Now that Tessa was made aware of Timothy’s plans, she could barely wait for tomorrow’s arrival. Since Tessa would be performing tonight, she left for Wiener Musikverein early for rehearsals.

Currently, she was inspecting the equipment and dress backstage. Once she was sure that everything was fine and ready to go, she got ready to rehearse again.

Alas, just when she took a few steps, she found Alice, who was looking for her. The instant Alice saw Tessa, she quickly walked up to her and reported, “There you are! Mona and Mr. Brooks are outside the theater.”

Tessa was pleasantly surprised when she heard that. “Can you help me with this violin? Just place it back in its casing. I’m going to have a meal with Mona and Mr. Brooks, and I won’t be back at noon.”

Then, she handed Alice the violin she would use for her rehearsal before disappearing into the hallway. Meanwhile, outside the theater, Mona, whol initially stood side by side with Scott, was pushed aside when some fans recognized Scott.

Although she was frustrated at their rough treatment, she didn’t voice her protest and merely gazed tenderly at the man who was giving his fans an autograph.

Such was the scene that came before Tessa’s eyes the moment she came out. She quirked her brow as she quietly approached Mona’s side. “Aren’t you jealous after seeing so many beautiful ladies gathering around Mr. Brooks?”

Mona turned her head and saw the mischievous look in Tessa’s eyes. “Why should I be jealous? After all, they’re just fans, aren’t they?” said Mona as she once again looked in Scott’s direction.

At this moment, Scott had just finished entertaining his fans and finally strode toward the two women. “It’s been a while, Tessa.” “Indeed, it is.” Tessa looked over with a smile.

After that, the three of them exchanged a few words and headed to a restaurant. During the meal, Tessa realized that the relationship between Scott and Mona seemed to be the same as it was two years ago. For that reason, she winked at Mona. Her gaze was as though she was asking Mona, You still have yet to make your move on Mr. Brooks?

Sure enough, Mona understood what her gaze. meant, and an emotion that Tessa couldn’t understand flashed across her eyes. Just then, Scott suddenly stood up and excused himself, “I’m going to the bathroom, and I will be back later.”

“Sure.” Tessa nodded. Thus, Tessa patiently waited for Scott to leave the table. Once he left, she immediately leaned over to Mona and asked curiously, “What’s the situation with you and Mr. Brooks now? Why does it seem like there’s no progress at all? Could it be that you haven’t taken a single action in the past two years?”

“That’s because I didn’t.” Mona nodded. Tessa looked over doubtfully and voiced her concern, “This is a little unlike you. Did something happen?”

“Nothing happened. I was simply afraid that we won’t even get to stay as friends in the future once I confessed my feelings.” Mona expressed her worries.

If truth be told, Mona hid one thing from Tessa. Back when she and Scott had just gone abroad, there was a time when the atmosphere was right, and she wanted to confess her feelings but was firmly rejected. Nevertheless, she still remembered the words Scott had said to her at that time. “Mona, the most important thing for us now is to improve our respective musical ability. So, I don’t want to think about other things for the time being. Do you understand what I’m trying to say?”

As Tessa had no clue about that, she was a little worried about Scott and Mona after she saw Mona being so cautious and indecisive. After all, the two of them were her good friends. Therefore, she couldn’t help instigating, “I think… Instead of worrying over nothing, why don’t you just confess your love to Mr. Brooks openly? Time waits for no man. How many years do you have left to keep waiting like this?”

Mona kept quiet, but she actually felt what Tessa said was right. I’m not getting any younger, and my family keeps urging me to get married. Time truly won’t wait for me if I don’t confess now.

Tessa naturally noticed that Mona was somewhat swayed by her words, so she continued, “Think over it carefully. By the way. Timothy will propose to his girlfriend at the banquet after my performance tonight. I’m sure the atmosphere will definitely be good by then. You can actually try then.”

“I will think about it.” Mona pursed her lips, but her voice sounded hesitant. Tessa nodded and said no more about that issue. Well, love isn’t a business for a third person like me. As a bystander, I can only support them but not meddle in their relationship. Furthermore, I genuinely hope that they will both get the happy ending they want.
