warriors, II stood upright without dodging, allowing them to tear towards my body.
The next moment, their sharp teeth managed to bite into my muscles.
Otis' cry of surprise came from behind me, but I gazed calmly at the Dusk Pack warriors around me, my muscles contracting a little under the force of their bite, and the slight pain coming from my body made me not even want to look down to watch. It was far too slight.
I was not wrong in my estimation, I felt the bites of these warriors not even able to penetrate my skin, their teeth were like toys made of foam.
If ants surrounded a beetle and were able to bite it to death little by little, I was a spider made of steel, and the number of ants no longer played any part in the advantage.
My strength was already so far above theirs that I even I felt I was almost out of the realm of werewolves.
Was this what true power felt like.
I was overwhelmed with the feeling of it all, and after the two Dusk Pack warriors had torn at me for a while but couldn't penetrate my skin, they had given up in some horror and then shuddered and started backing away. "What the hell is wrong with that monster, I can't even hurt him one bit, it's as if my sharp teeth are just massaging him!"
"Monster, his body isn't even made of flesh, it's as if I'm biting into a rock ......"
The actions of the two warriors seemed to anger Ryan, whose voice became even more furious and frantic.
"What the hell are you two losers doing, everyone else, go ahead and rip that proud and arrogant Conrad apart!"
With his angry voice, the piled up wolves rushed towards me, their huge numbers caused the ground to shake slightly, countless pairs of bloodied eyes gazed at my body, if it was the old me, I would have inevitably just run away. But I looked at such a horrible sight and smiled.
"I will make this golden desert turn blood red."
With the endless power pouring out of my body, I charged forward without any dodging, entering the wave formed by the Dusk Pack warriors in a flash.
I let their claws rake over my body, I didn't look at the sharp teeth, I just crushed their fragile bodies with my absolute power.
Red blood rushed into the air, hard white bones snapped like twigs, the bodies of these warriors were like soft sacks, and as soon as I pierced these sacks with ease, their insides shot out in a blur of my power.
Blood spread beneath my feet, all I had to do was swing my claws at will and any being that stood in my way was reduced to pieces, those wolves that tore at me, theirs couldn't even slow me down with their weight.
It was a display of absolute power, an unimaginable strength far beyond that of a mundane werewolf, the ultimate treasure given to werewolves by the Moon God.
The killing made my eyes grow bloodshot, the thrill of killing made every cell in my body come alive and I could not stop butchering their lives, and when the warriors around me became a little thinner, I looked back to see a path filled with blood and bones already forming.
It was a blood red path over thirty feet in length, the golden desert no longer showing traces of its original colour.
I used my power to cause the ranks of the Dusk Pack warriors to be completely torn apart, and I didn't even feel a moment's weariness as hundreds of lives disappeared from my hands.
This is the true power of the Wolf Pearl, this is the power that a Wolf King should have, the power to turn the countless enemies before me into an ocean made of corpses!
I stood quietly at the end of the bloody road, the corpses and bones on the ground surrounded me, the power of the Wolf Pearl entered the centre of my heart, and although the scene before me was almost no different from hell, the Wolf Pearl used his power to slowly make my heart become calm.
It was as if this inner power was what a wolf king should have, a majesty that belonged to a king, and after this regaining of life, it was as if I had the power to control everything.
I looked down at all the Dusk Pack warriors, gazing at them with a calm and majestic gaze.
"A monster, this is simply a monster, there is no way we can defeat him!"
"How can a werewolf defeat such a terrible monster, his power is almost like that of a god!"
"No, I don't want to die here like this, how can we give our lives to a monster!"
The warriors of the Dusk Pack stopped their attack in panic, perhaps it was the bloodshed, perhaps it was the powerlessness in the face of a powerful enemy, the fear was inside the eyes of these warriors, none of them dared to approach me again, some of them even started to run away.
"What the hell are you losers doing, you are one of my Dusk Pack's legions, together you have enough power to destroy an ordinary wolf pack, can't you still deal with a mere man!"
Ryan cursed angrily, his anger causing his wounds to split even wider, yet he didn't stop his movements.
"You're all a bunch of useless bastards, kill me all of you, no matter how good this guy is, if you drain him of his strength he's dead, kill this guy for me!"
Ryan said as he dragged his trembling body back towards the back, trying to get some of the Dusk Pack fighters to protect him, but no one had the guts to do so.
They made way with panicked faces, as if directing me to kill Ryan, who was already badly wounded.
No one dared to stand in my way now, blood-filled footprints left on the ground, and there were only corpses in my path.
"Ryan, let me make you understand something right now."
We looked at him with a calm and cold gaze, as if we were looking at a corpse.
"In the face of absolute power, even more numbers are still useless."
