Alpha’s Slave Luna -
Chapter 63
Otis's POV:
This was yet another gathering of eyes, a moment when everyone was watching me.
My mind recalled the disgusted faces of those people in the Grey Wolf Pack.
Unlike those previous gazes of ridicule, suspicion, and dislike, the faces of the warriors were filled with a variety of complex emotions, from shock to admiration to doubt, but only the same gazes as before.
This kind of gaze shone on my body as if I had been reacquainted, as if a sharp arrow had cut through the vortex of memories of the previous dimness, and the heavy and invisible chains of slaves on my body seemed to shatter to the ground, making my body a lot easier. This is the feeling of having power.
I felt the energy flowing inside my body and looked at Marsh, who was once incredibly powerful in front of me, and now I actually had the power to defeat him, a change that almost made me addicted. "Mr. Marsh, thank you for competing with me."
I wanted to seriously thank him, but as I was speaking I was aware of uncontrollable fluctuations inside my voice, it was excitement and trembling, so I calmed my emotions with all my might. "The Blue-moon Pack is still in recovery time, and I'm going to continue to ramp up my training now."
Marsh's eyes seemed to be on me as well, and when I spoke a smile suddenly appeared on his face, a smile that seemed to contain nothing but relief and the sincerity of a friend.
"Maybe it's because you've worked hard like this that you're able to be as strong as you are today, and it's not a coincidence."
After saying that Marsh shook his head and walked to the sandbag area.
"I'm going to continue training too, I'm not willing to be overtaken by you like this."
I looked at his back and suddenly froze, his words echoed in my heart, my heart appeared a kind of fluctuation, then my gaze looked around and looked at the warriors who had been training hard.
Their bodies still had sweat that hadn't dissipated, and exhaustion was carved on their faces like a knife, and some of them were even breathing rapidly, as if they hadn't recovered from the strenuous training. Every werewolf was training hard for the wolf pack, and every werewolf was working incredibly hard, and my level of effort was not much stronger than theirs.
I was able to have my current strength solely because I was just luckier, I had the protection of Conrad, and I had the bloodline given by my parents.
So I have to train harder to be able to afford the luck I've been given.
This is a gift given to me by the Moon God, but I can't become complacent because of this gift.
Such clarity appeared in my heart, and in such a short moment, all the excitement and pride and all the stirring emotions in my heart calmed down.
I felt my heart become tougher, and the weakness of the past seemed to disappear completely in this moment.
I calmly stepped out of my stride and walked towards the depths of the training ground.
The warriors around me saw my movements and then, as if they had a sense, made way for me at the same time. The midday sun shone through those trees on the road ahead, making the road look incomparably brilliant. My footsteps did not pause, nor did my gaze shift, as I weaved my way through the eyes of these warriors until I passed through their surroundings.
My training began again, and I was held to a stricter standard than before.
Leaves fell to the ground one by one under the wind, and by the time the leaves on the ground had pooled to become a carpet, the sunlight overhead had dulled.
I saw the wolves in charge of hygiene sweeping those fallen leaves, while I walked towards the entrance of the training ground.
Although my body was already full of power, sweat was all over my body after this day of training.
The wetness made me feel uncomfortable. Conrad was going to give me a good rest today, so I had to quickly go back and take a shower so he wouldn't replace out.
I thought of his charming cheeks, fear of being discovered by him became more intense, my senses sensitive to capture the surrounding movement, avoiding myself accidentally touching the passing Conrad. Luckily, there were no accidents on the road.
My pace also became fast and I quickly walked towards the villa. I was completely relieved when I changed into the gold patterned dress.
At this time the sunlight outside the window had become even dimmer, the dusk glow foretold the time now, it was almost time for dinner.
At this moment I suddenly thought that Conrad only has a maid, although he does not treat me as a maid now, but others do not know this news, and no one to bring him dinner.
He even needs to go to the kitchen himself.
When I thought of this, my heart suddenly jumped, and the calmness that had been brewing was completely shattered in this instant.
Damn, why didn't I think of this earlier?
Nervousness appeared in my heart, then I quickly ran to the kitchen again.
By this time the cooks had already prepared the evening meal, and I just needed to pick out Conrad's favorite flavors from it, but it still took time.
I did my best to speed up my speed, and when the plates were ready, I quickly walked towards the table in Conrad's room, but when I came around a corner, a tall figure suddenly appeared in front of me.
The figure appeared so abruptly that I barely had time to react and slammed my arm into the figure's body, the plate tilted uncontrollably, and the charming smell of the tall figure entered my lungs. Oh no, Conrad!
In this instant my head went blank and I stared blankly at his face even forgetting to hold the dinner plate.
"You've improved your strength so much why do you still move so stupidly."
"No, I just..."
Suddenly my ears rang with Conrad's helpless voice, I wanted to explain to him, but at this moment the scene of me carrying him to the training appeared inside my mind, which made me at once do not know how to speak. Just at this time, I saw his hand come out in a flash, and while catching the dinner plate, his other hand actually swept me directly onto his chest.
The spark spread inside my body, my partner's scent took control of my brain in an instant, and I seemed to melt into him again, my breathing became rapid.
Conrad took a whiff of dinner through the lid, and the next moment amazement appeared inside his eyes.
"Is this you preparing my dinner?"
"Well, I thought that if I didn't prepare it, you wouldn't have another maid."
I blushed in response and a smile appeared within his gaze as he looked at me, the corners of his mouth curving up in a seductive curve.
"Otis, you really are the right choice for me."
His magnetic voice sounded in my ears, and his hot breath seemed to caress my neck, and I felt the heat of my body seem to be heating up even more, and a longing appeared in my body once again.
I was surprised for a moment, after our mutual intercourse, I did not expect this longing to come so quickly.
After that he let go of me and led me to the dining room of his room.
I don't know if it was for atmosphere or what, but he lit a candle nearby.
The meal became very cozy and we sat across from each other and slowly enjoyed our dinner.
It was the first time I had eaten dinner with him in such close proximity. The wavering light of the candle flame shone on his angular face and I looked at him out of breath.
"Otis, I actually know about your visit to the training ground today."
I don't know when he finished the last of his steak, and the next thing I heard was a voice that shocked me.
He knew about my lack of rest? How could that be, I didn't even run into him on the way!
Could it be those werewolves from the training ground?
My face became tense, my heart became several times faster in a sudden, anxious as if some ants were crawling on top of my heart.
"No, Conrad you listen to me explain, I just..."
"There's no need to explain."
Suddenly I saw his face turn serious and abruptly stand up from the table, the candle flame next to him extinguished by the wind he brought up.
In this moment I was terrified.
Conrad was angry? What should I do, I actually made him angry.
My mind remembered the image of him being angry, and a long-lost fear grew inside me.
But before I could think more, the next moment I felt a force acting on my waist, making my body appear in mid-air, and Conrad's warm lips instantly blocked my voice.
I was stunned by the sight, his scent filled my nostrils, his smooth tongue explored the inside of my mouth, I was so engrossed in his kiss that the fear I had just felt disappeared in a flash.
This time he raised his head and looked at me with appreciation in his gaze.
"I know you beat Marsh in the competition, Otis, you did a great job."
After that he walked to the room with my body in his arms.
"How could dinner taste sweeter than you, I said I would make it up to you."
My body rose and fell in his embrace as my mind echoed the words he said.
Instead of blaming me, he complimented me.
It was as if my heart was blooming with patches of violets, sweet pollen floating in my heart, and then I pressed my head against his chest.
"Well, I listen to you all the time."
