Alpha’s Slave Luna -
Chapter 97
Otis's
POV:
My beloved companion, as beautiful as the gods, who had come back to life in real life before my eyes.
"Conrad!"
I trembled with excitement, my uncontrollable feelings exploded, and I clung to him with all my strength, pressing my cheek against his pure, unblemished chest.
The touch of that skin became stronger and more elastic, warmth enveloped me and sent unimaginable scents to my nostrils, a fresh enchanting scent that seemed to send me soaring through the sky in a flash.
I brought my hand up trembling and stroked his long blonde hair that had become longer as it fell around his face, and I almost melted into his body, my frame following suit and becoming devoid of strength. Now far more captivatingly scented, stronger, and with more perfect skin than before, everything about him became magnificent, completely out of the ordinary werewolf range. "Otis ...... I'm sorry I worried you."
Conrad's voice was tinged with apology as he caressed my cheek with his warm hand, the light of the sky reflecting inside his pupils, the tenderness in his eyes seemingly sucking me in. "Thanks to your bloodline that awakened the wolf pearl, I now feel true power beyond any ordinary werewolf, I now have the power to overcome all dangers, no one can ever hit you again!" "Conrad, no...... it's enough that I just want you by my side, I just want to love you deeply."
"Otis......
Suddenly I felt a mixture of warmth and enchanting breath muffle my voice, his tongue stirring with me like a soft cloud, his every movement full of power, full of endless life.
Tears kept flowing from inside my eyes, my eyes closed as I felt his claim on me, and I clung to his body, wishing only that time would just stop here forever.
I never want it to again, I never want my partner to be hurt like this, I just want the one I love to be intact and by my side.
We kissed and hugged hard, the wolf beads in mid-air were releasing light to block the sandstorm, no one could disturb us here, in the centre of this sandstorm, instead it was the quietest place in the world. Time seemed to pass, but it did, and as we ended our kiss, the sandstorm that had surrounded us disappeared and the desert was once again calm.
The moment the sandstorm disappeared, the sky blue glowing wolf bead suddenly absorbed the light and he turned into an unblemished blue bead slowly falling towards the top of Conrad's head.
Suddenly, a glimmer of light flashed above Conrad's head and the next moment I saw the wolf bead turn into a blue mark that appeared on Conrad's forehead.
The deep blue seal seemed to be the mark of a god, each bend in the seal showing the sacred and the unearthly, and with this seal embellished, Conrad's aura was even more uniformly ethereal and divine. "Otis, the wolf pack's people are still waiting for us, we're home."
At that Conrad's face showed a touch of confidence.
"Kazan's revenge can be avenged at any time, my power is now completely above his and sooner or later I will have his self-proclaimed noble bloodline and totem utterly destroyed in my presence."
After saying this Conrad turned into a wolf and a blue light appeared before my eyes, then I was once again amazed by the sight before me.
His body was even stronger after his transformation into a wolf, his fur had completely changed from a dark blue to the light blue of the sky, his pupils had changed from green to a brilliant gold, his body seemed to be wrapped in the sky and his golden pupils were the sun dotting the sky.
It was so beautiful, this was a completely mythical creature.
It was as if he was the centre of my world, my companion, the only thing my eyes could hold at this moment.
His name is - Conrad
Conrad's POV:
This is a new body, the power of the Moon God is so great that Otis used her bloodline to awaken the wolf pearls and bring me back to life in such a miraculous way.
I was completely dead, but I was alive again, free from the infinite darkness, and I was so shocked that I couldn't calm down, as if there was a wave in my heart that couldn't be stopped.
Suddenly I looked up at this starry night sky and I remembered the darkness of death that I had experienced.
When this consciousness of mine went into chaos and completely fell into the slumber of death, this sky-like blue light actually awakened me and allowed life to emerge within my body.
This gaining of life again after death, this experiencing of the torment of boundless darkness, I clearly understood the preciousness of life.
"Conrad, I am actually alive, I was all but dead, but now I have gained strength again, it is too much to believe!"
"Yes, I can't believe it myself."
Carl's voice in my mind seemed to testify to his madness, and I let his rant echo inside me, for I too was now almost on the verge of madness.
Power, more than just gaining life again, endless power raged inside my body like rushing waters, a power that I couldn't believe was something life could gain.
"Conrad, how do you feel now, has your body completely recovered?"
I heard Otis' voice with some worry appear behind me and an excited smile appeared on my face.
"I feel very good now, I've never felt better."
I ran through the desert again with Otis in tow, my speed and hers gradually increasing as I felt my resurrected body carefully, my body was filled with almost unimaginable strength and I felt the difference between the old me and now, almost like a puppy and a tiger. Every inch of my body, every muscle produced a completely different feeling than before.
The wind in front of me was beating wildly against my body and the desert on the ground receded towards the back, a speed that almost made the desert form a yellow shadow while I was travelling through space.
My eyes glanced towards the rear and I realised that even Otis, now trying to keep up with my speed, was having great difficulty, I was now outpacing her!
I don't doubt that my current speed would make it difficult for even a cheetah to overtake me.
It was too strong, I was running through the desert at this speed, but I didn't feel the slightest sense of using my strength again, it was as if there was no end to my body's power.
I slowed down a little so that Otis wouldn't get tired.
I felt the moonlight shining down on my body, the unobstructed, pure sky above me in the desert at night, there were few clouds this evening and the bright stars twinkled in the sky, making the desert seem to glow in the dark.
I could clearly feel the night starting to get cold, the temperature was once again below minus ten degrees, yet I didn't feel an ounce of cold, my power-filled body kept me from being harmed by such temperatures at all. This was just amazing.
"Otis, now let's run straight back to the Blue-moon Pack in one breath."
When I had fully acclimatised my body, my voice became heavy once again.
Now that the danger was gone, the most important thing remained unresolved, close to four days had passed so that I could obtain the antidote and the plague of wolves had probably become worse.
"Understood, Conrad you don't have to slow your pace on purpose, I'll do my best to keep up with you, the wolves are still waiting for us."
Otis's firm voice rang out in my mind.
The cold wind was blowing in the evening and I ran ahead of Otis, using my body to shield her from some of the wind pressure, the moon was moving slowly over our heads as my speed increased and Otis was now putting on full speed, which shortened the time it took us to cross the desert.
By the time the moon was completely lost to the horizon and the golden sunlight appeared ahead, we could see the edge of the desert.
The green forest appeared like a carpet on the horizon and the golden glow made this greenery look incredibly bright, that's where our home was.
The Blue-moon Pack was not far away and excitement was in our hearts, but as we got closer to the forest, a voice came from inside the ruins of the Grey Pack not far away.
"I have waited for you, but I have waited for days."
The voice of a vicious werewolf appeared behind a distant building.
